Very comfortable bike shorts!
Wow!!! This bike shorts are super comfortable. The pad is good enough to support for spin class/bike ride outside, but at the same time, thin enough that very comfortable since some bike shorts's pads are too thick that not comfortable off the bike. Have not tried yet, but I think it would be good for triathlon as well. True to the size. Waist is not too tight, but tight enough that it does not fall off. Thinking about getting another one.

My Favorite Cycling Short
The Spin ... far and away, my favorite indoor cycling ... am a certified Spinning instructor and I wear these ... four days a week for my classes. They are a perfect length (I'm 5'7"). The pad is sufficient for a 45 - 60 minutes class and doesn't add the bulk of a traditional cycling ... chamois.

perfect short
These shorts are perfect for spinning class or a triathlon because there is just enough padding to be comfortable and not too much to be bulky. The drawstring in the waist is great for using these to swim in for a tri suit and they dry very quickly so you are not soggy on the bike or run.

Love these biking shorts
I ordered these for biking but ended up using these shorts for a sprint Triathlon and they were awesome. I'm 5'2' and it's always hard to find shorts that aren't too long, these are perfect. Best of all the pad is supportive enough when riding but also didn't swell with water during the swim part.

My Favorite Cycling Shorts
These are, by far, my favorite cycling shorts. I am an avid cyclist, Spinning instructor and retired triathlete. I've had lots of cycling shorts over the past 30 years and I've got to admit that the Athleta Spin Short is one of my favorites. The fit is good on my fairly straight athletic body -- there's a drawstring that I removed because it just wasn't necessary for me. The chamois is pretty light and just right for indoor cycling. I have even worn these to lift weights on the gym floor before a Spinning class and not felt self conscious about wearing padded shorts. You could spend a lot more (and I have) on a pair of cycling shorts, but you won't find a better fit or more comfortable fabric. I have them in two colors!

I use these for cycling & love them. They're comfortable, stylish, & not too bulky. I'm 5'4", 140lbs, & bought a medium which fits great.
Maybe my body''s not made for spin shorts
I wanted to like these! I've tried triathlon shorts, and haven't been able to find a pair that fit in the waist and don't hugely accentuate my crotch area. I thought maybe these ones from Athleta would fit the bill. But when I tried them on, I felt like there were arrows pointed to my crotch! It is just NOT a good look. These will go back, and I will keep looking!
