Fabulous - simply fabulous
I love this ... - really. I would have one in every color! There are no fasteners even though there is a sewn in waistband. The under shorts are long enough to cover your inner thighs when you are running or walking. The cut gives it that little bouncy flounce as you move. It would also be a great beach cover to pull over your suit. Fabulous!

VERY NICE!
I like this ... because of the length. Many of the walking/running shorts are so ... feel uncomfortable wearing them. The color purple is fun, too!

Fits perfectly, looks great, and the tall is just the right length for me - not too ... All my tennis friends complimented me the first time I wore it. I was a walking advertisement for Athleta.

flattering ...
I love this ... purple color is beautiful and the cut is flattering on my body. I have only used it for Bikram yoga but I intend it for running also. The one concern I have is that the legs of the shorts tend to roll up a bit when I'm walking around. I suspect this could be problematic for running. Combined with the racine bra swim suit top, it makes a most beautiful and functional hot yoga outfit.

I finally found the best running skort! So so glad Athleta brought this one back! I love that the shorts are tight enough to not have to wear compression shorts with them! The ONLY THING is that they run big. I usually wear a medium, and exchanged them for small. AND the white ones are super cute, but the shorts part is very thin so you can see through them if you happen to forget you have hot pink underwear on! ;) Would totally recommend these to anyone, and so worth the cost!!! happy running....or walking, or wearing to the pool, or running to the store :D

This is the perfect ... golf!!!! I purchased these skorts in tall to be a bit more discreet when I golf, and it is so feminine, everyone loved it and wanted to know where I got it. Please bring this back in some bright retro florals!!!! Thank you so much Athleta for making this available in tall!!! I purchased all colors this time and will even be able to wear this fun ... around the house, walking the dogs, and riding my bike. LOVE!!!

Great Athletic Skirt
Enjoy this skirt more than I thought I would. Very feminine with the ruffles. Will probably buy in two other colors. Bought it for tennis, but will wear for gym workouts and walking as the length is appropriate and the attached ... legging underneath is very comfortable and discreet. My only worry is will the elastic banding on the legging wear out after awhile from storing tennis balls underneath?

Great for Tennis
This is exactly what I have been looking for. I wanted something to wear for tennis or walking for exercise. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs. and the small fits great.

super cute and comfy
Was looking for some feminine looking workout clothes. I cross train a LOT so I like things that I can wear running, in gym/group fitness classes, walking the dogs, trail running, cycling, tennis. LOVE this ... but would caution the mesh ... underneath is truly MESH and somewhat tranparent. NOT a good choice in group fitness when we're on the floor for crunches and our knees (or worse our feet) are high in the air. I'll probably wear panties with them for everything except long distance running when chafing is an issue and my knees should never be above my waist. Otherwise it fits great and I feel pretty wearing it. The layered skirt provides great, full range movement. I'm very petite at 5'0" and my legs aren't long and lean, I'm more gymnast built with thicker thighs. I love all these new workout skirts but they seem a little long on me - they are longer than running shorts so it makes my legs seem that much shorter (but that's me and my own self conciousness - I'm told I look fine).

Unique feminine style makes up for other, minimal flaws
Long time athlete, I wondered if the ruffled ... would be too cutsy, frivolous, or heavy/clinging for a serious workout--not at all. Feel like a million in appearance when wearing for a heavy duty gym workout. I bought asphalt and white and enjoy both colors for different reasons. I feel comfortable doing any type of work out in the asphalt but would not do anything involving turning bottom side up, e.g., yoga, in the white due to very sheer leggings. On the other hand, for walking, a casual/fun date, going to a baseball game, etc. the white is a uniquely feminine addition to my wardrobe. The leggings are a bit shorter than I anticipated, so I won't be doing any long runs in these due to riding up and leg friction but, like I said, they're great for the gym--including elliptical workouts for over an hour.
