Love Kickbooty!
I love the kickbooty line - I have the capris, pants and yoga shorts. I own four pairs of the yoga shorts, that's how much I love them! They don't ride up when I run and they don't ride down when I'm in a yoga pose. Highly recommend! I am 5'-4", 130 lbs and the medium fit nicely.

Perfect for Bikram yoga
I recently increased my Bikram yoga practice to 5 times per week and just didn't have enough bottoms. I initially bought these in the asphalt color and loved the fit, so just re ordered the black and got them today. I'm 5'6", around 145 lbs, and the Medium is perfect for me. No where else have I been able to find yoga shorts at a price like this. I've paid much more for my Prana brand shorts but these fit just as well. I'm sticking with the Athleta yoga shorts but wish they came in more colors.

Great shorts
I bought these shorts a few weeks ago and they are my new favorite pair! I use them for hot and regular practice, I have similar athleta pants with the same fabric and it washes well and keeps its shape, also the fabric soft! I like more of a relaxed fit so I ordered the small ( I usually wear xs but I like s in athleta) they ride up slightly in the leg but nothing crazy and because of the length it's not too much ( I have yet to find any yoga shorts that stay put completely as yoga is an active practice) My only complaint is that no more colors are available in my size otherwise I would order more.

these shorts really work for me
i got these for yoga and though i don't do hot yoga, i like shorts rather than leggings for warmer days. the shorts are also good for indoor (gym) climbing and for quick bike rides around town. i don't know about the riding up problem since i haven't run in them. they are a perfect fit for me and i love the 5" inseam. i've had shorter and longer shorts in the past and these are a great balance, and they're neither too tight nor too loose. i'm a tall ish size 6 or 8 in athleta, so the medium is wonderful. the waist rise is just right and the wide waistband is comfy and very flattering. the seams on the backside make my butt look better too. and i'm really glad for the "dress blue" since i'm so tired of black and gray (and the pink isn't hot enough for me, a little bubble gummy in my opinion). i would love to see other bright colors, as i'm a bit top heavy and darker pants make me look like i've got no hips or butt at all. not everyone wants the slimming dark look on the bottom. the fabric is substantial enough and i'm sure it will hold up well in the wash (and air dry since we don't have a dryer anyway). nice design which seems to be worth paying full price for.

Use ''em for running too
I bought them simply for the blue color to pair with a favorite running tank of another brand. These shorts are super comfortable. All of my criticisms are based on the fact that I use them for running, and not yoga, like they could use zipper pocket in the back or a drawstring at the waist and the thighs do ride up a bit, but not so much as to make me chafe. None of these would apply if I used the shorts for yoga, though. I like that they're a bit longer than other typical yoga shorts. They're a keeper.

Comfy!
I bought this short for yoga and I'm very pleased with the fit!! I have also wore them cycling on my trainer; they are super comfortable for both activities. (I am 125lbs, 5' 4 1/2" tall and I bought the size small, which fits great).

Perfect!
I was tired of long pants for yoga! These were the perfect short to move in during yoga without feeling like I was in a pair of short shorts! I even felt comfortable enough to run to the grocery store in them. They do kick booty!

My Favorite Shorts by far
i purchase one of these pair of shorts because i love the "biker shorts" look......i am 5'8" tall, size 8, 135 pounds and ordered size md. just for reference......all i can say is i love them soooo much i have ordered atleast 5 more pair........and would buy more had they more colors available.....these shorts FLATTER YOUR BUTT, are a nice weight (not too heavy and not too lightweight) , DON'T hug your stomach to the point that you get a muffin top, launder well and especially DON'T ride up your legs when you're wearing them........there are NO cons to these shorts that i've found.......to all the people that said they ride up your legs maybe you've ordered a size too small because i know when i order my racerback tank tops and if they're too small they will ride up my stomach?!........i run in these, walk in these and wear them everywhere and have pulled them down maybe two times at the most in twice as many months.......BUY THESE SHORTS and you will be glad you did (so will your boyfriend/husband)........they make you feel very sexy wearing them!

great!!
I am a yoga enthusiast, and i do bikram yoga (hot yoga) regularly. these shorts are nice because they don't feel like they are dripping wet with sweat when you are wearing them, you only know how wet they are once they come off and you feel them, lol. also, the biggest thumbs up to these shorts go to the fact that they do not rise and give you a thigh wedgie...or even a rear end wedgie..i have a pair of nike spandex shorts that ALWAYS do that. rather than thinking about your shorts rising, think about yoga.

Great for yoga
Size M fits me just right. 130 pounds and 5'6" tall. I love these for hot yoga. Several folks have commented in these reviews as to whether or not these shorts "ride up" during exercise. I find they do a bit but it is manageable.

Great for hot yoga
The kickbooty yoga shorts are very flattering. The seams on the backside accentuates the little curves I have and at the same time slims down by tummy so I don't feel self conscious during my hot yoga class. Elastic at waist and leg openings doesn't cut into skin, very comfortable. The fabric is very breathable for the heat and it doesn't have that shiney cheap elastic look. I tried jogging in them and found them to be slightly constricting (I"m use to loose shorts tho). I'm 5'4" 123 lbs, ordered a small and they ride up a bit during some of the yoga poses but I can't imagine myself getting an XS. I'm thinking of getting more but they're a bit pricey for me to stock up on.

Love the style
In tall, pants that will give you length over higher shoes, such as Danskos. I'm 5'6", generally a size 2, and the XS tall fit wonderfully. I like the detail of the front pockets and faux zipper. Material is not too heavy, not light. They are so comfortable.

Must Have Pants!!
I absolutely LOVE these pants, and recommend them to all my customers at [@]. We talk about how you just need the basic foundations for your wardrobe (great fitting jeans, t shirts - and now I add these yoga pants), and then you can accessorize the look and change it up every day without spending a fortune on clothes. These pants are perfect for that. I have always loved yoga pants, but they are difficult to wear in certain situations - the styling on these makes them SO versatile. I've even worn them with heeled boots and gone out in them. I get compliments every time I wear them. They are flattering, slimming and incredibly comfortable. The material is so soft and for me the long length was a great change from many of yoga pants that are a bit too short. I am 5'8" and usually wear a 6 in pants and got the small tall which are perfect. LOVE these pants!

How do I stop Wearing these Pants
I came to Atlhleta for the first time abut two weeks ago. I was in search of a bra that would fit welll and be comfortable. The Glory bra has changed my life. For anyone with a D cup, it is heaven sent. The support and comfort is fabulous. But I digress from my review of Bettona Pants. The pants are first of all very comfortable. Secondly they make me look slim and tall. Thirdly, I do not want to wear any other pants but these. Each morning I get up to get dressed for work and look at my corduroy and my wool pants and do not want to wear them. I ONLY want to wear my Bettona's. I have worn them all week and do not know how to stop. I have become a kind of Bettona addict. I know that they are supposed to be worn primarily for working out.. but I love them as an everyday ... am grateful to have discovered them. I will need to buy more in different colors so my friends and co workers will not accuse me of only having one pair of pants in my wardrobe... thanks for inventing them.

Love these pants
The Athleta customer service rep recommended these when I told her I was looking for a yoga ... could also wear every day. They fit really well and are extremely comfortable. I am 5"8 and 140 lbs and ordered the small tall knowing they would be a little long. I will be wearing these every weekend as well as at my 5:30 am yoga class!

great pants
The first time.... I ordered these pants in regular length despite being 5'9" as I had read reviews that they are LONG.... They are not extra long and shrunk a little too much in the length when washed. I would recommend if you lean towards tall -get the tall. Also, I bought my second pair a size smaller than I usually wear as I felt like they become a big baggy with wearing. They are great pants that do not show any backside when bending and cover up little bellies! I think they are great.

Great pants
Pros: Love the look of these pants. Super comfy with a casual, wear anytime feel b/c of the denim like styling. Material is a good weight. Good for fall to spring workouts. Also great to just throw on at the end of a work day. I'd love a pair in gray heather but they've been sold out in my size. Cons: I'm 5'7" with long legs and typically wear a size 4 tall. Bought medium tall bettona pants and they were insanely long, even for me and I lean toward too long pants. Exchanged for small regulars. They are JUST long enough. If they shrink with washing, I'll send them back and exchange for talls and hem them. The overall fit could be more snug. I typically wear Nike workout pants and like their just a-touch snugger fit. Rise is fine. I tend to wear [@] low rise jeans, so I'm like a lower rise, but these are just fine. Overall...sizing is difficult, other than that, I love them!

great pants!
These are really nice pants and I do get compliments on the grayed heather that I bought. They're, however, not as "fun" as the Bettona Jegging, and so they're really remanded to mostly work b/c of the fit, i.e., looser. The fit is not as tight all over as the Jegging, which makes them a little less fun. They lay very nicely and go w/ quite a bit. I have 2 pairs of the jeggings and wish that the ... little bit more cut like the jeggings in the leg, that it was slimmer. I bought a large, tall, and had to hem them, but the regular length just wasn't long enough. I'm 5'7", but long legged and wear almost all my pants w/ Dansko clogs that have a heel. I have an older pair of these in the regular length and never wear them b/c the leg just doesn't slim at the right places and looks frumpy, so the long works better for me. I wish all over that they had the same fit as the jegging on the top and through the upper leg but flared at the bottom as they do, but they are a different ... jeggings are my favorite and I have 2 pair. They are wearing a bit between the legs (a little pilling) but it's not visible to anyone else. I wouldn't wear these pants hiking or to yoga b/c the fit isn't trim enough and the flare really does add extra fabric that I wouldn't want flapping around my ankles as I hike. But they might work for other people's figures out in nature. A great work ...

I enjoy these pants and am glad I ordered them. They fit well I am 5'8" tall and weigh 150 pounds and bought a large. They are barely long enough because I did not order tall .Also, they are a tad tighter than I expected, but not a problem for me. I like the color and the comfort.

Love Them
Very pleased with these pants. I am 5"7, 148lbs. I have shorter torso and longer legs. I absolutely love the length. Been a struggle to find nice pants for my length in stores. I am so happy to have discovered Athleta for this reason. These pants are so comfortable and feel so nice. Not too thick or too thin. I think they could be worn year round. I ordered the medium tall. Fit was just right. If i wanted a more snug fit, i could have probably went with small but I will definitely keep the medium. If they were cheaper I would loved to have more. The pocket detailing really adds to the styling. Would highly recommend them.

purrrrfection!
PUUUURFECT! Great twist on a yoga ... Nice booty pockets and details to "dress them up"...yet they have complete comfort for lounge wear as well. If anything--the fabric is a bit light so these are great for shoulder seasons and summer. You'd probably need a knee length coat for nipping out for milk or yoga when below 19F. I am 5'-11" about 145 lbs and the Tall Mediums are perfect!

Exellent pair of pants for traveling or everyday running around. Length is wonderful as I am 5'10" and finding this type of pants in a tall is not easy. If you are looking for a wonderful pair of wrinkle free pants, that's easy to pack and comfortable to wear then this is it!

Love them!
Love the ... just started ... I'm very tall, 5' 10", so I was worried about the length of these ... perfect. ... comfortable, stay in place and look great. I love that I don't have to give a thought to the ... just focus on my postures.

Stretchy and comfy
These ... really nice. I ordered a Small Tall (I'm 5' 8" and 135 lbs) and the fit is snug and comfy. The ... very stretchy, but the material is fairly substantial, so ... don't feel paper thin or painted on. I wear these mostly for around the-house after work lounging, but ... look like ... not pyjamas, so I feel comfortable dashing to the store, too. I'm not currently doing any ... but have in the past, and these would be perfect for ... originally ordered a Small Regular and had to exchange it for a Small Tall (the reg was just too short). Tall is perfect for me - the ... legs don't drag on the floor, even when I'm just wearing slippers or socks.

wonderful ...
I really like the fit of ... am 5ft 8 inches and 120 lbs and the small talls fit me perfectly. Don't knwo how ... wash and hold up yet but so far so good

My favorite ...
This is the first item I bought from Athleta and I absolutely love them. I love them so much I bought more in different colors (black, espresso, and submarine). The ... very flattering and extremely comfortable. I am 5 feet tall and 100 pounds and the S Petite fit perfectly after a wash and dry in the gentle cycle. The dryer probably shrank about a half inch to an inch off the length which worked perfectly for me. I usually wear a size zero in regular ... but I am glad I went with the S versus XS because the material is form fitting and I am curvy in the rear. The XS would have been too tight. I wear ... all the time, but ... also great for dance classes or just running errands. Love them! I have other ... Athleta that I love, but if you are deciding between pairs, I definitely recommend ... my top choice. (For comparison - Kickbooty is great but a little tighter and Fusion is really cute with the pockets.)

good quality ...
These ... want in a ... I'm 5'7", 125lb with long legs and was torn between ordering a S tall and a M. I ended up going with the M. The ... loose but don't fall off so I think this was the right size.

Love these ...
... so comfortable that I can't get enough. I own 4 pair for winter ... hanging out and just about anything I can do in ... am 5' tall and don't have a flat belly and ... very comfortable. For ... waistband can creep and cause a bit of a muffin top for those of use without a flat tummy, but generally speaking ... great ... leaves to be desired around the front makes up for in the back. My butt looks great in ... ordered petite small and ... were still a bit too long. ... also stretch after wearing for while (think blue jeans fresh out of dryer and then two days later after wearing several times) and I wonder if the Petite extra small would have been better.

Now that I''ve got the sizes figured out...
I'm 5'8", 130 lbs, hips on the low end of the small range based on Athleta's size charts and in excellent shape. However, every pair of fitness ... I've ordered from Athleta in a size small has been too tight. Maybe it's me at age 50 I just don't feel comfortable in skin tight workout clothes anymore. I need at least a 33" inseam so have to order talls and have them hemmed but it's worth it. I've been very happy with the styles, quality and selection Athleta has to offer. Now that I've figured out the sizing I will be ordering more.

Too long or too short
Sadly, despite the fact that I already have 3 pairs of Chaturanga ... latest ones that I ordered didn't fit. The Talls were too long and the Regulars were too short. I actually ordered the ... sent them back and ordered a second pair in the hopes that it was an issue with one batch. No such luck. I still love the ones I have though.

Fabric picked the FIRST HOUR of wear
As a 5'11" active girl, I like ordering the TALL ... Athleta. But imagine my disappointment when I ordered this brand new pair of ... take on my summer vacation to Europe. As we were backing out the driveway to go to the airport....I noticed a HUGE snag in the fabric less than one hour into wearing them.....I had planned on wearing these on the plane for comfort and warmth and touring around towns as a dressier alternative to jeans. BUT--for the price I paid, the fabric is a disappointment. Tall inseam and fit is perfect....Athleta????? Solutions?

shiny and tight
I ordered the kick booty, chaturnaga, and all that ... am a ... size 6 to 8 tall so I ordered medium talls. I was looking for ... could wear as easily in ... class as on an airplane. What I received were the kick booty and chaturanga ... made from from a slick and shiny fabric that were VERY tight around the butt/hips/crotch that I would NOT have worn out in public. ... weren't so tight, however that I believe I would have worn a bigger size (I bet that would have been too big), but ... were unpleasant and unattractive. The all that ... showed up in a capri (not what the description said) but, had ... been the correct length, would have been PERFECT -- the fabric, the fit, just lovely. I understand ... don't make them anymore. That's too bad.

Love these ...
I love these ... have purchased several pairs and wear them all the time. I am 5'3" tall and weight about 105, the extra small is perfect. and they are the only ... make my butt look great. I am a yoga teacher and wear this for teaching, for my own practice and other workouts. and I am not afraid to wear them to the store, as I look great in them. the only complaint is that they are just a bit long, but since I am in between petite and regular, that is typical for my clothing.

Kicka%& pants
Not sure these need another raving review, but I do love them. I'm 5'7.5" with slightly longish legs a 28" waist and 39" hips, so I ordered the medium in tall and regular. The regulars were just an inch or so too short and the talls were just an inch or so too long, but I loved the pants so much I decided to keep the tall and get them hemmed. It's nearly impossible for me to find workout pants that are long enough for me anyway and the fabric is usually too thin or too heavy or just not flattering. These are the perfect weight and they make my butt look great. Some of you may not mind the length on the regular - I could probably have gotten away with them - they were about an inch off the ground without sneakers, but I prefer my ... little longer (just hitting the ground) and I wanted to be able to wear them with flip flops or with sneakers. I caught them on sale and the extra money for the hem will be totally worth having the perfect go to pair.

So flattering
I've owned these for literally one day, but I couldn't wait to rate them! I'll update later if my feelings change. About me: 5'9", 140 lbs, pretty fit with a pear shape. I bought a black pair in a medium tall, and I am in LOVE. They're fitted from above the knee to the top. The rise is an inch below my navel and really flattering. The wide waistband smoothes and flattens everything but isn't constricting at all. From the knee down they're flared. The silhouette makes me look really long and lean. And the fabric is SO comfortable. Incredibly soft, not shiny at all, and it drapes and moves well. The tall length is a bit long on me since I'm tall ish but not super tall. It's perfect with tennis shoes, and okay with sandals or bare feet but the back may skim the ground. I think it'll be fine and don't have any intention of exchanging them because there's nothing worse than wearing pants that look too short, but the regular length would have been fine I think for yoga. I wore them to class last night and they were great. They stayed in place, moved well with me, remained dry through a sweaty class, and looked great in the mirror. I want to wear these everyyy day and would really like another pair now too.

I am 5'8" so I ordered the regular and the tall - did not need the tall. The regular was fine. These ... great!

Love these ...
I am barely over 5 ft tall and these fit me perfectly in the petite size. I have had trouble finding a pair of yoga ... fit me in the length. I often have to buy a capri style which then just look like I am expecting a flood. The waist doesn't move around while I do my Mysore yoga practice which is nice! I am excited to have these for the upcoming cooler weather and for wearing during other athletic activities such as hiking, walking, running and gym workouts. The weight of the material is just right, not to heavy and not too light. So far... I LOVE these!

Best ... ever!!
These ... great and ... really do make my booty look fantastic! I bought them on sale in April and love them so much that I just paid full price for another pair in a different color. I'm 5'10" , 135 and bought Small in Tall and ... fit perfectly. I wear them to yoga, the gym, hiking and riding my bike and they're breathable so I never get too hot even during really intense workouts. ... also have a reinforced crotch lining so I don't need to wear workout undies. Great purchase and worth every penny - especially for us chics with super long legs.

LOVE these ...
I have several pairs of the kick booty yoga ... continue to add more of them as I find myself in distress when my yoga ... drawer gets low on ... laundry hasn't been done in a while. I wear them nearly every day for work, and they are good looking, comfortable and well made. I work several long shifts (19-36 hours) and these ... my go to work attire for those long shifts. I already had these ... black and asphalt, and now I have the dress blue. For some reason, the latest pair I bought are much longer than they have been in the past, and these are actually too long for me and drag on the floor. Maybe that will change with being washed, but that's the only thing different I've noticed with the latest pair. I am 5'10", 180 lbs and I buy the tall large version of these ...

loved the length
I am relatively tall and usually end up sending ... back because they are too short. I love these ... even wore them to work one day with a long sweater and got plenty of compliments. My co workers were surprised when I told them they were yoga ... definitely order more in the future.

Booty licious
I'm 5'11" 150# and got the medium tall based on other reviews. They fit well, but are not as long as other tall ... I've purchased on athleta. That's my one beef with them. Otherwise, they are nice and slimming.

Order the tall if you have long legs...
Based on other reviews (several people seemed to say these ran long), I ordered a Small Regular. I'm 5'7", about 120 lbs. They were total highwaters on me, even without sneakers on. Granted, my legs are long, but I don't necessarily wear a tall/long in everything. I exchanged for the small tall, and the length was much better. I found them to be a little more loose fitting than I expected, but I love the weight of the fabric; it's great for hot yoga. The fit is very flattering as well. I'd buy more kick booties.

as cool as I''d hoped
I've been buying pants from Athleta for a long time. It's difficult to know which size to get because they differ so much. Relying on reviews, I went with the large tall. I'm 148lbs, 5'7", with muscular legs. I usually wear size 8 pants. The large in these fit well, but the tall pants were too long. Often when I find pants that fit in the legs, they are too loose in the waist and I have to alter them. This time the waist is just right. I exchanged the tall for a regular length and am happy with the fit now. They are flattering, not too tight.
