Cute for weekend/going out
Love it; super flattering and not too "swingy" like other skirts with similiar designs; well made and bias cut well. Also cord materials is light enough to last thorugh most seasons with tights for fall/winter.

Whatever ...
I purchased 5 whatever skorts last summer and lived in them all summer. So, I decided to get the corduroy skort for winter and really like the way it fits.

Fun skirts for just about everything!
I have four of the Whenever cord skirts and just ordered another color! They have been my go to "errand running", "shopping, and "casual days about town" skirts this Fall and Winter. They pair wonderfully with tights and boots and can be dressed up or down with a long sleeve t shirt or a dressy sweater. I receive compliments on them wherever I go. Although I am petite and 5'2", I went with with an 8 regular as I am a little modest about my ... lengths, and they hit just slightly above the knee; I really love the little flare at the hem. I probably could have gone with a 6 as the waist was just slightly big. I really love this ... highly recommend it!

Cozy, feminine, beautiful
I love this ... 3rd corduroy ... I've ordered. It is a summerweight - which means that it hangs nicely and you can still layer for extra warmth (i.e., tights or leggings). Also this ... looks sexy with boots even though it's conservatively cut (A line at knee). I wear it with the belt (nice double loops). I can't figure out why athleta puts drawstrings in these skirts, but it doesn't matter. I think the ... soft, feminine, and well made. Perfect for fall/winter. I may order in the maple color as well.

feminine, preppy
I already had two of the summer skort versions of this style, and it is great. Shape is feminine, flirty, and the corduroy will last me all winter. I pair it with stockings, or knee sox for a preppy look. Goes anywhere:shopping, out to dinner, everyday running around. Bought the grey and the purple--beautiful and will wear them all fall/winter.

Great ...
i have many of the whatever skorts and wanted a winter version. This fit the bill. I run with my 3rd graders and need to wear athletic, yet teacher appropriate outfits. Athleta makes it's easy. The reviews help for sizing a lot! I am 5'8, 140 and the 10 fits fine. I do wear it on my hips, not up on my waist, as I am cut straighter not curvy.

Love it!
I own 3 of the skorts in this style. I am 5'4", 124 pounds. I ordered the 4 Tall in this because I like my winter skirts to be 23" long. The fit is perfect. The grape jam color is beautiful. Would like to own it in asphalt and black too. I especially like that on the skirts, the top stitching is tonal and not contrast stitching like it is on the skorts.

Great ... everyday
I'm 37 with 4 kids ages 16 months through 10. So I can count the number of times I've worn a ... past decade on one hand. But now that even my youngest one is getting bigger, I feel I can venture into more fun clothes again, and that means wearing skirts! I saw this Whenever Cord ... online and loved it, so I ordered a size 0 in black and it fits perfectly (I'm 5'4" and 110 pounds). The length is perfect (below my fingertips when my arms are at my sides—not too long, not too short) and there's a nice little flare action that gives it a little personality and movement. I am in love with this ... now just have to buy a pair of warm tights so I can actually wear it this winter.

Short skirts are in and this one will work great with tights and boots for winter. Very comfortable.

Cute but not for me
I'm not a ... person but I have 3 of the Whatever lighweight skorts & love them so I thought I'd try the corduroy version. I ordered a 10 & 12 & the 10 fit best but the fabric is heavier so it doesn't drape the same way. While it looked pretty cute I decided that it would probably end up hanging in the closet since I hate to wear hose/tights so rarely if ever wear skirts/dresses in the winter. However if you do like wearing skirts I would recommend this style - note that it is just about knee length!

Don''t think this fabric works with this style
I have three Whatever Skorts, love them. I like the idea of a winter version ... but this doesn't work for me. It's very wrinkled and I don't want a casual ... requires ironing. Without iron or special adjusting, it doesn't flow the way it supposed to be (like the photo showed with the model). It just sticks out and looks weird. I do like the feel of the fabric and the colors. If the same fabric is used on a more A line or narrow style ... would love to give it a try. Unfortunately I had to return this one.

Love it!
This ... exceeded my expectations. It is cute, great with my fuzzy uggs. I am 5'6"' 150lbs muscular & curvy with a smaller waist. I like my skirts mid thigh, definitely not to the knees nor below. I ordered a 10 petite and it fits great, I use a belt to tighten up the slightly loose waist. It does ride up as others said, but its ok. I have only worn it with tights, maybe it won't ride up as much without, but it is velvet, so seems more appropriate for cool weather, and that means tights!

Great ... fall!
I got this ... olive, and I'm really happy with it. It's perfect for wearing with boots in the fall and winter. I'm 5'7" tall and it is a nice length on me -- a couple inches above the knee, but not too short. I'm glad I was able to try this ... store because I don't think the photo shows how flattering it is.

Dressy ...
I have several Athleta skirts and this is the one I go to for dressy occassions. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs, waist 31, hips 39, inseam 33. The 8 petite is perfect. Yes .. 8P. I like skirts to be ~2 inches above the knee and the 8R hit my at the top of my knee. I have khakina which is a pretty gold khaki. I have a friend who has grey color and it's a beautiful grey (She is 5'9" 128 lbs and has the 4P). The material is very soft.

Fun fall / winter ...
I am excited to wear this with tights and boots this winter. Fit is perfect. Not too baggy around the waist/hip area.

Just right for winter
This ... just right for winter wear - substantial, but soft, fabric and looks great with tights and boots. I'm 5-5, 125 and ordered a 4. The waist was a bit loose, but the ... has an internal drawstring which can be used to adjust the waist to just the right size without detracting from the overall fit. The ... fits smoothly, but not tightly, over the hips. Worn somewhat below the natural waist,the ... extends right to the top of the knees. The olive is a dark olive, almost a grey brown, and goes well with a variety of tops. I particularly like skirts with pockets so I can stuff a few things in the pockets and leave a purse at home. The ... has two in the front and in the rear. I haven't yet decided whether I'll take this ... longer travels because it doesn't pack as small as some of my other skirts and just a teeny bit too informal for ultimate versatility. However, it has already become a favorite for wear at home.

My new favorite article of clothing!
I ordered this ... size 2P the day I sent back the vintage courdoroy ... 4, hoping the replacement would not only have a more tailored fit but also be a true black rather than a washed out faded dark gray. Well, this ... really exceeded my expectations! It's a beautiful quality of velvet with rich color and the perfect amount of stretch. Rather than looking very sporty, it's got classic lines that go great with tights and boots. I'm a hair under 5'6", around 140 lbs with a high waist and fairly narrow hips, athletic build, and I'm normally not a size 2 at all. But the 2P in this item is just my number--it's above the knee but not so much that the slit in the back looks trampy (it's a winter weight anyway, so I'd always wear tights under it). Therefore, a word to the wise: size down if you want it to hug your curves a bit rather than just hang there all boxy. (And you do! It's very flattering.)

This is a fabulous ... fall and winter. Like so many other reviewers, I found that one was not enough. I am 48 and don't want to waer skirts that look like I have raided my daughter's wardrobe, but I don't want grandma clothes, either. (Apologies to the active grandmas out there!) This ... perfect. I am 5'6" and 120# w/ a 27" waist, and the size 4 fits well.

Nice ...
I was looking for a winter ... could wear with boots and socks or tights. This ... fits the bill. It has stretch so I can wear it a little lower on the hips. It does make my tummy look poochier than it is, but I plan to wear the ... longer tops, so this won't be an issue for me. The length is great. I got the regular length and, at 5'2" and 108lbs, it hits just above the knee. Right where I want it, as, at 44, I don't want to go much shorter. The color, Mercury, is pretty, but I am finding it a bit tough to find colors that I like with it. I plan to make it work, though.

Velvet ... olive
I originally ordered this ... 0 as I wear 0 in all pants from Athleta. The ... way too tight. I revisited this ... sale and ordered a 2 and 4 to have the comparison and in case the 2 was still too small. When the skirts came I opened the 2 and it looked kind of big. I compared them with the 4 and there was basically no difference in the hip or waist width. The 2 was a tiny little bit shorter than the 4. I checked if maybe a 4 was put into the bag of the size 2 ... but the labels clearly said 2 and 4. Kind of strange. With this said, the 2 feels a little bit bigger than I would have thought the 2 would have to fit, but it is wearable. Could be a little bit tighter in the waist. Tried using the inside tie, but that just tightens up the string, but leaves the waistband wide which then leaves a gap between the ... your body. I wear it a little bit lower so that the waistband sits at my pelvisbone which gives me the length being right above my knee, so it's office appropraite. Wore it with microfiber tights and the ... rides up which is really annoying. Tried with a more silky material pantyhose and it is much better, but still rides up when walking fast (which I usually do). Guess I will wear a slip with it as this solves the problem completely. Would have been nice if the ... had a lining to begin with. I kept the ... despite the sizing and other issues, because I really wanted this color (it works with wardrobe pieces I have) and I got it on sale. It is a neutral piece for your wardrobe that can be worn from late summer throughout winter into spring.
