SO CUTE!
I consider myself a "casual lifestyle-runner" - meaning I'm pretty faithful in my runs, but I'm not all that fast and I don't run very far very often. But as far as keeping healthy and getting a little time alone, I love it. I'm always looking for running clothes that will be both practical (cool and comfy) AND cute. These do both! I originally ordered the turquoise ish pair. When I got them and ran with them, I was sold on it and ordered the purple as well. I'm 5'6'', 128 lbs, curvy hips and butt. Originally, I followed all the advice I'd read in the reviews and ordered a size smaller, but I ended up exchanging them for my normal size. Honestly, the waist sizing isn't that different between a small and a medium, but I didn't love the feeling of the elastic squeezing on the small. I want the option of wearing them around the house as well as running, and these are perfect for it. Mmm mmm-mmmmmm. Cutie!

Best running ... ever!
I just ran in these ... today for the first time, and I absolutely love them. I got an XXS for my petite, 5'2", 104lb frame and it is like the ... were sewed for me. I have such a hard time finding clothes that are small enough, yet not slickeddown tight. These are flowy, and cool, and the waistband is tight without being noticeabley tight, if that makes sense. AND they come in cute colors!! Once again, Athleta, I heart you!

great shorts - blow NIKE out of the competiton
I've always worn NIKE running shorts, primarily because even though I am 5'8 and weigh 138 lbs. I can't wear most running shorts out there on the market. They are incredibly small...in fact, most running shorts are sized for only those ... under 120lbs, no matter what your fitness level. NIKE shorts are roomy and look good so I've been a pretty loyal customer...that is until I tried these shorts. They are also roomy, but look slimming on, move great when you run, don't bunch up or pull,, and they are really really cute! I am a new convert!

Outrageously comfortable!
I love these shorts so much, I had to get them in three colors. They are so comfortable, I find myself wearing them around the house- and I am extremely picky about my comfy clothes! A great find! Very lightweight but still substantial.

Finally, a decent running short
I admit, I'm not the size 4, 110lb typical athletic clothes connoisseur, but I do like to run and I live in a hot humid environment so require performance peices in my wardrobe. I'm squash shaped (wider than average in the waist but not an apple). When I purchased these ... could say "Finally a pair a ... not made to ... Barbie (or Skipper)!" I'll be keeping both pairs I ordered - cute, comfortable, light, and dries quickly. Pefect for Okinawa summers!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
These are my new favorite running shorts!! I have worn the Nike track tempo shorts for years to run and thought I'd give these a try b/c I liked the cute design on the shorts. As a VERY picky running clothes person, I was pleasantly surprised at how great these shorts are--not too long or short, don't ride up--overall my new favorite. I am a size 8-10 and always buy a Large in the Nike track tempo shirts b/c I hate things tight on my waist when I run. The L in these shorts fits the same--can't wait to order in other colors!

Good looking, great performing shorts
Love the fabric, love the fit. Love the graphics!! Still do not understand why women's clothing is not allowed to have pockets. Would love to find some running shorts that could hold a key AND a music player or phone. Maybe 2 key sized pockets?? These are great for running, and I agree with others that the fabric is super smooth and does not chafe.

Can''t figure out Athleta''s sizing!
I am just starting to buy things from Athleta, and I can't figure out what my "normal size" is. I normally wear a 0P in clothes (I am 5'1", 100 lbs). I have the swift zip skort in a 0 and it fits perfectly (and I love it). Based on the reviews, I ordered the XXS in these shorts, but they are (only slightly) too small. But if I get the next size up, I think they will be too long (they are pretty long shorts) and possibly also too big. So these are going back!

These ... AWESOME!!!! I find that consulting the reviews is the best way to determine if a particular piece of apparel is right for me! Athleta, you have found a niche in the market in terms of women's apparel. The ... great quality, the reviews are the best shopping consultant anyone could hope for, and your customer service is top notch. I was a little concerned when I got these and saw the liner as the picture shows them over tights. After trying them on I fell in love, they are soft, comfortable and the cut couldn't have been measured any better for me. One additional plus is my husband finds me irresistible when they are on. Thanks!!

Absolutely Love these ...
These are my new favorite ... am a personal trainer and live in workout clothes. These ... fantastic. They ... perfectly and are very light. I ran 14 miles in them after I got them and they were the most comfortable ... have ever ran in! MUST BUY in my book!

I have become a runner and appreciate that Athleta offers fun, unique gear. I am 5'8', 125lbs: slim & fit...my street clothes are size 2, my Athleta size is XS, I bought the XS and the ... perfectly. Love the colors, love the ... hate the attached panty. Hey, Athleta: it should offer a bit more coverage!

Cute ...
Sweet boyfriend bought me some new ... clothes for a race and I picked the Stability ... Kauai Blue. I am 5'8", 142 and pretty athletic. I love the feel of this ... blue color is very fresh. It has green stitching so the green Victory Top completes the outfit. The side panels make for comfy ... but I will say that I found them to be a wee bit loose in the bottom. I ordered a medium and usually wear an 8-10. I don't think I could have worn a small and the drawstring in the waist is a help. All in all, I am very pleased and will order in another color.

Comfortable, but disliked appearance
Specifically, that in the pink color I ordered I could see the line from the built in briefs. But the waist ... comfortable, so I think sizing up would be too big. Sending them back and sticking with ... some other specialty women's athleticwear brands.
