Favorite ...
I own 4 of these tops (they always have new, fabulous colors!). The size small fits me perfect, I'm 5'8", 135lb, 36-27-39. This is my favorite ... - the support is excellent (I'm a small B cup- I don't require an additional sports bra), and I've never had an issue with these rising up my waist. I layer this ... under long sleeve tops and jackets in the winter. The only issue I've had with this ... doesn't always "thwart the headlights"... other than that this is the perfect functioning ...

I have never written a review for a product on any site, but I love these tops so much, I had to write one. I own 3 of these tops and they are my go to tank. I absolutely love the rear pockets - it's a perfect spot for a smartphone while running or in the gym. Please put more of these pockets in your tops as no other company makes them! I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, 34B. I usually order a small in Athleta tops, but I sized up on this one and mediums fit me great.
This is one of the best Athleta tops. I love it so much I own it in 4 different colors. The latest one I bought (red) will be used as my ... my upcoming half ironman. I love that it stays in place, does not ride up my waist and provides great support in the chest area. Love it!
Great ... running
I now own 2 of these (green and red) and they are my go to tops for running. Just the right amount of support and enough coverage so that I don't feel bare when I'm running. I love the rear pockets too. I use one to hold my iphone and the other to store empty doggie bags. Really a perfect ... me.
My new favorite running ...
This is an excellent ... I've always avoided bra tops because of my long torso. I don't like tops that creep up or are too short, showing of my middle. I bought this from Athleta because it came in Tall. The ... perfect. I am 5'9", 125 lbs. The Tall small is the perfect size. The material is high quality. It does not feel hot even on very hot days. I love the 2 deep back pockets. I can use this ... my long runs and carry my gels. My only regret is I could only buy 1 right now.
I love the changes
I love that the changed the pr tank this season. The pockets are no longer sitting on your love handles, just properly position on your front side. This tank gives me the most support out of all the performance tops, without wearing a bra. 38D (with tummy). I own 1 of the previous style and 2 of this one. I also just purchased a printed energy tank. Athleta needs to make more high impact support tops for larger breasted women.
Runs Small
I was looking for a comfy hot weather running ... got this one hoping it wouldn't be to clingy. I have some other Athleta tops in Mediums that fit well, but this one does run on the small side. The bust was very tight and so I returned and ordered a bigger size. Hopefully sizing up will make the difference.
Not the best for gals with DDs but otherwise a great ...
I usually wear either a medium or large in Athleta tops and tried a large in this one because it has an internal bra and I need the extra room there (34DD). The chest fit okay but the waist was baggy - a medium may fit better except I expect the chest would be too small. And because the ... wasn't designed for larger busts, if you fill out the ... too much then it ends up pulling the fabric away from the armholes, revealing your sports bra on the sides (I'd definitely be wearing a sports bra underneath for support). I love the color (ordered green) and the back pockets, but had to return this one. I'll try it in a medium just in case! Verdict: Athleta, please design some sport tops for DDs like you have done so wonderfully in the swim suit line!
I wanted to love it but....
Overall this is a nice ... decent support even for larger breasted women, but I have a couple of issues with it: 1) although it has an unlined built in bra instead of a liner the thickness is about the same as a liner. I could wear a wet white t shirt and have less show through than I did in this ... did not order it in white). I ordered medium, which is what I usually wear in Athleta tops but for me to wear this ... public I would have to wear a bra under it and, while the medium is a good fit, it is not loose enough to add a bra. 2) In the catalog the ... looks like it is slightly flared at the bottom, which would make you think it is a little looser in the waist and over the hips but in reality it is not. This is a very form fitting ... little longer, which you would expect if it were flared but it isn't flared. This is fine for tall and/or long waisted people but doesn't lay in a flattering way for shorter people (I am 5'2"). The idea of this ... good and for the right body type it is probably a great ... am sorry it didn't work for me.
Bondage for small breasts
Again, I am on the small side. I have gotten XS tops from Athleta previously, and they have been GREAT! This was hard to pull over my head, VERY tight across the breasts, and harder to get off. Again, did not match the Sport Skort that was advertized as the same color.
Disappointing
I liked what I read. I am a plus size strong lady, and I wanted the colors. If these tops had been cut better to enclose the inevitable spread of plus size "girls", I would have kept the 2 I ordered. Unfortunately, the tops at least looked like I might spill out, and that made them unacceptable. Length and quality was fine, but accommodation to bust was not realistic for plus size, and plus size ladies, do yoga, spin, work out in gym etc. So, I am disappointed that I had to return 2 items.
