I lived in the Whatever ... last summer so I decided to try the ... version in green. The ... fits me well (I am a fit 5'8 160 lbs and bought a size 10). I like that the waist comes a bit higher than the ... did. This ... would work well for biking or just running around town. I took it on vacation to California and it packed very well. Worth the price!

This is my first time writing a review and my first time buying clothes from Athleta (also bought low rise Dipper pant). I just received this ... absolutely love it. I am 5'6'' 122 lbs with slight curves and thin waist and ordered a 4 tall because I wanted the ... fall just below the kneecap and it turned out perfect. I could have easily used a size 2 but it did not come in tall. Therefore the 4 is slightly large but still OK, it falls at the hips but still flattering. Very nice flowing fabric, very soft and on the thinner side - good summer ... color ''khakina'' is actually darker than pictured - more like ''café au lait'' - which turns out perfect for me. Very pretty style, feminine but not too girly. The shorts are very comfy and not clingy at all. Ideal for vacation, travel, exploring cities, light hiking, running errands, etc. Only one small negative, I wish the snaps at the waist were not so bulky, but only a minor flaw. Not sure it won't wrinkle either but I'm still giving it a 5. I am now sold on Athleta, great quality and reasonable prices.

This ... first time purchase from Athleta. I was sent the wrong color and called them. They had the correct color reshipped immediately (got it in time for vacation), and I was given directions on how to print a shipping label to return the ... wrong color. I was also given a 20% discount to compensate for the error. Great service! The ... lightweight and so comfortable. I am 5'4" and a petite hits about 2 inches above my knee. Perfect length for me. This was my favorite piece of clothing for vacation as it is versatile, comfortable, and looks good with all kinds of tops. Athleta has a very happy new customer!
Best ... ever, but maybe only if you are tall or like a longer length
Bought this ... wear on beach/island vacation. It was perfect as it is flowy and light but long and stylish enough to be a proper, respectable ... often find Athleta's styling to be a bit on the dowdy side but this ... super cute. The fabric is soft and silky but with a sport vibe. Also wore it golfing yesterday and was at first disappointed that there was only a single back pocket but that turned out to be enough to easily stash four balls and I never felt them (who knows what I looked like from the back!). I've since gone back and bought more of their current colors. I found the patterns boring. Would have loved a bold chevron stripe in navy/parchment or and/or deep red. Slit side pockets on the seam would be handy. My guess is that this ... would be too long for many but for me it is a very easy wearing, comfortable, cute ... I'm 48, 5'9" and 135 lb so it hits a few inches above my knee. I wear Athleta's size 4 though I am usually a size 6 in other brands. I've been buying from Athleta for years and this is probably one of my top five favorite purchases.

Ordered this ... vacation and it quickly became my favorite thing to wear. Its light and easy, very comfortable. Looks great as a casual on the go ... but also can be dressed up a bit for dinner. I am 5'9" and 150 pounds. I order the Tall 8 and it fit perfectly. I now want to get it in every color! The ... may be longer than some would like. It fit me right at my knee, which is what I wanted.

I bought this ... wear on vacation in and around water in Utah last summer - really lightweight and cool and very fun to wear. Then I started wearing it in the studio and found I could actually wear something other than lycra to teach in - and a ... too! It quickly caught on as the favorite of our instructors and clientele.I love that it is a ... but you can sit on the grass, in a boat, hike, and teach pilates in it!

Took the Whatever ... me on vacation to the Black Hills of South Dakota as well as a lake near my husband's home town and De Smet, SD (Little House on the Prairie). It was perfect for all of our activities during those two weeks. I spent a few days doing the tourist thing - tour bus, walking around, and some hiking, as well as spending a lot of time with our kids and extended family. I was always comfortable in the ... length kept me covered up enough to be running around with kids all day and night. I usually wear a size 10 (pushing 12 after this vacation!), and it fit perfect. The back pockets were large enough for my iPhone and my knife. The only thing that really bothered me was the drawstring inside of the ... However, I was able to pull it out, and now everything is great!
Fun and Flattering!
I bought this ... vacation filled with outdoor activies and needed something functional, sporty and cute.. this ... perfect! Very comfy and flattering for my size 14-16 full curvy figure and great for outdoor activities. I am 5'5" and was worried about the length being too long (just below the knee) but it really is perfect and looks great because of the cut. Very little wrinkling after travelling, lightweight and dries very quickly after getting wet. The perfect ... just about everything! I have since bought it in two different colors. I get compliments on these ... every time I wear them. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I am always nervous to buy things without having tried them on first. I'm glad I didn't hesitate when seeing this ... has an amazing fit!! I'm 5'6'', 130lbs and I bought a size 6. The length is perfect for me, and it is not too snug anywhere. I can't wait to wear this ... vacation this summer. I hope to buy more!
Comfortable and Cute
I ordered this ... 10 day vacation I have coming up in the fall. I was looking for something that would be cute, comfortable, versatile and easy to pack. This ... meets every one of those requirements. My last experience with a ... included liner shorts that were tight and heavy. The liner in thie ... more akin to the liner in running shorts, i.e. light, breathable and flexible. I ordered two sizes (6, 8, I am 5'5", 140) to get the right fit. I was a little surprised the 6 fit so well and was going to return the 8 when it arrived. The 8 fit about the same as the 6, which is strange, but it saves me having to return it. The khaki color is my favorite. I do not like the white stitching on the black ... overmuch, but again, I don't dislike it enough to return it. If I have one complaint about the style of ... waist is higher than I am used to. Overall, I expect these ... staple of my wardrobe for years to come.
A ... fits curves!
I am 5'4", 134 lbs., and curvy. I had trouble finding a casual ... didn't make me look short and chubby. This one looks great. I am looking forward to wearing it on vacation. My only concern is that the ... arrived with wrinkles especially where it was folded, but the insructions say no ironing or dry cleaning. I hand washed and drip dried, with no luck at helping the wrinkles; then I washed it in the machine on cold, delicate, and put it in the drier on low - still, wrinkles. Finally I ironed it but put a cloth between the ... iron. This helped, but there are still some stubborn wrinkles. I hope it looks okay when on.
