Can''t get enough of these
I'm 5'6", weigh 115lbs, with an athletic build. I ordered these pants in black in size 0 and wore them a ton! They are stylish capris that can be used for hiking, commuter biking, and general hanging out. They are comfortable and versatile. Really, they are very cool! However, they shrunk gradually with each consecutive wash but because of the stretch, they still work. It's important to note that my weight did NOT change, nor did other clothes change fit! I ordered a second pair in size 2 (first time ever with Athleta clothing), which are a little big, but I'm looking forward to them gradually shrinking as well...but I refuse to go up to a size 4!

Perfect Capris
I wear these capris on my daily walk....cool enough for hot weather and long enough for cooler days. They are perfect for all casual weekend and after work activities...shapely but not skin tight, The look like cool clothes and feel like comfy workout clothes. Eliminates the need for separate sets of "public" and work out clothes. I've just ordered two additional pairs in other colors. The zippered pockets are a real plus. I probably should have ordered a size 6. I am 5'7" and about 136 lbs. I don't like things too constricting but the size 8 waist is on the loose side. I have ordered the extra pairs in size 6. These are stretchy enough that I bet the size 6 will be ideal.

Perfect
I am 5'0" and 95lbs, so I do have difficulty finding clothes that fit perfect. These do. I first ordered a 2 and sent them back for a 0. They are great! Comfy and great for traveling. Definitely want to buy another pair. I plan to use them for ... hiking.

Love the capris
They are light weight and cool. Because I'm curvy, I usually have problems with clothes fitting but not with these. They were just right. My only question has to do with the drawstring. I'm not sure I can explain it. The pants have a button tab on the inside waistband and a hook/eye closer on the outside. If you use the drawstring, it interferes with the button and hook/eye combo.

Bought the commuter capri's in my normal size and also a size larger. Ended up with the larger sizeso I think the clothes may run smalller than most. BUT...very, very comfortable and worth the price.

Love the fit! I purchased a black skort last summer and ended up ordering the white one as well. This skort is great for walking, hiking or just running errands. It is long enough so it doesn't look like work out clothes. I ordered 2 more skorts for this summer. I don't like to wear shorts. This skort functions as shorts but looks a lot nicer.

really pleased
I have been buying skorts for various golf outings and general summer sportiness. This skort is fantastic. Very forgiving, doesn't bunch. Yes, it's a thicker material, but it's just fine for golf, which is what I use it for. I loved the one I bought so much, I just bought another one.

This skort is also great for golf. The zippered pocket is perfect for holding tees and golf balls. The length is perfect....I'll probably even wear it to church!

Nice workout skort
I started wearing the Sienna Skorts from athleta a few years ago for spin classes at my gym. Those are no longer available (bring them back!!), so I am on the lookout for something similar. This skort isn't really that simlar, but it works for spin. I am 6' tall, and ordered the tall size. It is long enough to actually wear as a regular skirt out and about, and cute enough too. I probably could have just gotten the regular length, as I really only wear these for the gym, but this would be a great skort for someone who likes to wear workout clothes around town as well. I still prefer my sienna's, but this was a close second for spin. It didn't ride up, didn't get caught on the seat, and the material is very durable feeling.

Perfect Business Casual Skirt
A review of this skirt suggested purchasing long, rather than regular, for a more professional look. Excellent advise! I'm 5'6' tall; the skirt hits just at the knee. The hidden lycra short gives a smooth look and great coverage. I'm a real estate appraiser needing practical professional clothes which allow for bending and climbing. Perfect! I just ordered two more. I notice plus sizes are available. The slimming appearance would probably work well on all figure types.

Bought this with the fairway shirt...LOVE it! Played 18 holes, no rubbing, very comfy. And thank you for making it a little shorter than all of the old lady golf clothes out there. OMG! Young people with nice legs golf too...So comfy, I wear this even when I'm not golfing. Would be great for tennis too. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Skort!
This skort is great! I originally purchased for golf and general activewear. It will be great for both. It has a very nice compression short beneath that does not ride up. I ordered both the gray and the black in a XLT. I am 5'8", athletic build, and carry extra weight (about 25 pounds)--generally wear 14 in street clothes

cute comfy
I got this ... wear for everyday activities since they seem to always end up being active. I hate having to change clothes mid day and this ... keeps me from having to do that. Its comfortable and the wicking fabric keeps me dry even on a long hike with the dogs. Its not too short so I can still look good walking around town or to the grocery store. I love it.

Finally, something to wear for golf that fits the 00 set!
This skort is the perfect solution for golf attire in XXS sizes! Until now, I've resorted to shopping in the youth boys section for golf shorts. It's great to be able to wear these on the course and feel a bit more feminine! Super fit, great fabric, very comfortable, and the skort washes well.

Just too long if you''re short!!
I wanted to love these judging by the comments and they were just too long for 5"3" me. I didn't want to send back because I love the quality of Athleta clothing so I tried to shrink them. Good news, Athleta clothes don't shrink but didn't help here. I will have to have them hemmed but know they will last for years to come!!

What''s not to love!
I love this ... have 3 different colors now). Whenever I wear it, I get compliments on how it looks and questions on where I got it. Perfect for hot summer days as it breathes very well. The only thing I would add is a front pocket so I have a place to put my extra ... balls when I am golfing. I am between sizes, so my regular size feels a little big, but the waist tie helps to keep everything in place. I tried a size smaller, and it was just a bit too snug in the hips. I like the longer length as it is very versatile. I am 5'6", weigh 139, have a 27" waist and 39" hips. Size 8 works best for me.

Great ...
I am a beginning golfer, but was invited to play with my boyfriend's family (who take ... very seriously!) and wanted to at least look the part. I got this ... Bermuda Blue and couldn't have been happier with its performance! It was really hot out, but I was so comfortable the whole time. The shorts underneath were just the right length and didn't ride or chafe at all, while the ... stayed nice and smooth...even though it was hot and sweaty out, I came back without a wrinkle! I would definitely recommend this for kicking around in--throw it on over the weekend and you won't need to take it off, whether hiking, biking, golfing, this one can do it all! Think I'll order myself another!

Feminine Comfort!
I don't dress as feminine as I'd like because womens ... usually so uncomfortable and cumbersome. But these skorts are perfect. I feel totally comfortable and look like a girl again. And behold, they even come in sizes I can wear after having a baby. And the material feels wonderful, soft and nicely weighted. Oh, and unlike the other skorts, this one covers my knees!

I love this ... purhcased it to wear for golfing. Most ... too big for me and some skorts are too short for golfing. This is the perfect length.

Cute ...
This ... very cute, but I went golfing with it and realized there are no pockets. It's hard to ... without pockets, so I wouldn't recommend for that activity. However, it is great for biking around town and walking.

Fits Like a Glove, Great for Golf!
I read many positive reviews of this skort before purchasing and I must say that I LOVE this item. It fits me perfectly. I'm 5'2" and generally a size 6-8 on bottoms. I got the 8P b/c the length would be a little shorter. I bought it for golf and it is so comfortable and flattering that I will order more colors. I do not typically like to buy "golf clothes" for ... b/c I don't like the fit (too long, doesn't fit well in waist or hips). I do not have much of a waist and this skort hit me just above my hips. The built in bike shorts keep it all together. I haven't purchased a piece of activewear this awesome in a long time.

Great skirt
This skirt fits well. I've worn it around town, and to play golf. The length is good (short,but not too short), and it is fitted without being tight. I agree with other reviewers that the buckle in the back is pointless, but it doesn't cause any fit problems or look that weird. Also, the drawstring seems a little silly (if you cinched the waist, it would give the skirt an awful fit), but if you buy the skirt small enough to fit well, you don't need it. This skirt runs somewhere between "true to size" and "a little big"". I liked this skirt well enough to go back and buy another color!

the skort is perfect for golf. i tend to be a size 2 or sometimes a 4 and started with size 4 incorrectly. ended with the size 2, a perfect fit. looks good hopefully i will love wearing it.

I ordered this skort for golf, but will certainly wear it anywhere. Very flattering. I ordered a 4, which is what I wear in the Dipper pant, and I found the waist to be a little big in the skort. Looking for the perfect belt. :)

Perfect Skort
Love this skort! I had no issue with the buckle in the back. Wore this to my son's baseball tournament and received many compliments. It was very comfortable and cool. The length is a little longer than most skorts but perfect for every day wear. I got the blue color which was very pretty. I bought the size 8 and there was plenty of room all over. I had to use the drawstring in the waist to tighten a little I am 5'4" & 145 lbs. I have ordered another color I liked it so much!!! Can easily see me playing my next golf game in this skort.

cute skort; ok fit
this is my 3rd athleta skirt and I primarily buy these for golf. This style is nice because it is a great length. This skort is fairly large in the waist compared to my other similar skort from last year. I'm keeping it, I just dont like how it will sit lower on my waist and my belly might show when I swing a club. It bunches up below the pocket, like another reviewer mentioned. I am curvy (size two waist, size 4 butt) so I have problems like this with other clothes quite frequently. I love the fabric; not too clingy, doesn't wrinkle.

Cute
I bought the skirt for golf and it will work great. However, I agree with another reviewer that the design of the belt loop in the back is actually pulling the skirt up. I wish there is a way to get rid of that loop. I'm keeping the skirt because it is very comfortable and looks very practical for golf.

the skort was great. i bought it to golf in, but the shorts underneath rode up most of the day, had to pull and tug to "put them back in place" when i would get out of the golf cart. maybe lycra material would stay put a little better? next time i wear my skort, i am cutting out the shorts!

I thought I would like this skort for golf. I bought it in the same size as the Whatever Skort, but it ran smaller and shorter in the crotch so I returned it. I probably needed the regular rather than the petite. Also, it was a little too low waisted for me for golf.

Amazing "Color Purple" Skirt
Love this flirty. flare skirt and the color, the most gorgeous, luscious purple I have seen anywhere. I was immediately drawn to the color when the skirt arrived and then I tried it on and magical...the fit, well:perfecto! I am 5'10" and the size 6 is the best fit for me. I intend to wear it with an olive green sweater and am also looking for other colors to compliment. I enjoy that I can wear these heavier skirts here in California with my boots and bare legs. When I travel back to the Midwest in January I intend to just add heavy tights and still enjoy my fun little cordoroy skirt. Thank you Athleta for making clothes that really fit, are not too revealing and have just the right amount of athletic and everyday balance!

Amazing fall skirt
I ordered this as an after thought with a bunch of other fall clothes. I was a little tentative because I have not had the best luck with sizing from Athleta before - but the skirt looked sooo cute. Anyway, when it arrived it was far better than I expected. The corduroy is so unbelievable soft. I ordered the 8, even though I am usually a 4/6, because of the way other things have fit from here before. The skirt is a little on the big size, and I probably could have got the 6, but I really did not want it to sit too high or be too tight. with it a little big, it sits on my hips the way I like. I can not wait to wear this this fall! It is a beautiful skirt!

Great skirt for everyday
I'm 37 with 4 kids ages 16 months through 10. So I can count the number of times I've worn a skirt in the past decade on one hand. But now that even my youngest one is getting bigger, I feel I can venture into more fun clothes again, and that means wearing skirts! I saw this Whenever Cord Skirt online and loved it, so I ordered a size 0 in black and it fits perfectly (I'm 5'4" and 110 pounds). The length is perfect (below my fingertips when my arms are at my sides—not too long, not too short) and there's a nice little flare action that gives it a little personality and movement. I am in love with this skirt and now just have to buy a pair of warm tights so I can actually wear it this winter.

I have the summer version and loved the fit and feel. The cord skirt is also nice but seems to run a little bigger. Perhaps it is the material difference. They both have a string tie sooo tightening them up is easy. I like to feel comfortable without looking frumpy. Athleta clothes allow a great design for functional and fashionable!!

A Workmanlike Skirt
I think I will wear this skirt a lot. It's cute without being precious, and fits my simple minimalist style. I bought it in Tapendade, which was a greener green than the picture led me to think, not so olive green, but it is still a nice earthy shade, not too bright. The material is soft, not too stiff, so although the construction of the skirt's gores makes it flare out a bit, this is not obnoxious. The garment appears to be sturdy and well made, and has a waistband lined in a different material. A lot of commenters had varied opinions about the fit of this skirt, and I was in some doubt about what size to order. For other people in this situation, here's is some help: I am 5'6 and about 137, a moderately fit, not particularly curvy 44-year old, and I ordered an 8, which was by no means too small. I probably could have fit into the 6, but I hate feel confined by my clothes and I wanted to have room to wear leggings under it in winter. The interior drawstring is handy in adjusting the waist. There is a tendency for the skirt to get twisted around while I am walking, though.

Love it!
The skirt (as well as everything else I've ordered from Athleta) fits like a dream. It is a medium to lighter weight skirt perfect for tights in the winter and great by it's self in spring and fall!! I must say that Athleta is the first place I've found that the clothes fit "real" people. I am 5'10" and a solid, athletically built 154lbs at 39 yrs of age. I am thrilled that there are stylish, dare I say, cute clothes at the ready for ... like to be on the move. YAY! Athleta!!

I love this skirt. It is flattering and super comfortable. Make sure to look at the size chart for Athleta. These clothes run a size or two smaller than GAP. Their sizing chart is true to their word and I'm glad that I looked at it first.

perfect with boots
I am 5'9, 140 lbs. and size 8 great, at first I thought it was too big in the waist, because it would be without the draw string. I am new with Athleta but I can tell that it where i will get all my causual active clothes from now on. I got the velvet skirt and a dress also. Can't wait to wear them!! I am in uniform dailly so am looking forward to day off!!

Love it!
I am a teacher, so, when shopping for clothes, I need something I can wear comfortably, throw in the washer without much thought, and can wear to church on Sundays. These skirts hit the mark in all areas. I can dress them up or down. They are neither too long, nor too short. If I could change one thing it would be to make them lined on the inside, so they don't crawl up when walking at a fast pace. Other than that, they are super!!!

Inconsistent sizing...AGAIN
Athleta offers some very cute clothes, but I have found that their sizing is sooo inconsistent! It's impossible to know what size to order. I have returned most of what I have bought for this reason. This particular skirt was SUPPOSED to measure 21" in length, however when I measured it - 19", the petite length. Too short so had to send it back- again. I don't think I will be ordering any more. Very disappointing.

Flattering and great for ... too!
Just once, I would like to NOT like something in your catalogue. Just once I would like to send something back! I LOVE everything you have!!! It is a problem, possibly an addiction. These clothes are made for me and my lifestyle. Back to the ... So cute, and so great for wearing everywhere. I do not wear it running, I am not a skirt runner. However, I bought it for ... because most ... clothing out there is not very flattering, cute, or comfortable. This ... all of the above! Put it in your ... section too! I wear it for everyday activities too!

LOVE THIS ...
The picture of the ... cute, and I was pleasantly surprised whn it arrived. It was darling! I'm an active ... like to run errands, or just hang out in athletic clothes. Usually, I wear yoga pants, but I wanted something different for spring and Summer. this is it. Lightweight, but substantial fabric. Length is about halfway between hip and knee. Good for me, because at 5' 3", skorts are usually too long .It would be great for running or tennis. I bought purple and black and love both colors.

A little big
I really like this skirt. It seemed to run a little big on me. I had to return my usual size that I get in all Athleta clothes and order a size smaller.

Great, but a bit roomy
I love these types of skorts, esp. in the 80+ weather this summer has brought, but I would have liked a smaller size as the 4 is still quite roomy (so I guess I'd say it runs big), and a 2 isn't available. But I kept it as it is still very usable: I'm a Fitness Professional, thus live in these types of clothes so I'm very fussy.

Fun, flirty ...
This skirt is absolutely adorable! It is a cute twist on the standard issue a line running ... love the detail of the pleats and the light weight fabric. The black mesh shorts are nice too as sometimes the white linings can be a little revealing after a sweaty run. The only reason it did not get 5 starts as the under shorts ride up on me j(ust like all linings do) but since they are so thin it isn’t really a bother. I am 5'5' and 138 lbs. I usually order an Athleta medium for my running bottoms as I like my skorts and shorts to be a little more forgiving than my day to-day clothes. I do have to say this is a large medium (esp. in the waist) so I could have gone with a small but I kept it anyway because I didn't want to wait to jazz up my blah winter treadmill runs. I will probably buy another one in a different color based on how this ... performed overall.

I bought a Med as that is what I usually wear with Nike tennis clothes. This skirt is more like a large in that brand. It is a well made skirt and really liked the length, I have long legs and so many tennis skirts are so short.
