... OFF, in my opinion....
These pants are excellent quality as all their pants are. Lack of quality is never an issue with Athleta, but I do have issues with their ... would have loved to have a pair of these Dippers, if I could have gotten them to fit. Some reviewers say true to ... others say too small and others say too big. I guess it all depends on your body type and weight. I'm 5'10", 165# and the 10 talls were way too small in the regular Dipper. I then ordered a ... 12 ... low rise dipper and they were too big. The ... length in both ... were perfect though. By the way, I couldnt tell much of a difference in the rise between the low rise dipper and the regular, in case anyone is debating between the two. The Mariposa pant is my favorite and is the only Athleta pant that was really true to ... me. But, I still recommend these pants. I just couldnt find a ... fit me.

Good pants...length still a issue
Well....my biggest piece of feedback for athleta.... Get different lengths in pants..... I have ordered severa pairs of dipper products overr the last 12 months.... I see how much people love the dipper pants. As a stay at home mom, they seem like a good option.... I LOVE the dipper shorts and skorts....the size 8s are perfect with a little wiggle room.... For some reason, the 8s are snuger in the pants which is annoying, because the 10 s are huge in me.... The low rise option seems to help allowing me to wear the 8 s and they feel great!! Now...the regular length looks goofy and short, but these talls are soooo tall....I will get them altered and keep them, but has athleta considered having medium ... am wondering if you had 31, a 33, and then a 35 for the lengths... Also.... The different colors are inconsistent with the lengths...anyway, I have two pair, on great sale, I am altering them and keeping them...I am 5'8" almost at 5' 9" and 140. I would recommend getting a couple of different sizes and then sending back the ones that do not fit... Also ... up...

mixed review - love and meh
I ordered these pants because they are UPF rated at 50+, which should allow me to save the hassle associated with full body sunscreen when I'm just running errands and doing short hikes or bee bopping around town. They feel great, and I'm getting a lot of compliments on how they look. I am 5'8" and 125 pounds, and the regular length is too short for me in the best fit ... 2. I tried 4, and they were somewhat longer, but that is possibly due to drooping. The 4 talls were baggy and would need to be shortened about an inch, so I settled on the 4 regular because they are at least not high waters. A 2 ... would probably be perfect since it doesn't exist. :) The waist is definitely not low rise, and they come up far higher on me than they do in the picture (I've heard males are often used to model female clothes, so one wonders). I've got two pairs - a khakina and a mercury. Both colors look fab. I did notice a couple of loose threads, so I'll keep a watch on quality. Overall, not sure how well these will stand up to a serious hike, thorns, rock scrapes, etc., and I would like more information about the UPF rating so I don't fry myself inadvertently. Can you guys add a link to the certifying body perhaps?

outrageously comfortable
Great pants. Super comfortable and cute styling. I'm 5'11, 145 and got the medium talls. They are too long, but the draw strings at the bottom keep them from dragging. Small ... perfect length and looked good, but was not as comfy as the medium talls. I wear these to work, around town, and lounging. Love 'em.

True Talls
True Talls. 6'1", ... XL, prefer inseam 36" for flat shoes. Fantastic! Beautiful fit. Well made, cute as heck. AND LONG ENOUGH. Would be better 1 1/2 inches longer, but will work if you tighten the drawstring on the bottom and make them look like ankle length pants. Please keep making these and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT stop making TRUE talls. There is absolutely nothing worse than companies advertising pants as ... they are for 5'8". You can buy pants with a 34" inseam at your local [@] without spending hundreds of hours on the internet scouring for a 36" inseam. These XL's are about 35" long. RE: hips - I have a curvy body with female hips, these hips fit tight, but with the stretchy knit they fit...usually the waist is way too big if the hips fit, these work great for curvy female body.

Super slimming and comfortable pants!
LOVE these pants. I have two pairs of the regular bettonas and wish I could exchange them for two pairs of these boyfriend bettonas! Super comfortable and, they make me look more fit than I probably will ever be. I love the pockets and zippers. (I find it funny that people give these pants a negative rating b/c they don't like the pockets and zippers...they seem pretty obvious in the pictures/on the model to me?) Only issue...in the pic with the model, it looks like the thigh portion is snug and the calf portion is looser. Mine are loose all over. I'm 5'7", 120 lbs and got a 4...I wear a 4 in the low waist dipper pants, in the whatever skort (can fit into a 2 but it's not comfortable)...so I didn't think to get a 2 in the boyfriend. However, I think the 2 could work. Also, I'm short waisted/long legged...and the length on the regular for the boyfriend just works, but another inch or two of length would be great. I've read the talls are SUPER ... hemming these would be a pain b/c I'd want to keep the cinch at the bottom. So I'll stick with these. LOVE THEM, wish I were wearing them right now!

Very nice!
Hearing other peoples opinions along with their measurments always helps me decide to dive in or not if a pair of pants are expensive so I'll lay it out. These are awesome. I'm 5'10 3/4 (long legs average torso 145lbs. I'm inbetween having to order talls or longs and go between a 6 and an 8 in womans. In these pants I went for the "8 ... GAP jeans ... bit too long unless I want to wear heals which I don't really do so I get a long in gap not the ... these pants was the right move as was the ... 8 which fit just like the 6's do in gaps "long and lean jeans". I put true to ... because gap ... off- these are right on. If I go shop at express I'm also an 8 ... really nice getting these in the mail and opening them and putting them on and having them fit PERFECTLY! the right length- right rise- not frumpy. Nice looking especially since I'll be working out in them and grocery shopping in them and cleaning in them! I gave them only 4 stars because I got this olive green color that Is not very greenish- more like a grey green. so colors off a bit- its not "olive"

These pants were not very flattering. They might look better on a curvier gal. They were too big & I can't even go down a ... because ... small is the smallest ... talls. Still hoping that Athleta will one day decide to carry XS/2 in ...

Very Cute
These pants are really cute. I put them on and they are very comfy and stylish. It will be very easy for me wear these pants from the gym to run errands or whatever. They are very long as I have ordered ... pants before and have to pull them way up but these I don't have to. Please do not stop making clothes for talls. These are my new go to pants. Thanks.

Love them!!
I am glad I bit the bullet and spent the money on these... They will be fantastic in the fall and winter.... I ordered the medium ... black.... I am 140 lbs, and 5'8" and a half.... My only complaint is that the regulars would have been too short but the talls are too long. They need to be shortened.....it should be worth it....they are super comfy, and they do not look like work out pants, but pants I could wear anywhere... I would love to take these on a trip...ideal for planes and long car trips.

Pros: Love the look of these pants. Super comfy with a casual, wear anytime feel b/c of the denim like styling. Material is a good weight. Good for fall to spring workouts. Also great to just throw on at the end of a work day. I'd love a pair in gray heather but they've been sold out in my ... Cons: I'm 5'7" with long legs and typically wear a ... 4 ... Bought medium ... bettona pants and they were insanely long, even for me and I lean toward too long pants. Exchanged for small regulars. They are JUST long enough. If they shrink with washing, I'll send them back and exchange for talls and hem them. The overall fit could be more snug. I typically wear Nike workout pants and like their just a-touch snugger fit. Rise is fine. I tend to wear [@] low rise jeans, so I'm like a lower rise, but these are just fine. Overall...sizing is difficult, other than that, I love them!

nice lightweight capri, sizing a bit inconsistent
I've bought 2 pairs of these capris to replace years old, similar capris that happily no longer fit due to weight loss. These capris are very lightweight so are perfect whenever you want some coverage but also want to keep cool. I haven't gotten them wet yet but if they are anything like the old ones in the same fabric, they will dry instantly. I'm 5'10" and chose the regular length rather than the tall because I find that the tall "mid" rise is too high. The 2 colors I got fit slightly differently. Also, I marked "true to size" but they are definitely "true" to a contemporary vanity size - at 145 lbs I am in a size 6, which is crazy.

Great Capri Pants!
I love these capri pants. I bought them in a tall size since they were an inch longer than the regular. I have every color that was available. They wash nicely and there is no need for any ironing. Can be put on right from the dryer. The draw string at the waist allows for pulling it tighter or loosening if needed. Have had many compliments on the indigo color which is close to a jean color. Would recommend.

Best capri ever!
Really cannot believe how amazing these capris are. They feel light as a feather, like silk against your skin, yet they seem fairly sturdy. They also fit perfectly. I'm curvy through the backside from working out (I'm 5'10, 154 lbs, usually a 6 tall, for reference), but I have a small waist, so I usually have the too big-in the-waist but-too tight in-the rear problem. Well, it's like someone made these pants custom for me, because they fit amazingly. I've actually never tried a more comfortable pair of pants. Ever. I hope Athleta makes these for a long time, and I plan on ordering every color.

Pleasantly surprised!
I am actually shocked by how much I love this skirt! I ordered it because I couldn't find anything else like it and find myself wanting to wear it more than I expected to! The falcon color is a nice, warm neutral taupe that borders on olive and I feel like it goes with everything. The fabric is uber soft and lays well (not stiff like corduroy usually is), and the skirt is cut and constructed well. It hits at just the right point to minimize my curvy hips and accentuate my smaller waist. The length is perfect for tall boots and I love it with the estonia tights! Such a fun fall fashion! If it helps, I am 5'5" and 115 pounds. I measure 25" waist and 36" hips and the 2 is a perfect fit.

Love it!
I own 3 of the skorts in this style. I am 5'4", 124 pounds. I ordered the 4 Tall in this because I like my winter skirts to be 23" long. The fit is perfect. The grape jam color is beautiful. Would like to own it in asphalt and black too. I especially like that on the skirts, the top stitching is tonal and not contrast stitching like it is on the skorts.

Awesome!
This is a fantastic skirt. I am 5'10" but decided not to order a tall because I wanted it a little shorter. It comes just above my knees and is really great. The fabric is very soft and overall the skirt seems really well made. I ordered it in black and the dark green with the intention of only keeping one, but I can't decide and may end up keeping both! My only complaints are that I wish it came in a burgundy/maroon color, and that the size 6 was just a tiny bit smaller in the butt. I normally wear a 6 but I can fit comfortably into the 4. However, I think it looks just a little too tight so I'm keeping the 6. I'd buy this in burgundy/maroon in a heartbeat!

cute skirt
I purchased for my teenage daughter. Love the style and look with tights. She is tall and would have liked an inch longer - please consider adding smaller sizes to "tall" - they start at 4. Size 0 and 2 would be great in the tall. First time customer and found the return process very easy - had ordered 2 different sizes. Looking at purchasing the whenever skirt in the spring.

Love this skirt!
I was very happy when I received this skirt. It looks really attractive and the color is great. I'm 5'5" 118 lbs and I ordered the 6 tall. I like a bit longer skirts for work, so tall is a better look for me. Unfortunately, the waist was just a bit too big,(I have a small waist and a bit larger hips) so I've also ordered a 4 tall to see if that will fit better. There is a drawstring inside, so it can be adjusted. Either way, I'll be wearing this skirt a lot! If they had more colors left, I'd order them!

so far okay
Ordered an 8 tall in rye as I needed this to cover my knees. One thing you can't see in the picture is that it has contrasting stitching in the same color as the waist fabric. It will limit what I wear it with, but it's not worth returning over. In general, can't wait to wear this skirt. I have short legs, and the 8 Tall hits just below my knees. I usually wear between a 6 and 8 in most brands for low rise pants and ordered an 8 as I tend to wear a 10 in mid rise pants. The 8 fit perfectly despite some reservations. I'm 5'6" and 165 pounds. Need to lose a bit of weight but it's mostly muscle and bone. It is a bit "tight" around my thighs, but I have athletic thighs and no hips to speak of, so I always expect to either have stuff tight around the thighs or loose on the hips. Hope this will become a staple in my wardrobe.

Cute Skirt with Boots
This is a great skirt to wear with tall boots and tights. The fabric is not very thick so it will work through a few different seasons (with some extra layers in colder weather). I'm 5'4" 124 lbs and the waist is a little big but the drawstring makes it work fine. The length works well. The skirt hits mid knee on me. I only have one issue with the skirt and that is that the fabric is always wrinkled. Also, when I'm wearing the skirt the shape is much more of an inverted tulip than the photo seems. Overall I really like this skirt and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light weight casual dress skirt.

Not as good as the "whatever" skort
I have 4 of the Whatever skorts and LOVE THEM. I got this one, and I've ordered my last few in tall so that they are appropriate office wear for fall/winter with boots. I like the length, but the sizing is inconsistent... This particular one was a bit big, and seems like the waist is higher... It seems a bit stiff (I somewhat expected that, since it is corduroy) and doesn't flow well... I may return it. I will give it another shot next week. It's comfy, I can say that for it! I have these in a few sizes/colors, etc... I wish sizing was more consistent!

Wanted to love but...
I'd seen this skirt on friends and it looked really nice on them. So I ordered a size 4 Tall, I am 5'6" and 128 lbs. It fit fine, middle of the knee, but the cord material was really wrinkled and being thicker material did not lay flat. I ironed it and it still did not hang right. I like the style of the skirt, maybe in another fabric it would look better. Sorry, had to return it.

Tight in hips
I was really disappointed in this skirt. I liked the look of it in the catalog and was excited to find it in a Tall. I am 5'9 and 125 lbs and usually wear a size 4, so I'm not a big person, but this clung to my thighs and rear end in a very unflattering way. The waist was also very loose and when I used the drawstring to tighten it, the waist then gapped and puckered. This is the first Athleta I have ever returned because it didnt' fit well. If you want the skirt, definitly order a size up and hopefully it'll look better.

Sizing completely off
It says the length is 21" in the regular length. It is actually 23 " the length of the tall version. It is almost a good skirt, I am hesitant on whether to try to shrink it in the dryer or just return it. 2 inch difference in length is a little ridiculous. Not happy with purchase.

Nice every day skort
love the skort! I wanted to wear as a skirt to work and for every day, so I ordered a small tall. I'm 5'7 125 pounds and the tall is right above the knees. The material is a little heavier so hides the lumps and bumps most ... have. I highly recommend it.

Perfect and Most Comfortable Skort for Every Day Wear
This is the perfect skort for every day wear. It is even classy enough for business meetings or nights out. I am 6 fee tall and weigh 160 lbs. I wear a large tall and it fits perfectly. It hits about a fist or two above the knee. I have probably purchased about 10 of these skorts. Definitely the best fitting and most comfortable that Athleta carries.

The best skort ever
I am 6 feet tall and weigh 170 lbs. The large tall fits me perfectly. I can even wear an extra large tall sometimes. It is great for workout and for work because it is classy enough to be suitable for business attire. It is the most comfortable skort I have ever worn. I have them in every single color and wear them almost every day.

Surprised at How Versitile
Like another reviewer says -- this one doesn't jump out from among the many skort options. I am 5'9" and the tall large fits great -- hits about 1.5 to 2" above my knee so too long (in my opinion) for golf but perfect to dress up or down depending on the top, etc. It has a hem zip pocket that I really like. Big enough for a credit card or keys and low enough that it doesn't spoil the fit in the hip area. Fabric is great for packing. Perhaps a bit more than I'd like to spend for a black skirt but it's washable and versitile. As a tall ... always expect to pay a bit more for something that really fits - don't want a super short look now that's I'm over 50 but I do want something that fits an active lifestyle.

Like the New Asphalt Color
I bought two of these skorts last year and wore them all summer long. Before they sold out again, I bought an Asphalt (S reg) and Black (S tall) because I'll be wearing these all the time once Spring arrives. The gray color last year was "Carbon", which is a lighter gray than this year's "Asphalt". I like that the gray this year is different - it is a much darker gray - nice I'll have a variety. I also ordered a Small/Tall to wear to work. The regular length is too short for work, and the tall will be perfect. I am 5' 3", 124 lbs, and ordered Small/Reg for casual wear...Small/Tall for work.

Love Them
At the age where shorts just aren't flatterning any more, especially from behind. Most skorts still have the short in the back. These don't. Love the feel, flow, drap and fit. Much more flatterning to the figure. I am 6 feet and ordered the tall size first; however, I bought another pair in regular and like that length for hiking better. The tall size will remain my dash into-the store pair. I hope they go on sale as I'd like to have a pair in every color.
