All around great beach choice!
The fit is perfect. Love the option to ruch up sides to be more active or to wear longer for lounging at the beach, almost like a swim dress pulled down.

Best swim purchase
This Ruched Guard is the best swim apparel that I have purchased from Athleta thus far. I ordered it 2 days before departing for Belize and through the help of an Athleta representative, I got it just in time. I bought to wear while snorkeling as to not get a sunborn from all the exposure. I'm 160 pounds, 5'5" and the medium fit me great. I will wear again,again and again.

I love this top! Just started surfing at the age of 49 and have a hard time finding gear that's not made for teen age bodies. I've been using a men's rashguard, but this is soooo much cuter. It runs on the fitted side, which is good for a rashguard, I got a large so it would be tight. I'm 5'8 165 lbs, 36D chest. Love the length, too! I felt covered up without having to wear boardshorts. Ruching on the sides is very flattering!!

Great swim shirt. I bought it for modesty reasons, and it fits well--snug but not skin tight, so if you want skin tight, order a smaller size. Held up well in water, didn't get too saggy. I've not got it in 2 different colors. :)

Great cover up!
This was great to have as a cover up while snorkeling and hanging out beachside! While I like that you can pull it down to cover your hips if desidred, it's a bit on the long side when just over a swim suit. I felt it gave good coverage and extra protection from sun exposure. I bought a small, and am 5'6", 130... those with larger chests might need to size up.

Great to wear ...
I searched for something modest to actually swim in, and this is it! I wore a normal swimtop under ( due to no lining or support in this top) and then ordered the swim skirt coverup to wear as a skirt under it. It's so cute to swim or wear out around swim area! I'm 5'6 and 128 lbs but ordered a large so I could use as coverup. It fits tight even with a large, good thing I did. Love tightening the drawstring on the side as a top, and releasing it as a swim dress . Love love it! I prefer not showing my arms,shoulders, chest or tummy just because I want to enjoy the pool with the kids. Sun protection is so important too.

almost perfect
I got this to swim, boat in and protect me from the sun. It is so cute I loved it however, when I pulled it down for as a dress it showed a few too many bulges. When I ruched it up for swim there was too much material as I am short and it looked really bulky. I am 5'3 and 120 and gave to a taller friend
