The ultimate water-friendly shorts made from Featherweight Stretch to dry in a breeze.
sun protection pants - reviews

Great ...
I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica. The fit was great (true to size), they are super comfortable, and they were cool in the hot sun. They were perfect for water activities too. I swam in them a few times and they dried very quickly. I thought they might be a little ... but they weren't, they were a perfect length. I also bought the longer version of this ... they did not fit as well. I returned them.

Versatile
These ... perfect for the beach and travel. They are stylish enough to wear around, but also perfect for wearing over your suit to either swim or snorkel. Their material allows them to dry quickly. I wear them over my suit while snorkeling to ... back of my legs from the sun and they dry quickly afterwards. They run a bit big for just wearing everyday, but that is helpful when I wear them over my suit.

Best shorts!
I purchased these shorts for an upcoming trip to St. Maarten. I plan to need waterproof, sun ... gear that coordinates and will be easy to pack. LOVE these shorts! They are a new staple in my casual and active wardrobe and I plan to purchase other colors as well!

sweet ...
i usually wait for sales but these seem worth fullprice! i really wanted the orange and didn't want to risk them selling out in my size. i'm an 8 in many other pants but a 6 in most gap/athleta bottoms. i got both sizes and the 6 is perfect! i'm almost 5'8" 145 lbs. (much of my weight being on top, though). the length is great and fabric nice and light but not flimsy. these look like the usual good athleta quality. i wouldn't try rockclimbing or serious scrambling in them but would hike on trail in them for sure. they should dry fast too, so i'd wear them around water. it's still too cold for ... here but i've had ... similar peached fabric before and liked them a lot. i got these to replace a pair with velcro close that i didn't like. i do like the hook closure better (more secure, less noisy and doesn't catch on things). the fit looks great, slim but not pulling anywhere. backzip pockets are flattering to a smaller behind, the waist doesn't gap at all and the legs don't stick out. i like the tie waist and would even be able to wear them for some types of yoga.

Fabulous ...
I love these ... tried the breeze style in pants and bermudas and found them unflatteringly baggy in the leg, but the ... lovely: slim in the hips, with just the right rise. Super comfortable.

Great ... - cute style
I love these ... ordered a size 4 and I'm 5'6"/127lbs. I usually wear a 4 in pants so they run true to size. They are light weight and quick to dry. The style if very flattering and work well over my bathing suit. I plan to order another pair in another color.

Two thumbs up!!
I have these ... black and khakina. These are terrific ... dry very nicely. I wore them over my suit when we went kayaking. They are super comfy (especially after sitting in a kayak for 3 hours!) and flattering. I especially like the length and the drawstring. I normally don't like drawstrings in pants and/or ... but it was nice to pull the waist in a bit more with the drawstring. I have a small waist. More colors would be wonderful!

These ... great
I bought the ... just before our trip to Cancun and wore them on a one day eco venture...ziplining, repelling into a cave, and climbing a Mayan ruin and they performed great! On top of that, it was raining most of the time and the ... were water wicking, then the sun came out and they dried instantly and were great in the steamy weather. All in all, I'd give these shortly top scores. The ony annoying thing is the tie around the waist. One end is now half way through the back of the ... after the first wash as many ties will do!

Love the material Its my 2nd pair. I wish Athleta made pants in this material. I haven't found any though.

nice ... but not perfect
it's good for some activities, because it's soft and it dries quickly. However, it might not be good for hiking because the fabric might pill when sitting on an abrasive rock. The fabric drapes well, but it's too flimsy/thin feel for me to wear it to town. I wouldn't use it for running because the waist band is constructed like chino pants with hooks involved. Most likely, I wouldn't use it often, but I'll keep it anyway. One extra note: my butt is pretty flat, and this thing is tight around the butt.

Good ... outside
This ... very lightweight and comfy for warm summer days. I anticipate it will be comfortable in the AZ sun. However, the inseam isnt quite as long as i thought it would be. Its at an awkward length...would prefer an additional 1/2'.
