great summer basic
Perfect for the playground or beach as well as running around town. I am 5"9 and went with a Tall. I found the A line shape very flattering. I own two--they wash and wear well. Great skirt!!

Great purchase
My first order with Athleta and it was great. I could not be better satisfied with the Dipper Skirt. I can wear it anywhere . I did order a tall because I'm , let's say older, and I didn't want it too short~~great decision. I have people ask me all the time where I got it! I'm glad to point the way. I just might have to have more in other colors.

A pleasant surprise!
I saw a mixed bag of reviews, but I decided to order this anyway since I love to wear skorts. I am 5'6" and decided to order in the tall, since I wanted this for more everyday wear, rather than for exercising, and it is perfect! I love the material with the stretch and recovery. It's a nice performance fabric, but it feels more comfortable than most athletic wear. You can easily wear this for travel and everyday. Mine fit perfectly everywhere. The drawstring allows you to cinch the waist, and I love the lower rise. The mesh shorts are form fitting, and it's great that way. They are so comfortable, and with the mesh they are so breathable. I went back and ordered the other colors.

Great skort!
I love the skort. I have a pair of the dipper shorts and thought I'd give this a try. It is so comfortable and I love how the built in shorts keep the skirt in place. Sometimes skirts will shift around your waist or rise up on you. This doesn't do that. I am 5' tall and orders a petite. The length is perfect. Highly recommended.

The skort fits great! I ordered a tall because I am 5" 9" and didnt want it too short. I am wearing it for golf but it looks so nice you could wear it for every day.

Great for Hiking
Amazingly cute skort that is cool and comfortable for hiking. I also plan of golfing in it. I am 5'10, 145 lbs and normally order Tall sizes in everything athleta. However, because I wear tennis skirts alot and like the shorter length, I was surprised that when I ordered this skort in a regular length it was still too long for my liking. So I exchanged for a petite 8, which fits perfectly and is still long enough for good coverage while hiking up hills and scrambling over rocks, but short enough for the legs to get some sun rays. I would recommend the petite if you wear active skirts alot and are used to the shorter lengths while exercising. It is still plenty long, even on my tall frame.

Great for us tall gals!
As a tall gal and a golfer, this skort is really great. It's more feminine and attractive than shorts and is functional. So many skorts are bulky due to the shorts underneath, but these are not. Being tall, it is hard to find attractive skorts that are long enough...the short ones are fine for the younger gals, but look pathetic on a 60-year old. These are just long enough to be tasteful, yet short enough to be perky and to provide plenty of freedom of movement...perfect not only for the golf course, but also for running around town. Plus these are of a fabric that has some structure; it is not a clingy knit. I read a lot of negatives comments about the buckle on the back, but I do not find it problematic at all. However, I am very slim, with a flat behind. For the more well endowed, I could see how it might become a nuisance.

another winner!
This skirt is well made and incredibly versatile. The inner shorts are made of a comfortable mesh that keeps you covered and doesn't get too hot and steamy during the day. I ordered an 8 tall to get a bit more length and coverage for the office, and it is the perfect length. It will be a great bike commuter skort! The fabric has some stretch but still looks polished.

I love Athleta
Great skort! very similar to the Walk in the Green Skort by Athleta although a little tighter in the waist, but true to size. Fabric is wonderful it does not absorb water. I did not care for the inner mesh short because I felt it made the skort bunch up in areas. I am a petite so I just ordered a tall size, cut out the mesh short and use it as a skirt. A tall size came down to just above my knees.

Darling Dipper Skort
I love this skort. I ordered the new Blue Spruce color. It is very pretty. This season the skort seems to run large compared to older Dipper skorts. I hope the next size down will fit right. I am 5'4" tall and weigh 140 pounds and did wear a size 8.

Great skirt
I'm almost 6 feet tall so the regular size was too short. The tall is just perfect. I bought the black and also the color that looks like gray but is really more a blue (I sent this one back). I wear the skirt all the time . I only wish there were more colors.

Love this Skort!
The Whatever Skort is a favorite in my wardrobe. Last spring I purchased my first. I liked it so much that I added another color this spring. It's great to wear to my kids sporting events (where I'm more active) and church (where I'm not so active). It's truly a Whatever skort. Regarding size and fit for me: I'm 5-10 & 150. My first skort I ordered a ... 8, which for me was a too roomy in the waist, ... does have the draw string, so that helps even though it gathers a little too much. I should have exchanged it right away, ... some reason I didn't think I could wear a 6. When I ordered my second I went with a regular 6 and it fits much better. It's a great length and the waist fit is good too, again the drawstring is a big plus for this skort. I see other women wearing this skort and it looks great on several body types.

I''m buying another one
I love this skort and I am ordering a second one. My only caveat is don't order a ... unless you are very ... have really long legs. I am 5'9" and usually order a ... skirts, dresses, and pants. This was too long in a ... still wear it but it is just below my knees rather than just at the top. Great for travel.

Flattering for full hip gals
I have a full rear end. This items fits very well, and is flattering to my figure. The material is light and doesn't wrinkle. This skort is a great product. I ordered a ... 8 because I wanted the advantage of a slightly longer length to cover my legs. Younger women wouldn't need the extra length.

This is my 3rd Whatever Skort to order, I now have black, blue and olive. I wear them all the time and get compliments on them everytime I wear them. I am ... (5'9") and I've read that shorter women do not like the length, ... they hit me above the knee which is perfect. I am a mom of 4 so lots of bending, stooping, running after kids, etc is needed and this skort lets me do it without fear of flashing!

I'm 6'1" ... tomboy. Normally never wear skirts or dresses but found this and thought I would give it a try. Absolutely love it! I did NOT order the ... size because I read a review from anther ... person that said the ... too long. Ordered the regular size and it fits very true to size in length and waist. It feels awesome on, shorts underneathe and the way the skirt flares around. I think might be becoming a little more girlie?! :o) Love it so much I have two in falcon and black. Material is sooo comfy and travels well without wrinkles or at least the wrinkles come out very easily.

Great color, material, style, fit and function. More compliments in the first three hours of wearing than I can count. I'm 5' 11" and 140 lbs and the 6T fits like it was tailored for me. Length, which is usually my challenge re skirts and dresses, is perfect. Being able to order in ... gift! We were out all day yesterday in the heat at a soccer tournament and I was incredibly comfortable. While looking fashionable, this skort also keeps you cool and dry. Will be ordering in more colors as it'll be perfect for running errands via bicycle -- allowing me to exercise but still look decent running in and out of shops.

perfect little skirt
I love everything about this skirt/short combo. It fits perfectly, the fabric is durable and cool. It is flattering and very useful. I highly recommend this 'skort'. I am ... wide hips and a less than wide waist. It hits me just above the knee, which might be too long for some women.

Feminine Comfort!
I don't ... feminine as I'd like because womens clothing is usually so uncomfortable and cumbersome. ... these skorts are perfect. I feel totally comfortable and look like a girl again. And behold, they even come in sizes I can wear after having a baby. And the material feels wonderful, soft and nicely weighted. Oh, and unlike the other skorts, this one covers my knees!

So comfortable & cute
I love the Whatever Skort! I like how you can still feel feminine with the skirt, but still be able to do tomboy activities with the protection of the skorts. Also a piece of clothing to beat the summer heat. The fabric is wrinkle resistant, breathable, light and soft. I would have a Whatever Skort in every color if I could afford it. I could not ask for a better fit. Normally I would have ordered the regular length, but only the talls were available in the color I wanted. Pleasantly surprised!
I am actually shocked by how much I love this skirt! I ordered it because I couldn't find anything else like it and find myself wanting to wear it more than I expected to! The falcon color is a nice, warm neutral taupe that borders on olive and I feel like it goes with everything. The fabric is uber soft and lays well (not stiff like corduroy usually is), and the skirt is cut and constructed well. It hits at just the right point to minimize my curvy hips and accentuate my smaller waist. The length is perfect for tall boots and I love it with the estonia tights! Such a fun fall fashion! If it helps, I am 5'5" and 115 pounds. I measure 25" waist and 36" hips and the 2 is a perfect fit.

Wear as a midi
I have 2 "Whatever" skorts in size 10 petite, so when I saw the "Whenever" skirt, I jumped to get it. I ordered 10 tall to wear it as a midi. I'm 5'4" and it hits just below the knee. Looks fab with knee high boots. The waist seemed to be the same size when comparing the 10p Whatever skort with the 10t Whenever skirt (some other lines use very different measurements for waist and hip when making petite vs tall items of the same numeric size). I like that is has coordinating thread for the stitching (the Whatever skorts used contrasting thread). I think this skirt would be great for a business casual office, too, or just casual "on the go." Don't understand the point of the drawstring on the inside waistband, so I just removed it. Haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to wear.

Versatile little skirt!
I wear this skirt everywhere - lunch, church, dinner parties, you name it! The A line fit is comfy and flattering even thought I am only 5'3" - my husband always compliments me on it. It is still cold so I wear it with tights and tall boots. I have it in black and a dusty pink.

Thanks for putting so much though into crafting a flirty, sporty little skirt. The olive color is dark and versatile. I'm getting whistles. I like to show a little leg and was torn between ordering a tall and a petite because regular was out in my size. I'm 5'9". It's pretty short. Maybe I could have gotten away with the Tall.

I purchased for my teenage daughter. Love the style and look with tights. She is tall and would have liked an inch longer - please consider adding smaller sizes to "tall" - they start at 4. Size 0 and 2 would be great in the tall. First time customer and found the return process very easy - had ordered 2 different sizes. Looking at purchasing the whenever skirt in the spring.

so far okay
Ordered an 8 tall in rye as I needed this to cover my knees. One thing you can't see in the picture is that it has contrasting stitching in the same color as the waist fabric. It will limit what I wear it with, but it's not worth returning over. In general, can't wait to wear this skirt. I have short legs, and the 8 Tall hits just below my knees. I usually wear between a 6 and 8 in most brands for low rise pants and ordered an 8 as I tend to wear a 10 in mid rise pants. The 8 fit perfectly despite some reservations. I'm 5'6" and 165 pounds. Need to lose a bit of weight but it's mostly muscle and bone. It is a bit "tight" around my thighs, but I have athletic thighs and no hips to speak of, so I always expect to either have stuff tight around the thighs or loose on the hips. Hope this will become a staple in my wardrobe.

I have wanted to order the Whenever Skort and never did so with the change in weather ordered this one and love it. Fit is great and very comfortable. Looks cute with tall boots.

Cute skirt!!
I had this in the summer skort model and loved it so I bought the corduroy one to see if it was as good. It is a good length (I'm 6' tall, 150 lbs and bought the 10 tall size), and overall fit is good too. The fabric seemed a bit stiff at first, but after ironing and wearing it softened up nicely. I will get a lot of wear out of this skirt for sure!!

I like it!
I just received this skirt yesterday and it looks great! The flare highlights your rear end and does not make you look large. The skirt comes down from the hips like a typical a line and then has the flare about mid thigh or just slightly higher. It is a skirt as it states in the description, not a skort as so many have been confused by...I knew it was a skirt. The fabric feels fine, is thick and I can't wait to wear it this fall! I got the Tampenade color and it is a dark olive color, not brown. I am 5'8'' and I got the size 12 tall because most skirts are like minis on me...the tall falls to the top of my knee.

LOVE IT!!! A winner.
I LOVE this skirt. I have two colors, will probably get more. It dresses up, it dresses down, it goes just fine with a halter swim top. It packs easy. It is a tad wrinkly when packed but comes out with a little steam or LOW (remember low iron, it's poly so I accidentally got it with hot heat and it melted a portion of the fibers), so it is GREAT for travel. You won't be dissapointed.

Great look, great fit
I ordered this skirt in black for comfort and for travel. It was so comfortable that I ordered another in navy blue and would have ordered another if the color were available in my size. I am 5'3", 117 lbs and the Petite Small was a perfect fit -- just above the knee. Would love to see dresses in this fabric as well.

I am fifty and do not always like to wear shorts around town running errands and such so the skirt is perfect. I feel pulled together with minimal effort. Casual/cool/comfortable! Great with flip flops/athletic shoes. It dresses up or down. Will order more.

I absolutely LOVE this skirt, and I bought one in every color. I don't think I have ever owned a skirt as comfortable as this one. I have received numerous compliments on it, and some of my friends purchased it themselves. This skirt is appropriate for very casual outings, but it also dresses up well for more formal occasions. I am 5'6" ... weigh 128 pounds, and a medium fits me perfectly.

I could live in this skirt

awesome travel skirt!!
So first off, I'm just under 5'8," 125ish pounds and usually a 4-6. Ordered a S ... because I've been getting the ... dresses and it's been perfect. The ... skirt comes just below my knees, which is a good length to have but I think I'm going to get another one in a regular cut. Keeping this because as I said it's a good length to have around but I would say unless you are ... opposed to on the ... end of average probably go with the regular length! Pocket in the back is a cool touch, the lines are flattering and the fabric is so light and DREAMY!!

Get one in every color!
I wear skirts and dresses all summer long. The bodega skirt is a must have for the spring, summer and fall. the fabric is soft and durable with just the right amount of stretch. i highly recommend purchasing more than one color seeing as this fabulous skirt will be staple in your wardrobe!

Great little skirt!
The skirt is pretty, and it fits and looks good on me. I got it in mercury and then got another one in berry. I would prefer that it had some cotton to give a little heft to the fabric, but I am getting a lot of use out of the mercury one and I expect the same from the berry one, now that it has arrived. I wear it to work, as my office is casual, and I prefer skirts and dresses to pants in the summer.

too casual for work
I have a hard time with some skirts and dresses due to my curves, for instance I tried to do the Pencil skirt they have in this fabric, and it didn't work at all. But the Bodega is a very nice flattering shape; I usually wear XL on bottom, and I bought this in XL and it fits fine (whereas the Pencil skirt was too small even in 1X). I got the Bodega in Gem Blue. This is pretty, but not a color I would normally wear on bottom and I'm not too sure about it, may return for a more ordinary color. I agree with one reviewer who said the fabric seems too casual for the price, and I wouldn't wear it to my conservative workplace, but it's so soft and comfy and the style works so well for me that I will keep it for weekend wear.

Nice for women with smaller hips
I liked this skirt a lot, but it wasn't flattering on my curvy figure. It clung to my hips and flared out, giving me a bell shaped effect. I also have skinny legs, which could have made the skirt look worse on me. I loved the feel of the fabric, but I just didn't like the way it made me look. I think it made me look dumpy, when I'm actually ... athletic. I prefer the Gatsby skirt, which has more of a straight up and down cut. I have two in two different colors! I would recommend this skirt to someone with fewer curves. I am 5'8" and 150 pounds and I ordered the medium.

Just bought *another* Pack Everywhere ...
I love, love, love this ... Just bought my 3rd one, in the blue that was one sale.. nice color. Bright, but deep... very nicefor a resort vacation, or just going out around town. I tend to be a size 10 in Athleta dresses (size 8 normally).. I am a 36C and 155lbs, 6feet tall, and I love the length on this ... tall. I'm in my 30s and prefer not to have several inches above my knee showing.... The fabric is light, and comfortable, and I think the top gives a great lift & shape to my chest, without revealing too much! I also like how it is fitted more at the ribs, which slims me out. Will continue to buy more!!!

Great ...
I purchased this ... because of the color and now that I have it in blue, I think I would also love this ... black as well!!! I am 5' 11", 145 pounds and I purchase the 8 Tall. The 6 Tall fit due to the stretch in the fabric but was too small in the waist and bust. The 8 Tall is perfect. My only complaint for Athleta is that the sizing is not consistent across their product line so their sizing chart does not apply universally to each garment. I usually order two sizes and am able to decide which fits better. Back to the ... really fits great and gives good support for the bust (I am a D cup) that I do not need a bra. The bra pads are a great addition, too, for discretion. Thanks, Athleta!

So versatile!
I opened the box, out it on and headed to kids school event, swim practices, errands etc... It was so comfortable and cool (temps in high 90s that day) and I felt a little ... up from my normal summer casual wear. Long day and no wrinkles too! Longer than I expected, but now I am glad I got the Tall size. I am 5'10, 140, and small chested - the M Tall fits perfect. Flattering for those of us with smaller chests. Will definitely pack on next trip - so easy to throw on and goes from pool/ beach to dinner - just add jewelry!

The perfect ...
I am 5'10" 165lbs and have found ... shopping to be about as stressful as jean shopping because of the way many dresses are cut. I bought this ... before and fell in love it and recently bought another one in solid black. Not only is this ... incredibly comfortable (it moves with you) it can be ... up or down and the material is great in hot weather climates because it is thin (but durable) and it's breathable. Not to mention it has a crazy slimming effect! I bought them in ... cut is perfect for my height and shape. I have other dresses from Athleta but this one is my favorite.

I love dresses but have never bought one without trying it on first ....UNTIL NOW ! Wow, what a great fit and kind of sexy, too. I bought a size 6 ... hem hits the middle of my knee; I am 5' 7", 140 pounds. The tie back halter style is very flattering since I have an athletic build: small busted, yet broad shouldered. I bought this in Falcon which is a flattering color for my olive skin. However, I love the style and fit so much, I plan on ordering another one in the fuschia. Now if we would just get some warm weather....I could show off in this ...

Great fitting ...
The rest of the reviews on this ... right--it fits great! I have an unusual body type: 5ft 10in. tall and a size 2 or 4. It is extremely difficult to find things that actually fit and don't hang loose anywhere AND are long enough for me. Well, this ... fit the bill--in REGULAR length! I wanted the hem to hit at the knees and this one does. The tall would have been too long. The size 4 fits perfectly. The fabric is lightweight with a little stretch in it--very comfortable.

Beautiful
This is a beautiful, feminine ... wonderful cut and perfect fabric! I am 5'8" tall, 141 pounds and ordered the 6 tall. Too long, hits below the knees, I should have gone with regular length. The fit is very tight, but it is very sexy, only you need a flat stomach to wear this one as the fabric is very light. Since I had a baby 1 year ago and still have the mommy tummy (don't think it will ever go away) I need to quit being on denial and realize this type of the ... not for me anymore. Bummer, it is a beautiful ...

Great travel ...
I am 5'10" and chose the medium size with ... length; it goes to mid knee, so it is a nice change from the typical summer dresses that are all so short. The material is very light wieght so I am hoping it will work well for travel to beach destinations. I did find the waist area just below the chest to be a bit snug - I am slim so be aware if you are athletic and perhaps wider thru the rib cage, this may not work for you. Love the color!

Too long for a 6ft gal, unless maybe you are a grandmother
Waaaaaay too long for a tall. I am a little miffed, since only the tall style was on sale for a decent price, not the regular length. I decided to try it, even though I read other reviews that said that it's too long as well. They are right! Unless you like dresses to hit you below the knee --because that is where it hit me. It fit perfectly every where else. I am mad that I have to return it, [...] and possibly order the far over priced regular version of the ... sold out in every color except army green --and I highly doubt I will look good in that color.

Cute ... but runs large
This ... my first order from athleta. I am 5'9" and 145 lbs. I normally wear a medium or size 8 tall at other stores. I had to order this ... three times (first size 8 tall, then 6 reg, then 4 reg) to find the size that fit me. I noticed that other reviews mentioned the fact that this ... ran large, but never imagined that someone of my size would take a size 4. Also, I don't recommend the tall length unless you are at least 5'11". The material was lighter than expected, but otherwise the ... really cute. I'm glad I finally found the correct size!

not as flattering as I would have thought, it's just OK. It does fit true to a size small, but too long unless you are 6 ft tall, what's up with that. Not too many are that tall, so please stop.

Comfortable, versatile ...
Very flattering and comfortable -- I ordered this expecting it to be a ... just to run around with the kids in (and I'm sure I will), but ended up wearing it first to a party. It dresses up or down very nicely. I'm 5'7", 145, with a small bust. I ordered a medium ... very happy with the fit and length. If I were ten years younger and didn't have chubby knees, I would have gone with the regular length, but I wanted a little more coverage. The ... fell at the middle of my knee, which is just what I was looking for. Love it, and ordered a second color!

Another great ... time I ordered this ... ordered 3 other dresses and this was hands down a keeper. I ordered it in black and hope to order it in other colors. I'm 5'10 between 8 and 10 and ordered the ... medium and was pleased with the overall fit. Versatile ... requires only a cute pair of shoes!

Great Sporty ...
I love this sporty ... Very comfortable and much thicker and forgiving quality fabric unlike some of the "thinner" dresses I have gotten from Athleta lately. (What's with the poor fabric latley?) Anyway I'm 5'10" ... normally a size 14 with a 38 D chest and I got the XL, it fit perfectly, this one is a winner, I'm going to get it in another color. If you are modest you may want go with a taller size. I found the length is perfect though for a summer ... wear at the cottage and get a little sun as well as run errands and maybe even golf in. Not a dressy ... though, more casual. Nice job Athleta, keep these kind of dresses coming.

THis is my favorite ... My first one I ordered last year in black and love it so much I recently ordered another one in purple. I wear these to work or to run errands in, ... up or ... down. I'm 5'8" ... usually wear a size 8. I ordered these dresses in a Med ... it's the perfect length. I'm small in the bust (A cup) and this ... made for small chested women which is another reason why I love it so much.

Bingo! After trying the Dhara and LBSD dresses withour success I finally got it right. This ... fits just perfect. I am 5'5 and 127. I went with the small ... size in black and the lenght it's just right (I don't like anything shorter than 38" on me and the ... 39"). I love the fabric, the feel, the fit. Just perfect. Great casual summer ...

A great ...
I love this ... would love to have it in more colors! I am 5'10 with a size 32A chest. I ordered the olive color in size small ... color is more brown than green, but a very nice neutral color. I sometimes have trouble with dresses being too large in the chest area and too short in length, but not with this ... have been finding that I am usually an XS in other Athleta tops but the small ... fits me well. The top is fitted but not too tight and the length comes to maybe a half inch above my knee. I really like the fabric. It's very soft and comfortable. It is a little thicker than I had expected but I still think it will be comfortable in the hot weather. I think I will wear this ... lot this summer!

Great basic that dresses up or down
Like this ... enough to own 3 of them. I am 5'6" size 14 - got the regular length black senorita last winter and love it - The reg length is great with leggings or boots/tights. Just ordered this Sangria color in a ... another black one in a ... work since it hits right below the knee and I work in a pretty conservative organization. Great with a jacket or sweater for work and flattering enough for a generous butt and hips. Looking forward to travel with them this summer b/c they pack small.

Cute, comfy, versatile ...
I wanted a comfortable and casual ... wear around the house and around town on the weekends, and was considering some of the other Athleta dresses, but when I read the great reviews for the Seniorita ... decided to give it a try instead. I'm so glad I did! The fit is flattering, comfortable, and super easy to wear. I am nearly always a medium (5'10, 145 lbs, d cup), but after reading other reviews ordered both the ... medium and the ... small to try. The medium fit fine, but had a lot of extra fabric everywhere from the waist down. The small is fitted through the chest, but not too tight, and the rest of the ... fits perfectly. I wore it the other day to meet some friends for a causal lunch, and got lots of compliments!

I love this ... bought two of them and I was not disappointed. I admit I was a bit nervous as I waited for my order (after having read all the reviews that claimed the ... too "clingy"). I do not like "clingy" clothes. I do not wear short skirts either, thus I ordered the ... M. It is perfectly perfect! I am 5'4, usually a size 8 or sometimes a 6. I am slightly smaller on top than on the bottom. This ... falls exactly as it should: in a perfect A line. It does NOT hug my hips and it drapes around the bust beautifully. It is not too low cut. I am a teacher and I wear my dresses to work. They are very appropriate and in no way "revealing". My bust is perfectly encased. The fabric is divine - soft and thick so that it does not look flimsy. I would not recommend this ... someone with a large bust or very wide hips. I am curvy, and definitely NOT slim. After two children I do not have a flat stomach (far from it!), yet if I were two inches wider on top or on the bottom this ... would not be flattering. On the downside, it is somewhat pricey. As it is, I love it so much that I would buy five more - except I do not like the other colors! PLEASE make this ... some more fun colors (I own the "chalkboard" and the "olive")! How about coral pink, asparagus green or aquamarine???? Fall colors would be nice too: pumpkin spice, aubergine and palm green!! I would buy two of each! Thanks, Athleta.

I love this ... am very hard to fit I'm ... broad shoulders and this ... so flattering and comfortable. I bought it in long sleeve as well. Like I said before I hit the jackpot with Athleta.After searching for years to find comfy everyday dresses that are stylish I found several dresses at Athleta AND the color choices are amazing! I am very happy with my purchases.

This is one of the most comfortable and stylish dresses I own. The quality is excellent and colors are so good, you want to buy multiple. The V neck is not too deep but if you're above average height, go for the ... size. The organic cotton is a wonderful bonus,

Looks great & comfortable
I love this ... originally ordered a ... Lg. I am 5'9 and 155 lbs. but when it arrived it was too big and too long so I exchanged it for a reg. Med. It was perfect. It has the comfort of wearing workout clothes but looks fantastic. I would wear this anywhere from at home playing on the floor with my little kids to out to dinner. I ordered it in another color as well and will be wearing these dresses often!

Comfy and cute ...
I love this dress...the fit is right on par with other dresses I have bought from Athleta, and the quality is great. I bought the Small ... (I'm 5'10" and 140) and the length is great. The stretchy material makes this ... very movable and comfortable for whatever your activity.

Yessss!
I love this ... size is just right (I'm 5' 5", 130 lb and got a small), the fabric is soft, and the color is great. I really like the length too. Since I'm not 6' ... like some of the models must be, many of Athleta's dresses are a little long on me. This one falls a few inches above my knees. I haven't worn it much yet, but it'll definitely be a favorite!

Comfortable, simple yet stylish
I love these Senorita dresses. I have three long sleeve in black, blue, and purple (I also have three in the sleeveless version too!). I usually don't wear dresses because I don't find dresses to be very comfortable or practical, but this ... VERY comfortable, very simple but also very stylish and flattering. The material is substantial (not flimsy) but also stretchy. It is a body hugging ... wear Spanx underneath so my panty lines don't show) so you have to feel fairly comfortable with the shape of your body, but since it has long sleeves and covers most of the thigh, it also covers a lot too. I'm 5' 2", 120 lbs, runner with muscular butt and legs, small chest, and the XS fits me perfectly.

Amazing ...
I own this ... long sleeved and the sleeveless version. The ... lengths are spectacular. I'm grateful that athleta offers most dresses in ... often can't find simple dresses that are long enough for me to wear to work (I am 5'11"). The purple color is a nice "neutral" and a good base for many outfits. Wish they had this in red!

A Dream ...
I love this ... am always looking for simple, well fitting dresses to wear to work. The fit is perfect, and I do not have a perfect shape! I ordered a ... size, and the hem just hits at the knee - just right for me! I want one in every color - the ... my dreams!

Love this ...
This ... so comfortable and versatile I find myself going to it all the time. Its another Athleta favorite of mine! It has a bit of stretch and is a nice silhouette. I have a long torso and am 5'8" about 135 lb and got a ... small, which fits pretty perfectly. I have a hard time fitting into dresses because I have a long torso, so I was glad to have the option of the ... size. I think the regular would have been too short. It is cute with any type of shoe but of course now I want to bundle it up with tights, boots, and a scarf. WIth the stretch in the fabric it's more casual but a cute wear for any setting, especially since you don't really have to ... up to go anywhere here in CO! Oh the only potential minus- I haven't washed it yet but worry a little that it will pill or fade.

This is the first time buying from Athleta and I loved this ... bought the small ... I'm glad I did. I'm 5'6" and like my dresses below the knees so I can wear to work or out so I can ... up or ... down. I wore to work with leggings and high boots and got many compliments. The sleeves were slightly long, but not bad. I love the color. Thanks for having ... sizes as I will buy again.

I was thrilled to see that this ... available in talls. Fits well overall but despite the ... size, the sleeves are still too short on me (I'm 6').

Nice and comfortable
The fabric is very nice, but I do wonder if it will fade quickly after a couple of washings. The waist is a bit bigger than I expected. I will likely try to wear a belt with it to draw it in, but there is so much extra material, it may be too bunched up. Love the fact that it comes in talls! Finally, a long sleeved ... sleeves don't hit at my wristbone!!! Please expand your ... selections to your shirts and sweaters!

Athleta get your sizing right!!
OK, first of all I am 6'0" ... 150 lbs, small 36 C. For number sizes I usually wear an 8 or 10. This was my second ... purchase from Athleta. The first one I bought a Large regular because I didn't want it too long. The large fit my chest, but was huge everywhere else. I liked it though, so i had a friend take it in for me. This time based on reviews of people saying this ... short, form fitting, etc, I first ordered a Large ... green color. Nice color and nice fabric, however, the Large ... came at least to the middle of my knee cap and again was way too big in the waist and hips, even though my waist and hips align more closely with the large in the size chart. The other issue is that for a ... made for ... women, there wasn't quite enough length from the shoulder to underbust, but not quite bad enough on the large that I wouldn't have kept it if the rest of the ... had fit better. So, I returned it for a Medium ... had to get a different color, so got the Oatmeal. The length was a couple of inches shorter, which was great for me, but it was a big difference. Waist and hips good but the chest was too tight and looked a bit ridiculous even though according to the size chart I am a medium in chest, but worst of all was that shoulder to underbust length. Who wants to keep tugging their ... down all day to get it in the right place? Ugh!! I'm mad to lose $6 on the return shipping for this. Get your sizing right!!

Sporty & Comfy
I got two of these dresses because I knew I would love them - the perfect combination of Sporty, Active, and Cute. I wore this after skiing when sweats seemed like I was giving up. I wore this out with the girls because it was comfortable and still dressy. And I will wear it all winter long with tights because it's so darn tootin' cute. Yes, it's a little like a neoprene suit (I love that about it). Yes, it is probably too casual for work (who cares, I don't work). And perhaps I look a little like Gumby in the green version I got along with the black, but that's kind of fun, too. Coffee rolled right off the front of it (amen) and it looks super cute with boots, clogs, etc. I like the high collar because it covers my neck. And lastly, the highly impractical zippered pocket on the sleeve that I will most likely never use adds to the sporty appeal and I thinks it's cool. I commented that the sleeves are "too long" but I am tall and I love, love, love the long length. I think I fear the day when it starts to show wear and tear.

I purchased the Black Medium Tall Hut Warming ... I'm 5'10" at 145 lbs. ... fits well. Length hits right at knee. Good casual ... wear with tights & flats or boots this Fall & Winter. Zipper detailing is a nice touch. Would recommend this ... anyone who wants to wear something other than pants or jeans.

Athleta dresses are perfect winter dresses with boots. I'm usually a size 6-8, 5'7" and 145 lbs, the medium fits perfectly. This ... easy care, very comfortable, dressy enough for an office but casual enough for anytime. I have longer arms/bigger shoulders and I love that the sleeves are long enough for me. Cold winters would not be a problem in these dresses, they are so cozy. Love it!!

I just got this ... today and I LOVE it. I expected to like it, but I LOVE it. It has a warm fuzzy lining and is very flattering. I am tall and carry more weight in my hips and fanny and have a smaller waist. It fits every curve and flatters the right places. I would wear it every day if I could. Looks great with boots or cute tennis shoes. I ordered a Tall and it is just about at my knee, if you want shorter order regular (I am 5'10"). If you are in the fence, BUY IT!!! Totally worth the money.

LOVE IT
LOVE this ... so soft, warm and looks great on. I wore it to a party and with tall boots on vacation at the beach just this weekend. It feels like I'm wearing sweats and I look cute at the same time. I love this ... Not too tight so if you don't look like these models/athletes in the pictures, you can pull it off. Well worth the money.

So warm and cute
I just got this ... love it. I'm 5' 6," 125 lbs., and usually a size 4; I like my dresses well above the knee, so I ordered a petite small. It fits great; very sporty and youthful looking, and SO warm. That's a plus for someone living in Vermont. The only drawback with ordering a petite is that now the empire waist comes up a little bit too high. With the right bra, though, I can prevent it sliding up while I'm wearing it, so it should be fine. I can't wait to wear this to work with patterned tights and tall boots.

Love the boysenberry color but....
(I'm 5'9 w/34" inseam with a wider waist, LONG thin legs, D chest & 145 lbs). I Love the fabric - super warm & cozy but the ... actually 1.5" longer than the web listed for the Tall and the chest seams where zipper is - was coming loose and stitching didn't match up so I returned and hopefully the next one won't have the same problems. It's an adorable ... I've decided to order a 2nd color also. I orered the LT. Overall only 2 items out 9 items ordered were keepers because the rest had major flaws or sizing/length issues. Trying again with reordering most of them. Sure wish sizing was consistent from one ... pants to another when you order a LT in any of it.

Cute ...
I ordered this ... wear with tights as an alternative to my wardrobe of jeans and yoga pants! It's a little long (and I'm 5'7" tall), but better than too short. It is very warm and comfortable. I ordered the purple and love it- very rich color. Ordered the large and it fits perfectly. Looks great with a scarf and uggs!

Odd fit
Was hoping this would work, but It's lumpy and shapeless on me. Would probably suit a tall slender wearer I'm 5'5". The zipper was very hard to zip. Back it goes

Perfect all around ...
I am so glad I decided to splurge on this ... am a laid back casual person but I love to wear dresses and skirts. This ... fits my personality perfectly and it is easy to wear. I like the way it looks with tights and boots and I like being able to throw it in the washer and dryer. The medium ... fit is perfect for me 5'9, 140lbs and the ... blue color is great for fall.

Fall Fave (so far)
I am kind of addicted to Athleta dresses and this one, so far is my fave for the autumn batch. I am 5'5", 128 pounds, 34D. I got the blue in a small regular and the purple in a small petite. The regular hits just at the top of my kneee. The petite looks more like the model in the pic. I kept both! The longer one is probably better for work, church, etc...But both are just so versatile and I LOVE THAT! Around the house, around town...with boots, with flats...with/without jewelry! The fabric is also awesome...comfy and sexy...I don't know if I should sleep in it or go out to dinner in it! Maybe both :)!

Finally someone is making clothes that fit my lifestyle. I can go from yoga, to work, out to dinner! I like trying on clothes before I buy them because I am ... but not big. This size can be hard to fit. Love that Athleta's dresses are long enough for me! Thanks for opening the Mill Valley store!

Beautifully soft fabric, comfy, cozy style and pretty colour!
I liked this ... so much I got one in the Meteor Grey as well. I'm 5'4", 34DD and have curves. I was a little scared to purchase a t shirt style ... because of said curves, but needn't have been scared! The soft material of this ... doesn't cling and feels just so comfortable. I've worn the Aubergine colour with my ... black OTBT boots and the grey with my tan Uggs. The regular length hits my knees, isn't short like on the model. The sleeves are long, but I like that. I might try the petite for the next colour, even though my sister says I have enough of these dresses. They're just so pretty and comfortable! Plus I get lots of compliments when I wear them! Yay! Def purchase if you're even contemplating :)

Best ...
I love this ... I'm 5'10" and normally wear size 6 or small. Bought the ... Small, and it hits the top of the knee and sleeves go past my wrists--rare finds for ... women. The fabric is a little thick--nice for cooler weather--and it's got just enough stretch. Not sure how it'll hold up in the wash, so I'm planning to dry flat. I bought the Aubergine and am happy with the color--looks like it does online.

Cute ... but size didn''t work for me
I followed the advice of another reviewer and bought an XS Petite -- and found that it was too small. (I normally wear a S Petite in all Athleta dresses: 5'2", 32x27x37.) By the time I tried to make an exchange, they were sold out so I opted for the Reg Small. Unfortunately, it's too big in general on me -- so I'll have to return it. Bummer ... Overall, I'd highly recommend it -- just be sure to follow the sizing chart and don't go a size smaller.

wonderful ...
i got this ... Regular Small aubergine and Petite Medium black. all my other dresses are Small (couple XS). the small was a tad long in hem (hit above knees) and sleeves. the Pet Med however has longer sleeves but the hem is a good length, couple inches above knees. i love the material and it's not huggy. it's perfect for fall and i got knee boots to wear with it too. the pockets are handy (a big reason i chose the ... throw in keys and loose bill change while shopping. great errand ... lunch, whatever! i will be wearing them all the time. i'm hoping the Small will come back in stock so i can buy another one. not sure why they needed to put ruching on the back but not a deal breaker.

I sized down - love it
I ordered the blue color in one size down and am pleased. I have found I generally need to size down in Athleta dresses with this kind of cut. Contrary to what another reviewer suggested, I don't think you need to be "shaped like an ironing board" to wear this ... can we stop hating on other women's bodies please?). True, it isn't fitted at the waist, but I think it hugs the chest and rear nicely while still leaving something to the imagination. It will also accommodate a larger chest; I am a 34DD and can comfortably wear the XXS. Unfortunately, if your regular size is XXS, I think it will be too loose for you.

LOVE this ...
I really loved this ... material was so soft, the color beautiful. It just was longer than the other dresses I have bought from Athleta (I have 6 and love every one). Since I am only 5'3", this ... hit me below the knee, which is not as flattering on my shorter legs. I wanted to exchange it for petite, but it is out of stock. Bummer. Now, I wait for it to come back in and keep thinking of perfect occasions to wear it!

Nice Enough.
I like this ... but it is not my favorite Athleta ... quality (and price) is high with soft, thick fabric and a nice length in the sleeves and skirt. The ... comfortable, functional and a very nice shade of light navy. The top, sleeves, and hip area are slightly fitted. The middle, however, is a floppy, loose wasteland of extra fabric. This might be less noticeable on a girl with no waist or shaped like an ironing board. Still, I will keep it because attractive fall dresses are hard to come by.

no luck with this or other dresses lately
I bought this in xxsp petite and xsp petite. I thought it was the right size but it hung in an unflattering way. I thought the pockets made it a bit too casual for work and were too girly for grownups.After buying a bunch of dresses lately from Athleta, I have had trouble finding one that fits in a flattering way and that i like. I wonder what is up.
