I really love the fit of this ... - it fits just as expected, and love the bra top. I'm 5'10" and had originally purchased the shorebreak ... (which does not come in a Tall size) and it was too short for me. So for this ... ordered the XS Tall. It is longer than I expected - it almost comes to my knees. I think I could have gotten away with the regular length ... but because the shorebreak ... so short on me, I went with the Tall. I'm very happy with it - you can ... up or down. I purchased it to wear over my bathing suit, but it's more than a coverup. It's a versatile ... wear toting around the kiddos!
Athleta does it again! Perfect summer ... am 5"7, athletic build, and a 34D and my medium ... fits great. Love that I don't need to wear a bra with the ... during the hot sticky summer months, and I still feel supported. Could ... up with heels for date night, or flipflops for taking the kids to the park. Love this ...

I am very happy with this ... overall -- Athleta does such a great job with ... casual but also stylish enough to wear out -- either for lunch or dinner at the beach. I am 5'7, 125 lbs and very fit and this ... clung to my figure -- so I agree with the other reviewers that if you have any wobbly bits, they will probably show in this ... But at the same time, it's not figure hugging. The fabric was a bit wrinklier than I expected but I am hoping that this will work itself out. This ... fits perfect at the top for those with smaller busts (I'm a 34C) and it really rocks a set of strong broad shoulders. I like the way you can tie the ... several different ways at the back and I love the foam cups that hide any bounce or headlights. (Is there anything less classy than someone with a pretty ... absolutely no support and nip out?! ugh! Also, if you have any underarm fat, that will probably show also but you can cinch the ... tighter to deal with that issue. Overall, a great little ... got it in black -- very pleased and glad I purchased this!
Beautiful Easy Wear ...
I was sure that I would get this ... wouldn't look good on me cause that always happens when I buy things online that I love. I was wrong! Absolutely LOVE this ... looks amazing on, not clingy, but its not boxy either. Great soft fabric, Vivid blue is amazing! I am 5'4", 127lbs. One thing I love about this ... its not too short. I wear ... everyday in the summer, but so many of them are just too short and with 3 kids...6,4,and 9months.... I can't afford to waste time worry about if my butt will show when I bend over to pick one of them up! I will certainly be getting this ... another color, I wish they offered more choice, I might get 2 more! BUY THIS ... glad you did!!!

My sister in law has this ... looks great on her. I thought she was wearing a strapless bra with it, but found out it has the cups already in the ... immediately ordered it, and it's so flattering, and perfect coverage for A B cup, as well as the days I don't want to hold in my stomach! Length worked well for me (I'm 5'4") in both regular and petite, but ended up with petite medium for a looser fit (126#) and slightly shorter length to wear around the pool while the kids are swimming and I'm not getting in the pool. I plan to ... up as well, so that's why I got it in black. Great ... Forgiving, not frumpy.
Great ... beach or hot day
Casual ... goes well with some flip flops on a hot day or straight to the beach. It is obviously casual and "swim suit" material looking so this is not a ... night time. 5'7" 140lbs, 36B = medium. Lots of compliments on this ... -- however not as flaterring or comfortable as the Shorebreak ...
Too tight for curves
I ordered this ... Vivid Blue in both the S and S Tall. The color and style are very pretty but unfortunately the ... too tight through the hips and butt to accommodate my curves. I am 5'8", 140, 34/36B, and usually the Small Athleta ... fit me perfectly, especially in this type of swimsuit fabric. This ... really got hung up on my hips and "booty", although it fit nicely up top. The Tall was a little more forgiving than the Regular size, but not enough for me to keep it. I think the extra material helped weigh the skirt down so there was less bunching. The top of the ... flattering and I really liked the different style of the neckline and straps. I also liked the option of being able to cross over the straps in the back. I'm disappointed this ... didn't work for me. It was so close to perfect!

I overall loved the ... am 5'4" and weigh 146 pounds, and 36A bust.. I ordered the large in regular length. The ... fit great, but was longer than I thought it would be. It came down to my knees, which is an unflattering length. I have a bit of a tummy bulge, but the fabric is forgiving. Other than the length, the ... fit great. The chest area fit very nice. I have size 42 inch hips, and the ... fit very nicely in this area also. I certainly don't have the perfect figure, but this ... seemed to hide the flaws well. The ... very well made with nice fabric that is neither too thin or too thick. I ordered the Kauai Blue color and it is a beautiful shade. I would like to exchange for a petite, but they don't have this color available in that size. I will get it altered, and it will be perfect.
top too tight for how loose the rest of the dress is
I really, really wanted to love this dress. I'm about 5'5" 138lbs and 34C. I ordered a size medium, regular length. I think this is the right size (definitely the right length, a tad above my knees). It just didn't work for me. I splurged and bought it at full price but because of that I can't justify keeping it when I don't LOVE love it. As other reviewers noted, it is meant to be a loose fitting dress. Although the fabric is not forgiving, it's loose enough to hide my flaws. The fabric is nice, I doubt it will ever wrinkle, and I feel like you could dress it up (I bought the charcoal color and actually think it's too dressy for the beach). The ... seems well made and the fabric is not too heavy for summer but not super thin either. My problem is the top. The built in bra seems adequate but seperated my ladies (as promised), which in turn made the ... fabric stretch horizontally between them. If I had a smaller chest, it would probably fit really well. I love the (vertical) pleats, I love the multiple ways you can tie the ... love the loose flow. If the top were looser, it would probably be perfect. I don't like how the only tight spots on the ... my two round breasts, with the awkward horizontal stretch between them. I tried repositioning the bra inserts, I tried repositioning the pleats to cover my breasts (instead of stopping above or halfway down them), I tried multiple ways of tying the ... tugged here and there but nothing worked. I don't think a size up is the answer because that would be way too loose everywhere else. Also, I still had "headlights" from trying the ... cold but in summer that probably wouldn't be a problem.
Sexy ...
I bought this ... wear on a tropical vacation where I wouldn't have to think about messing with a bra in the heat. The cut of the ... so flattering on the shoulders! I love it! Wow! I think it makes the ... unique and the ability to adjust the straps is wonderful. The negative: I don't understand why the cups are so thin though- it barely "thwarted headlights." I have sports bras from [@] with better "no show coverage." I'm not knocking [@], its just for the price, I would expect a better quality cup to come with the ... Thankfully they are removable, so I am replacing them with a better quality one from my sports bra. Cut is a little long, but still slightly above knee. I am 5'5" and my husband thought the length was a little long but okay. I went with the Neptune Green and it is a stunning color. I normally wear a 4/6 ... size 34c, 125 lbs and I felt the small was a great fit.
Black looks like a cocktail ...
I've been looking for a very basic black ... wear on the weekends running errands here in Florida, like a flip flop kind of ... can just be thrown on with hair in a ponytail. I thought for sure this was it and so wanted it to be. Unfortunately, the bathing suit material sheen and the unique neckline make this ... look more like a cocktail ... than an everyday ... me. I think I would look silly pairing this with flip flops. Otherwise the fit is true to size, I'm 5'-4" and weigh 139# just after having a baby and the medium fit me great. But it's going back because I don't need a cocktail ... Disappointing.
