Love These!
I have 5 of these shirts now in different colors. They are my go to ... all winter. The sleeves are super long which is wonderful for my long arms in the winter. The ribbing gives you a slender look.

A rare white turtleneck
I was delighted to find SOMEONE who is selling a true white, not winter white or cream colored turtleneck sweater with the type of fit that I was looking for. The bonus is that it is cotton, not itchy, hot wool or acrylic. This sweater fits my needs perfectly, mostly for travel in cool/cold climates as a nice base layer under a coat. I do have to work hard not to get make up on it, as it shows up very well!

I am wearing this right now with pants, it is also stretchy and fitted enough to wear under semi fitted jumpers. The cream color is more cream than the white shown in the photo, but still goes with absolutely everything. Made with an ultra soft fabric, a really pretty rib knit that is very figure flattering. I have a short torso and long legs and still I love the length, I am tired of shirts that bare my back when I sit down. Only downside is "handwash only." But it's worth the effort to look this good in a turtleneck.

Organic Rib T Neck
I've purchased these t necks for years and have loved them! I wear them every day. This year I was disappointed with the way the neck fit. The neck was extremely loose with the medium and the large shirts I bought and I ended up sending most back. I am hoping next year will be different and they will correct this fit problem in the neck area. Customer service remains EXCELLENT as well as the shipping/return policy so I will continue to buy from Athleta.

Great sweater
Never ordered from this store, I have to say I will be back :) This sweater is great! The sleeves are just right, I have long arms and have a hard time finding shirts and sweater with long enough sleeves. The material is really soft and moves well, very comphy!Thank you! I will be back.

Very stylish
This is a great sweater although I ordered up a size and shouldn't have. I need to return it for the size I really am in Athleta tops. I ordered up because I thought I would need to in order to wear it over shirts and tops but the sizing already allows room for that. I really love the quality and style of this sweater.

Love it! Very versatile!
I love this sweater jacket! It is a medium weight for year round wear. It is very fitted, but stretchy. The sweater jacket is long, but I have long arms and a long torso so it works for me. It is great for layering over a camisole with khakis or jeans. I wear it on my travel days for work and on weekends at the lake running around with the kids. I would consider going up a size if you have a larger chest (C cup or bigger). I'm 5'7" 135lb with a small bust and the medium fits me perfectly.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!
I purchased this in the Clear Blue and oh my gosh. LOVE IT. I bought it a month ago and have worn it every chance I've had. The color, fit, fabric & design are all fantastic. I even love the 2 way zipper. I'm 5'4" and 115lbs and ordered the medium to wear over my shirts. And it's a perfect fit. This sweater just hugs every inch it covers. And not in a bad way. I couldn't have made a better sweater if i tried. Way to go Athleta. It's items like this one that keeps me coming back again and again.

Baltimore, sadly, is a cold, rainy place in the winter time and even with the heat on, it's still kind of un fun. I needed an all around sweater I could wear around the house, but also something a bit dressier for going out or over dresses. And finding a nice black sweater with super long sleeves (for my orangutan arms) was a must. This is it. I really like this sweater. I travel a lot, so it goes great with jeans, skirts, and over dresses. I'd recommend. I find that seeing people's sizes in these reviews have helped me. i'm normally an 8-10 in dress size. I have a 34" inseam, I'm 5'10" tall, about 136lbs. I ordered the Medium. Yes, the arms are long, but so are mine, and I like sleeves a bit long anyway.

Nice ... but a little pricey
This is a very nice ... like the fact the the zipper goes both ways. I have big hips and being able to unzip the bottom part of the ... makes it very forgiving for my body type. I am allergic to anything but 100% cotton but this ... not itchy at all eventhough it has some cashmere. I can see why the bottom would eventually bell - it is because the ... long (a good length) and it is not easy to zip it. So you spend some time trying to zip and in the process pulling the bottom so you can see why it would not zip, eventually stretching the bottom of the ... normally wear a small with Gap and Banana Republic shirts. The small ... too body hugging for me. I exhanged it to a medium and it is just perfect. I wear a long sleeve ... underneath and it is just comfortable and gives me room. This ... also sheds. I got the darker colored ... mostly noticeable when I wear a white T ... underneath. Overall I am happy with the ... but I wish it was not as expensive. I have worn it only once and have not washed it yet so I have no idea how it will hold up.

Favorite everyday sweater
This sweater makes a great everyday overcoat. Very comfortable. I had originally ordered in a small (I'm generally a ... 4 to 6). The sleeves were too tight to be able to wear over any long sleeve shirts or sweaters so I exchanged it for a medium which was perfect.

Lotsa compliments on this one
Overall, I'd have to say that I LOVE this ... Nice weight, nice length, flattering fit. It's not bulky. Slimming. I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it. It goes really cute with jeans, business casual pants, and skirts. I wear it around the house a lot because it's cozy and warm without being ginormous. It's also AWESOME for traveling (which I have to do a lot of). I usually just wear a t ... (long or short sleeved depending on the temp) or a light weight turtle neck underneath it. Anything bigger would make the fit too snug through the arms. I like that the sleeves are a little long ish--keeps me warmer, and they don't ride up. Drawbacks: The zipper is sometimes hard to engage, and it pills like the dickens & sheds. I've washed it several times, and it seems to be holding up well overall, but the pilling & fuzzing continue. That's the only thing I don't like. I think it's a bit overpriced based on how the yarn performs, but I'd definitely buy one on sale because despite the pilling, I love how it feels, and I do wear it a lot, and don't mind 'shaving' it every so often to be rid of the more obvious fuzz balls. I live in KS, and find that it suits the fall/winter/early spring weather almost perfectly more often than not. I'm considering buying a grey one since it's on sale. I'm 5'4", about 135, a bit busty. I typically am a medium to large in shirts, so I got the medium to try first. I like the way the M fit. Nice all around garment that would flatter most figures.

Great coat for NW "winters"
I based my decision solely on the great reviews of others. I am 5'7", 160lbs and the mother of 3, youngest is almost 2. I am a slender build with a middle that only another mother can understand. I ordered the falcon in medium and am very happy with it. I would have been torn between a large and extra large if it were not for the reviews. It is a very soft fleece that is fitted and flattering. I wouldn't wear a sweatshirt under this coat as it wouldn't fit but does fit well with long sleeved shirts. I have found this to be warm and very comfortable Perfect for our NW fall, winter and springs. A hood would be handy as we generally get a lot of rain but I still like it w/o one. I found the sleeves on the med to be a perfect length and not too narrow but I have slender arms and small wrists. I love the length of the coat as it keeps the bum warm. I really like this coat and am excited to wear it daily. It is dressy enough to wear out (not that I get to) and it is also casual enough for preschool drop off/pick up and the grocery store (where I usually get to go).

So Cute
I get complements on this jacket every time I wear it. I ordered in the purple color and it is so lovely. The smell of the jacket does seem to fade over time, and with washing. I have washed it once and it washed up very nicely, I was worried about that. Many others have commented on the long arms, I feel like I have average length arms, and the length is perfect. I did add a lining to the sleeves, as my shirts seemed to get "stuck" and would bunch up. The lining helps tremendously. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Love It
I am 5'3" and a size 6 or 8 with big hips and small bust and the small size fit me well. Arms were a little long but that is always true for me with cuts that are not petite, the body length and shape works well for me. I love the casual feel and comfort with the classy styling. I have the purple color and I love it though it is very bright. The buttons are really fun to fasten, look good and stay closed. The arms are cut slim so that it would not be comfortable over a heavy sweater. Perfect for mild fall or winter weather. Good for travel because it is warm but light.

Super cute!
I am a petite 4 '11 105 lbs and ordered my normal size of XS in falcon. The color to me looks the same as the picture showed and the size was perfect except the sleeves were way to long. Since it is fleece though, they can easily be rolled up without looking funny. The only thing is it may be to bulky to wear sweaters or heavier shirts under. I got it to wear with skirts as well as jeans since it is a nice coat for fall yet still looks dressy. Very cute and haven't seen any fleece coat like it!

perfect coat
This coat was exactly what I was hoping it to be. Perfect for everyday active life, in and out of the gym, grocery store or travel. The size is just right and a classy fit.

great active wear middle weight winter coat.
I absolutely love this coat. I got it in the falcon color and am having fun discovering just how many other colors this goes with (just about everything!) I was still getting used to Athleta's sizes when I bought it, so I have it, but it is a small, and the extra small is backordered until November. So I am still waiting to get to wear it until the smaller size arrives. The coat is a bit slouchy, which seems to be the intention, as it makes it look nice enough without being too dressy for active days and can be stuffed into a bag and come out looking nice for travel. So when the smaller size arrives, I will decide if I really need the smaller size or if this is just the style of the jacket. Either way I love it. In the small it seems that the front closures are too far apart so it looks a little baggy. If the extra small turns out to be too small, I will just move the buttons over so I can still keep it, I love it that much. The only thing I wish is that it was a bit warmer. It is a middle weight coat, so will do well for Oregon winters except for January when it can be in the 30's or 40's for a high. I know that's not that cold, so someone living in a more wintry climate would probably have fewer months in which to enjoy this jacket. I am planning on wearing it a lot when it gets here!

Great look with a bathrobe feel
I ordered the black, size M and I am 5'6", 135 lb. I didn't have the smell issue others reported. I really like this coat. It is roomy at this size but I bought it for travel and wanted a more roomy fit for all the sitting one does on planes/trains/etc. The snaps are really cool and don't come unsnapped. The fleece is warm without being too thick. I wear it for work and while it looks very professional, it feels cozy like a bathrobe. Much more comfortable than a wool coat! If it had a hood I'd really love it!

Great jacket.
I love that this is super comfy yet looks like a nice jacket. I normally wear a small in most Athleta pieces of clothing and went with a medium in this jacket because the upper body area of the small was a little snug. I am really happy with the jacket and plan to wear it especially for travel all winter.

Good transition coat
This coat is just right for autumn in Vermont for days that hover around fifty degrees. I've used it comfortably in 45 to 60 degrees. I noted that several reviewers found that the coat ran small and although I usually wear a medium (size 10 - 5'8", 130 lbs) I got the large because I wanted to be able to wear it over bulky sweaters. That was a good decision. It fits perfectly even over lighter sweaters, flannel shirts, etc. So I think it does run to the small side. The length is good for covering longer sweaters and tunics so it can serve nicely as a coat for 'dressy' occasions as well as for everyday. It also folds up into a compact shape and survives being scrunched without a wrinkle which is very handy for travel. I got mine in 'Asphalt' which is a dark gray/blue - goes with all my stuff.

Fun, Versatile, Fit Worked For Me
I wanted a stylish, versatile, warm coat that was machine washable -- not so easy to find -- and this really fit the bill. I got the black and love the understated military look with all the snaps done. The sleeves are a little too long, but roll neatly. I am a shorty -- 5 feet, 100 lbs -- and was worried about the length but it is fine, though I sure wouldn't mind if it were offered in a petite fit. I am pretty much a classic Athleta XS and this seemed fairly true to that, given that it's a coat. I could probably size down for a sleeker fit, but since I layer a lot, the XS works great. I find it comfy and easy to wear with different styles, but have yet to test it against truly cold weather. Hope it will keep me warm when I travel!
