Best summer skirt ever!
Got this in white last year and was fearful it would not return in stock because white does get dingy if you wear it pretty much all the time with T's through the summer. So now I have a new white and a black and they are my "go to" ... summer. Even though I am, ah, more than a Baby Boomer, the length of the skirt is just sassy enough to show off your legs and tan. It packs and shakes out like a dream and is still thick enough not to have see through. I hope you always make this skirt.
I would buy this ... every color!
I got the white, but debated about buying more! The white is double layered so not see through (but I don't think you could wear pink polka dotted underwear with it!) It is so comfy, fits perfect. I got a small and I am 5'9" usually a 6 and its just right.
bodega ...
This is the third Bodega ... have purchased from Athleta. I wear the other two all the time! I must say that this new one seems a little bit smaller than the other two in the overall sizing (when I hold one up to the other), but it still fits fine due to its fabulous stretch and construction. It could also be that there has been slight stretch since I've worn the heck out of the older two. I am 5'5" and weigh 110 lbs, and the petite xs is perfect. I took one of these ... along on a 6 week trip to Thailand and Cambodia and it was invaluable. I could pull it down to sit on my hips and cover my knees when we went to sacred sites or pull it up for an above the knee length. The waistband style holds your tummy in, making it quite flattering. It also machine washes and dries like a dream..you can even throw it in a low temp dryer without shrinkage. The hidden pocket in the waist is a great place to stash a key while walking or money while traveling. I bought white this time since I live in the tropics...I am also planning to get a black one! Enjoy this fantastic ...
Highly recommend this ... fitted then flares a bit above knee for nice A shaping and I love the pocket. I ordered XS Petitie for my 5'3" and 115lb frame and got this ... white and black. Athleta should offer it in more summer colors like red or royal blue with matching visor and athletic print tank it would be fabulous. LOVE IT!

I saw this ... catalog in white and bought it for my daughter whose birthday is in June but think I will probably give it to her before then. It would be a great ... travel and am looking at what color to buy for myself
Would be better in darker color
I had bought this ... medium, which was too large. I wanted the ... black, but they were sold out. I am 5'7" and 124 lbs. The size I order is usually Medium. Usually, Athleta items run tighter because they appeal to the younger people, and I am 63. However, I love the Athleta styles. I got a Small Tall so that it would be just below my knees, and the Medium was too loose. The Small Tall fits fine, the ... very comfortable, but one could see through the white material way too much. Had it been in a darker color or thicker material, I would have loved it. I wish I could have gotten it in black.

This ... super cute. I am 6"1 165, athletic pear shape and this ... so flattering in large Tall. I am normally a 10-12 and the medium would be much too small. Large is perfect. I carry weight more in my thighs than in my butt and this ... skims, without being too full or too clingy. The waistband detail is so cute and flattering. I gave it four stars only because I got the white and wish it wasn't quite as see through. It's not obscene though, just nude undies required. By the way, Athleta I could kiss you all for carrying so many tall styles! You start carrying a tall in the long sleeve tops and I'll have to start a fan club!!!
Great throw on skirt.
Love this skirt to throw on after sports or over bathingsuit. I got in white which is a little see thru. So be careful of what you have on underneath if you get the white.
Really nice material but...
just too see through for the white one. The material is so soft, I really wanted to keep it. But despite being fairly thick, it's still very see through and the clinginess of the material really showed the edges of the underwear too. If you get white, you will need a slip or boy shorts. If you get another color, great ... wear a 4-6 and got a small and it fit perfect. Stretchy enough to accomodate different sizes.
Nice but ....
I got this ... white and like the fit and feel of it however I am frustrated that in the white you can see through it. Now I'm trying to find biking or tight yoga type shorts to fit under it so that it doesn't "reveal" more than I'd like.
Overall not flattering on my frame
The ruched paneled waste band on the size small was much tighter than the Nusa rollover ... Virtue ... ruching did not line up with the seams on the front of the ... which I thought looked odd. In addition, the white would need to be worn with a slip otherwise it is very see through.
