Love this top.....but
I gave it 5 stars because i do love it. i'm 5'10 so length is perfect for me. Even some of the tall sized tops at athleta are too short for me. Only defaults: all of these rash guards need a built in shelf bra. The white was TOTALLY show though. I thought I would get kicked out of my pool club with how see through the bust area was. i had to buy a cotton strapless bra to wear under it Lastly, if the waist had a little bit of control fabric to it, to suck in tummy it would add a lot

I have been looking at these tops for a while and decided to give it a try. I love it! I am 5' 4" and 130# so a medium fit me very well. I mostly use it as a cover up but I wore it with shorts with a little ... underneath it and it works great! I like the ruching on the side so I can adjust as needed. I haven't used it paddleboarding but I did kayacking. I have it in white and tuquoise, which is a beautiful color! If you are a fan of watersports, You can't go wrong with this ...

I own two of these tops - they are super cute. They do have a lot of fabric; however, I learned that if you pull the hem down as far as it will go, then pull on the side strings to tighten, you get a much cuter look. Fabric is very high quality, and the colors are great!

Great for skimming those challenging spots!
This is a great swim shirt/ cover up for someone on the go. If you have a good bum, it makes a sexy dress. On a curvy saddle bagged mom, ruched up, it allows for adjustment to just the perfect spot (tops of thighs) to maximize my better curves and minimize my least favorite. It dries quickly for running to yoga/errands/whatever after the pool. I ordered my usual size L, knowing that even the XL would not allow me to wear lycra over my bum, and it fits perfectly through the bust/waist/hips -- fitted enough to flatter but not skin tight. Rash guard for tall women
I tried to find a rash guard in [...]. All the tops are meant for Juniors and I'm 49 years old. This provides adjustable length -- a good thing since I'm 5'9 1/2" tall.

too loose for a rashguard
Love the style and it would fit perfect for active non water activities. I'm 5'6, 150lbs and didn't think it was too long but I like my tops to hit the hips and cover the belly. I'm returning it because I bought it as a rashguard for swimming but it is too loose and floats up. I got a size Med. I'm concerned a Small would be too small for my chest.

Practical and Stylish
LOVE this swim guard! I can't be exposed to the sun, so I have to cover up when I'm swimming. This is the cutest swim guard on the internet. I now have it in 2 colors. I wear it scrunched up so it meets the ... my bikini bottoms when I swim. When I'm out of the pool, I pull it down to wear as a cover up. I normally wear a small in tops, but I prefer my swim guards to be fitted. I ordered it in a size smaller. It fits exactly how I wanted it to fit.

Versatile, perfect, adjustable sun shield
I have two of these tops for beach/pool wear and I love them! They protect my skin, look great, and dry quickly. I love the adjustable sides that can be put up or down depending on the suit you are wearing or the look you want. I love the v neck as well, that gives it a more polished look. I have tried many other protective tops and this one is my favorite by far.

this is super cute - and glad I ordered a medium!
I ordered this in the blue wave color which is fantastic and cheery and beachy. I have a 36", 34D bust and the medium does fit snug, but I prefer things that way. It's very flattering, though it is a bit too loose on my waist (27") (most tops are for me) and it feels a but thin now, but I imagine would be hot if not wet in warm weather. Cinched I actually think it could work as a second layer in non swim seasons, it's cute! I can't wait for vacation =)

body hugging fit, fashionable styling
I really like the slight mock neck, the long front zipper, and the elegant asphalt color. I have Athleta tops and dresses from this season in the 2-XS S range. I ordered this in a size S, which is my default size for athletic brand tops. I'm about 110lbs and 34B, broad shoulders and narrow hips. This ... has a body hugging fit (without looking too tight) and fits more snugly than the Summer Shade Tee in the same size. Although they fit differently, I think the sizing is appropriate based on what I had in mind. If this item were not fit snugly, I think it would be baggy and bulky, especially with the ruching, and it would probably weigh a ton when wet (I haven't used it in the water yet). The fabric is on the verge of being too heavy and too thick for the style, so I removed one star for that fact.

Great fabric, VERY tight
I ordered this two weeks ago. I am 5'1" and 112lbs. I normally wear an XS in tops from Athleta, but this one was VERY tight. I wlll be returning it. (My husband really loved it!).

Too fitted to be an all purpose cover up
I wanted a great lightweight sunscreen cover up, and went with the green so I'd be visible on my bike. However, this ... just too tight. I bought it a couple sizes larger (L) so that it would have extra space in the body and fit over tanktops or other sleeveless tops, but it was just too snug and felt bulky with even 1 layer under it. The rest of the fit was appropriate to a Large, so I didn't want to go up 1 size. The shoulders would have been too big and the arms too long. If you like a snug fit and are going to wear it over a bikini ... may love this ... though. It had great material and style.
