Never thought it was possible to get such a great fit!
Wow! I am so thrilled with this ... 35 year old woman who used to be overweight, ... lost 60 pounds, I ... hard time fitting into swimsuits easily. Three kids breastfed and all that weight loss made ... breasts droopy ... still large. I fit into a 34-36 DDD bra that compresses ... breasts. I ... such a hard time finding a suit that I don't fall out of the sides or the center - especially when I bend over to do something with one of ... 3 kids. I took a chance - because I ... no other choice - and ordered a suit from Athleta. YAH! I ... complete coverage on the sides and just enough openness in the front to still be sexy, ... not too much that I fall out. I cannot believe the straps! The are actually supportive without digging into ... shoulders! I can adjust their length and ... breasts are not hanging down around ... belly button! Wahoooooo. I can't wait to go to the beach.... The shirred sides are excellent for me, ... can keep ... saggy belly covered - would work for others who ... nice bellies too though - because you can raise it up! I am an Athleta believer now. Used to think that Lands End was ... only hope, and the ladies were still hanging low - ... anymore! Yah ATHLETA! Thank you!

Love the ... long torso ... needed something that would be flexible to ... always seem to get black swimsuits and was determined to break that cycle this year. I love the color of this ... shopping for ... suits online from here on out!

Your ... lovely in style and color. Since swimsuits are usually a tough find and fit, I was pleased to discover both at Athleta. I ... many of the fashions you offer such as the skorts, ... pants. You offer ... variety and style for the active, snappy casual dresser. Keep up the good work!

cute ... flattering/moderate ...
the shirred sides are really flattering and cute, keeping this ... being too boring in a solid color. the ... adequate for ... 34 D /DD, ... super. it will need some monitoring/readjusting while swimming with ... kids in the pool or beach. one thing that is annoying, and that i've found with other athleta cup ... padding in the cups is ... sewn in and can bunch up and move around which is very irritating. i keep coming back to athleta ... though because their ... fit for larger busted women is better than other suits out there. still they need to improve upon this aspect before they really get it right. cute ... overall and adjustable straps make it work.

The quality of this ... only problem with it is that it was cut very low for a women who has a larger ... sew it ... isn't ... revealing. ... unusual for someone ... though.

Fuller coverage than I was expecting. It ... well around the waist, it's just the chest that is the problem. It hides any cleavage you may ... can see how it may work well for busty women because of the under wire and very sturdy straps. It didn't work for ... can see how it may work for someone else.

No ... Big
This ... too big in the torso with no breast ... all. I bought the tye dye shorts to go with it and a few other shorts. I love all of the shorts ... second 36 C ... they both ... awful. Althleta, there are thin bigger chested women out there. I had to return both ... very disappointing because now I'm going to ... search out ... match the shorts. The shorts are very stylish and you definitely can't find them anywhere else ... kept them.

I like it
I'm 5'2", about 110lbs, and V shaped (angular shoulders, narrowing to the waist and hips). I usually have to step into bra tops and tankinis feet first. I got the size S, and size S seems to be my default Athleta size for tops, with a few exceptions when I size down to XS. I had to return the Ready to Run ... because I could not easily fit my broad shoulders through the narrow opening. I got this instead, and it fits much more comfortably. It doesn't feel quite as supportive as the Ready to Run; Ready to Run had a more restrictive shape with a higher neckline and nape (in the same size, it was uncomfortably restrictive to me around the neck). I'm a 34A B, and I think I can run in this, at least for a few miles at a time. For run/swim days, I'll pair it with the Sporty Shirred Swim Skirt, but it would be fine with regular running shorts for dry land days. I have a short torso, so the length is plenty long for me (I don't like to show my midriff). I was afraid that the colors would be garish, but they're nicer than expected. They are bright, but I think it's a cheerful effect. I especially like the lime green trim against the black.

great fabric
I've been wearing tankinis since having 3 kids, but really hate to hang out in them because they're tight and scratchy, hot fabric. This ... feels GREAT!! I'm so happy with it. Also, it's a very cheerful, pretty, modern print, which I really have trouble finding lately.Also, I've become used to buying most ... large because I want them loose. I tried that with this ... first, but large was too big, which makes sense since I'm really not large!

Good support
I like the fact that this ... has solid support - a lot of tankinis have halter straps or spaghetti straps and I just don't feel comfortable in them. I also like the fact that you can remove the padded cups. I am a 34C and I ordered a large which was fine.

Awesome ... Great coverage and great support for a large chested woman. I'm 42yo and typically wear a size 8 or 10 but have large chest so it's very difficult to find swimsuits. This ... offers great coverage and support and still looks sporty and feminine. I also bought the matching swim skirt in the same pattern and love it too. I bought both items in a Medium. Wish there were more colors/patterns! I would buy one of each!

this is second try at the wildflower figure 8. I have a medium and now a small. I have a short torso so the medium is a little long.The small is a little tight but I think it will stretch out with a few swims.I need more coverage than a bikini, so tankini's are a fun compromise.At first I didn't like the sling type bust interior, but it actually works really well., supportive and good looking. I am keeping them both. The material is quite thick and I think it will hold up well for lap swims.

I take an aqua class fondly known as "waterboarding" & I was tired of having to wear a sports bra under my ... Ordered this on the advice of my sister, who has one of these running swimsuits in a little different style. I am 5'8", 38C, 10-12 pants & L shirts. The L fits pretty well. I like the heavy fabric & anticipate that it will hold up fairly well in the pool. The ... cut lower & less supportive that I would like (even if I were inclined to run in something as skimpy as this) but it's adequate for the jumping around in the pool. My experience is that "running" or "high impact" ... nothing but a fairy tale...for running, if you are well endowed you MUST wear a real lift em up & hold em sports bra. This isn't even a full on squish em flat model, but it does have more support than regular swimsuits.

I have purchased many swimsuits from Athleta and have loved them all. This one is different from my previous ones and I love it even more. Has more support...I am not big busted but I do like to have some support and this one is awesome! The color and desgn is beautiful as well!

A great start
Solid piece, runs small. I needed a size larger than usual. Thrilled Athleta is finally supplying athletic wear for large women who are active. Only issue is the "cleavage" area that dips a bit low and shows the inner support lining.

Love this ... great support ... still sexy. Fits and feels like my favorite bra (so hard to find in swimsuits!) I can definitely play beach volleyball in this ... without worrying about falling out. Hits perfectly across my midsection leaving an inch or two above the bottoms (I'm pairing it with the Notsostring bottoms). I'm considering buying it in a second color...

Very flattering cut for small chested women

Overall good coverage
I got this in dress blue. Color is pretty, ... wish I would ... done something a bit different as it is close to the usual black swimsuits. Being big chested it is hard to find a ... provides coverage and support and doesn't look like someone 20 years older should be wearing it. The cups/support are great...I ordered on the bigger side as i wanted to make sure I wasn't falling out the ... like I often do...if I would ... had time, I would ... exchanged for a size smaller as the coverage was more than enough and I had to tighten the straps all the way for it to fit. I wish the stomach portion wasn't so loose - it made me feel a bit frumpy. ... once it gets wet, it clings nicely and shows some of your shape.

I am 5'9" and about 155 pounds and a 36D in bra size. I ordered one size up (36 DD) in the cup size just to be safe and it was perfect. I love the adjustable straps because when I am with my kids I can tighten for less cleavage and a more appropriate look. I paired it with printed Oceanside shorts and it was great for a day on the lake! I love the support offered by the underwire- something hard to find in most swimsuits. This gets a thumbs up for me and I am very pleased. I will be ordering again in the near future! Thanks Athleta!

Finally a ... fits!!
I ... tried and tried to find a ... fits ... 32DD frame. I've gotten so that ... expectations are pretty low. To ... surprise, this ... fit perfectly! It gives me enough coverage in the chest and isn't super baggy around the middle. The only downfall is that Athleta was sold out of many of the colors in ... size. That tells me there are a lot of women needing this size, so it should be so difficult to find a good suit. I will definitely be getting more suits from Athleta!!!

I love this swim ... had a very difficult pregnancy and my body shows it. The ... supports my D DD cup size perfectly and it is long enough to cover ... c section scar. I am a size 14, so this ... great for plus size women.

Cup size too big
I was really excited to read all the reviews about how this bikini ... great for large chested women. I'm a natural 34DD so it's pretty much impossible for me to find a bikini that fits, either the cup is too small or it's way too big around. Anyway, I tried it and the underwire is too wide - it's goes into my armpits. And the ... seems to pull my breasts down and to the sides - not flattering. Also, there's weird padding that isn't sewn in and sort of moves around - not sure what that is about. I just exchanged it for the smaller size and my fingers are crossed! Unfortunately all the colors are on back order until the end of June!! I think by the way it fit though a size down is going to be great. Here's hoping! I'll let you know later if it works out or not.

Disappointed
I was really excited when this arrived. My excitement quickly turned to disappointment after trying this suit on. This is not a suit for large busted women. The cut is extremely low and does not provide enough coverage even with the straps tightened as much as possible. Please make a suit with more coverage, you are one of the only retailers that sell ... cup size.

Love it!!!
This was my first ... am 5'4", 120 lbs, 34DD. I typically don't buy tankini's because they make me look boxy, and generally don't offer the support I need. Wow... this one exceeded my expectations. I bought a small ... small bottom, they fit perfect. Snug ... not uncomfortable. The ... does squish my chest, ... like the feeling of not bouncing all over the place when moving along the beach. I also like how the straps in the back are completely adjustable to however you want to where this bathing suit... no neck pain from neck ties!

LOVE this suit!
I cringed at paying so much for just a ... -- but as a 32DDD, it is next to impossible to find a decent fitting ... doesn't make me look like I should be on stage with dollar bills stuffed in it. I'm 5'3", 125-130 lbs, muscular build, slim through the waist and narrow ribcage ... large breasts. My biggest problems with swimsuits is that the cups are always too small, the band under the bust is usually too loose, and I like to swim, boogie board, and run around with my kids and do not want to be constantly adjusting things or worrying about "exposure." I also have a short torso, so most non halter straps are too long. And I don't like halters because they make my neck ache, plus the knots in back are uncomfortable going down waterslides. This suit, however, ROCKS. I am generally a size 4-6, ... ordered the Medium based on reviews that said it was snug fitting. It fits perfectly, I love the adjustable straps, it has great coverage so I don't feel like I'm going to pop out, and the print is really cute. It doesn't have enough support for running or high impact sports, ... fine for a casual game of frisbee. I love it so much I'm thinking of ordering the pink version too. I thought the print bottoms looked a bit too busy, so I paired it with the black Low Tide bottom and love it. Athleta -- please more colors and prints in this style!

This is great ... beach & any type of activity
I love this bathing suit ... might have to order another one of these ... looks great and fits well. I had a run down at the beach and I used this ... bathing shorts for the run. I love it b/c it was so hot ... bathing suit was perfect. Because after the run I could jump in the ocean to cool off. Thank you Athleta for thinking of the tall women!!!

This classic tank with underwire bra is just WHAT WOMEN WANT! Please make this in a classic black also! Forget the v neck and halter ... so ubiquitous! Give us a standard tank with a real floating underwire bra inside so that we look good.

good support
more support than i expected. great for the beach/pool with kids if you are larger busted and need support. more like a jog bra type of ... than other tankinis. i am a 34 D to DD and this is one of the first great support ... have found this summer. with small children it's hard to wear some of the other ... out there and be active in a suit without compromising support.

I purchased this suit on line after reading the reviews. I thought because it came in a tall that it would fit as other swimsuits I have purchased in tall. I am 5'10" and small across the chest, therefore I was very disappointed in the length of the ... too short, shorter than regular suits I have purchased in the past and I will be returning it.
