These shorts are great!
I already owned these in black, and bought another pair in red to add to my collection. These are great running shorts, though truth be told I wore them around as regular shorts before I started running last summer. They fit perfectly for running - not too tight or constricting (I usually wear a 6, and bought a M), and don't ride up when you're on the move. They don't wear out easily (I've had my first pair 2 years) or stretch out. Lightweight and very stylish!
Comfortable and no chafing!
Decided to get these to wear with my running tights and I really like them. I didn't notice them at all when I was running which is a good thing... no bunching or chafing anywhere. The material is soft and comfortable and the shorts have the built in panty, but it worked fine with the ... tights. I'm 5'5", 115lbs with a slim, athletic build and I ordered the XS. They fit well and no complaints. I've just ordered another pair in a different color and I'm going to try the 2-in-1 Hana with the built in compression short as well.
Great ...
I love these ... love most my Athleta clothes! They are great for ... They stay put, look and feel great, and they dry quick. I wear a sz small. I am a sz 6, 27w and 36hip. I also wear a Med. in similiar ... nike and under armour.
Great Shorts!
I'm so happy I found these products and store. I just started ... I'm buying ... clothes plus I can use every day. The best thing is they have clothes in TALL and there are no shipping charges. The clothes are made of great materials. Can't wait to purchase more.
The absolute BEST running short out there!
I ... lot. And I have tried countless running shorts. Nike, adias, [...], saucony. I even went to a speciality running store to try on shorts of all brands. Nothing fit like these from Athleta. The elastic around the legs is thin and not too tight. Most running shrots, the elastic around the legs is really thick and tight which causes chaffing. The material is lightweight and breathable. There is a little pocket on the inside front to hold my car key safely. The tie is on the OUTSIDE of the shorts so the knot doesn't rub. The length is perfect so that my thighs don't rub together when I ... short does not ride up either. They are the perfect running short. I am a size 4; I'm 5'6" and ordered the small. Perfect fit. I have them in almost every color!
These Shorts Are Game Changers
I cannot stress it enough: I hate ... shorts. I like wearing the lightest clothing possible while ... but as a pear shaped hipster, most shorts just p**s me off and distract me from my form (seriously, I will stop and pull and tweak every half mile, ruining my stride). Not to mention the glory of chafing in the summer humidity. However I have read hundreds of great reviews (seriously, I'm THAT skeptical of good shorts being possible for me) about Athleta's Hana ... Short, even by those who worship Nike Tempos. I finally took the plunge when certain colors went on sale. My first test drive I fell in love. I am already ordering pair #2! Thank you Athleta. Oh, and sizing down does wonders for one's self esteem. Do that when you order these. I'm 5'10" and 150lbs, and would be swimming in a L. Mediums are righteous!
Comfortable ...
This was my first Athleta ... after many purchases of other types of clothing. They're comfortable, don't ride up, and ... true to size. I'm 5'6", 135lbs, usually wear a medium (or large in Nike) and the M fits perfectly.
Great Buy
These shorts are great for running or gym workout. They are a little longer than typical running shorts which I think makes them more flattering and flexible for running a few errands after gym time. Great buy!
Hana ... Short is awesome!
I am so particular about my running shorts that the ones I have in my drawer I have had for years and years, and desperately needed to be replaced. I decided to give these a try in a large, even though I'm typically a medium. I like my running shorts roomy. I didn't try a medium, and do sort of wonder if I would have liked this size better. The large does work for me though. These are my new favorite running shorts! I ordered 2 more after I tried out the first one! I got compliments the first time I wore them. I am almost 5'8" and 142 pounds with muscular thighs & a little junk in the trunk. I have no hips though, so I struggle with the waist area when I go up in size to accomodate my other body parts. The drawstring allows me to tighten the shorts up just enough. The length is perfect, and the lining does not ride up when I jog. I could wear these all day!
Perfect ... short
I now own 4 pairs of these running shorts, they're my new favorite running short!! I wear all of them for my training ... They're very comfortable, not to long, nor to short, easy to move in, they don't ride up, and they come in great colors! I'm getting ready to ... Boston marathon and these Key Lime green shorts will be part of my race attire, just need a hot pink running tank to match..Athleta help me out here?! My only suggestion would be to add a small pocket in the back for fuel, but otherwise, these shorts rock!!

These are my new favorite ... shorts!! I have worn the Nike track tempo shorts for years to ... thought I'd give these a try b/c I liked the cute design on the shorts. As a VERY picky ... clothes person, I was pleasantly surprised at how great these shorts are--not too long or short, don't ride up--overall my new favorite. I am a size 8-10 and always buy a Large in the Nike track tempo shirts b/c I hate things tight on my waist when I ... L in these shorts fits the same--can't wait to order in other colors!
