LOVE this suit!
I cringed at paying so much for just a tankini top -- but as a 32DDD, it is next to impossible to find a decent fitting swimsuit that doesn't make me look like I should be on stage with dollar bills stuffed in it. I'm 5'3", 125-130 lbs, muscular build, slim through the waist and narrow ribcage but with large breasts. My biggest problems with swimsuits is that the cups are always too small, the band under the bust is usually too loose, and I like to swim, boogie board, and run around with my kids and do not want to be constantly adjusting things or worrying about "exposure." I also have a short torso, so most non halter straps are too long. And I don't like halters because they make my neck ache, plus the knots in back are uncomfortable going down waterslides. This suit, however, ROCKS. I am generally a size 4-6, but ordered the Medium based on reviews that said it was snug fitting. It fits perfectly, I love the adjustable straps, it has great coverage so I don't feel like I'm going to pop out, and the print is really cute. It doesn't have enough support for running or high impact sports, but it will be fine for a casual game of frisbee. I love it so much I'm thinking of ordering the pink version too. I thought the print bottoms looked a bit too busy, so I paired it with the black Low Tide bottom and love it. Athleta -- please more colors and prints in this style!
This is great top for the beach & any type of activity
I love this bathing suit top. I might have to order another one of these tops. It looks great and fits well. I had a run down at the beach and I used this top and the bathing shorts for the run. I love it b/c it was so hot but the bathing suit was perfect. Because after the run I could jump in the ocean to cool off. Thank you Athleta for thinking of the tall women!!!
My favorite swimsuit EVER.
As a 30-something mom of a three year old, I've had trouble finding suits that work for me in the department stores. EIther you have to get a suit that's super supportive but makes you look like your mother, or you have to get a suit that's WAY more suited for a college girl who's nice and tight (i.e. no stretchmarks and saggy chest.) Enter this suit. The underwire has support which lifts, but not enough that I feel constricted. It elongates my (short) waist. I'm a 36D and the medium top fit me PERFECTLY. And I paired it with the matching bottoms in large, which sit right on the hip without rolling or shifting. I FINALLY have a suit where I can run after my 3 year old on the beach and not feel uncomfortable. Totally worth the money.
classic tank
This classic tank with underwire bra is just WHAT WOMEN WANT! Please make this in a classic black also! Forget the v neck and halter tops that are so ubiquitous! Give us a standard tank with a real floating underwire bra inside so that we look good.
Finally a swimsuit that works for me!!!!!!
I originally ordered a size M, but I had to exchange for a S tall. I'm 5' 8", almost 130 lbs., 32 D, and have a small waist. I was a little worried the pattern would be too busy for me, but I was pleasantly surprised when I received it in the mail. It's very flattering and fits my slim waist well while still giving me full coverage on top. I wouldn't go running in this top, but it will be perfect for me at the pool or beach keeping up with my kids. I won't have to keep adjusting myself and making sure I'm still covered up. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it squishes your girls together and when you bend over you see that but it really isn't that big of a deal and overall it's flattering.
