great for travel
I admit it - I bought these pants with no intention of ever doing anything remotely athletic in them; we were about to take a very long trip and I wanted something that would look good and feel comfortable the entire time we were traveling. After looking at lots of yoga pants online, I picked these because a) the fabric - I was impressed by photos of upside down women with their pants staying exactly where their pants were supposed to stay b) the reviews saying that the waistline actually sat at your waistline c) the price. I'm 5'81/2", about 165 lbs and ordered a large. The 32" length turned out to be longer than even my long legs (not too long to wear but too long for me to run in, for example); otherwise they fit perfectly. They stayed in place, they didn't lose their cling, the waistband didn't roll and I was in them for many long hours so there was plenty of time for them to disappoint me. I would not hesitate to order these pants again, I love them
Awesome pants....even for the Plus size girl!
I just got these ... they are absolutely awesome I didnt think that clothing affected my practice but after wearing less quality ... after wearing these...it DOES matter. I love them and now I am replacing all of y yoga wear with these ... AWESOME!!
size up if you are pear shaped
I love these pants once i found the correct size.. I purchased the capris in an xs and they fit well but when i purchased the XSP in the pants they were way too tight.. I am 5' 2", athletic build but am more pear shaped and have a bigger butt and thighs so I had to buy the SP which are way more comfortable and not so tight.. The petite length was perfect for me with running shoes but im pretty petite.. For reference if you are looking at other ... athleta and you are my size and shape type, I needed an xs petite in the Betonia ... kick booty ... but a small petite in these... and yes they really do repel dog hair and lint too
Love them!
I waited a while to buy these for some reason... kept them sitting in my online shopping cart. Had I known how comfortable they would be, I would have purchased them long ago. Strangely enough, the post that pushed me to finally buy was the one that mentioned that her dog's hair didn't cling to them. I keep my house clean, however my malamute's hair just seems to find my black clothing. These ... AWESOME! So comfortable, fit true to size, and repel dog hair (added bonus :D )
WORTH THE MONEY
These ... were highly recommended to me by an acquaintance. I hesitated spending that much money on one pair of fitness ... work hard for my money but don't want to "invest" in junk. I'm glad I bought these! They're form fitting fitness ... so if you don't feel comfortable in form fitting clothing you won't feel comfortable in these. They're true to size. I generally wear anywhere from a 6-10 in ... but hover around a size 8. I ordered a medium and the fit is perfect. I have always had a "booty" and it shows in these ... But it also shows in every pair of ... I've ever worn. However, these ... thick enough that no dimples show through. The ... also skim over your curves and problem areas. There's no bunching. However, they do pick up lint and animal hair like crazy and aren't as dark black as I'd like them to be. All in all, they're the best fitness ... I've ever worn and I can't wait to buy another pair.
I DO live in these!
These are my all time favorite pants...so comfortable and attractive. I'm 5' 4'' and 130 with a very athletic build. Last season's medium are perfect. I heard they're longer this year, so just ordered a M petite. I just wish I could wear them to work.
Too much flare
I'm 4'11", 125#, athletic build, curvy through hips and thighs. These pants accentuated my thighs by hugging my knees and flaring at the feet. I prefer a staighter leg--like the Kickbooty Pant--all time fave.
Love these ...
Love how these ... fit. I have an athletic build and was concerned that a size Small would be too tight, but the fit was just right. Definitely plan to purchase a couple more pairs.
Hmm, quality seems to be different
I have bought 6 pairs of the Chaturanga ... three different colors since discovering them a few years back and they've been wonderful for working out, doing yoga and just living in everyday! I particularly liked the original Chaturanga black ... material that were shiny on the outside and of heavy quality, they were nice to wear everywhere, to work and to the gym. They had a dressy feel to them, unfortunately this material has been discontinued according to the company for some time now. Recently I bought two more pairs of the Chaturange style and have to say that the quality is different. The material is thinner and now seems to pill, which is something my other chaturanga ... didn't do. I also noticed the stitch seam on the outside seems to fray easily now on the new ... Overall the quality seems to have gone down, this is a shame because these are a great style of ... am 5' 6'' and weigh 155lbs and wear a medium. I have an athletic build (narrow hips) and they fit perfectly, the length comes almost to the bottom of my sneaker. For the price I hope they'll improve upon the quality.
Love the pants, hate the fabric
At first glance these are perfect- lightweight for the gym, and flattering on the booty. Even with bikini briefs I couldn't see a panty line while standing up (in the black pants). The rise is a touch high, but good for staying in place during yoga/ fitness classes. These were really comforable. I am 30 years old, 5'9", 170 lbs, athletic, and pear shaped and the medium fits perfectly. The length was great too. However, I am glad I tried to do a few moves in these in front of the mirror. Just bending down to touch my toes pulled the material so much that you could see the design on my underwear clearly through the fabric. Even with solid dark bottoms, you could easily see the underwear the second I bent over or did downward dog. These went back beause I already have a pair of black bootcut workout pants from Zella that I love, and I didn't want a second pair that could only be worn sans undies.
