Great active wear!
Love this top! This is definitely a technical tank - fabric is a stretchy, porous "active" material made for wicking and breathing. I probably wouldn't wear it with casual clothes because the fabric is really athletic wear, but looks great with cute yoga pants or ... working out. Especially great for running because of the two large, deep pockets in the back for storing gear/cell phone/ipod/etc.
Great plus size workout clothing
Yay for Athleta! Finally a company that has cool workout ... plus sized ... great colors. The PR top is great for my daily ... workouts and I look forward to trying your other plus sized tops as well. Thanks so much for energizing my workout!
Plenty long but WAY too tight in the chest
I ordered this PR tank in the size I should wear according to the size charts. The elastic band on the bottom of the bra was so tight, I could barely get it on or off, let alone breath. I was really dissappointed considering these tanks come in Tall - Tall workout clothes are hard to find. The color was beautiful and the quality was really nice but I recommend ordering one size up since the bottom band on the bra runs so small.
Sausage Casing
Sadly, this tank is going back. The Petunia Pop color is beautiful and the bra top fits perfectly and provides ample support for high impact exercise. I love this top from the rib cage up. I'm 5'3" 121 lb and ordered the small. This top is waaayyyyy too long for me. It is a very skinny top that hits mid thigh on me. The effect is a long and skinny sausage casing that shows every bump and curve. I have tried ... capri tights, and a skort on with the top and can't find a bottom that works at all. In each case, the waistband/drawstring are clearly visible (and unflattering) through the shirt. I'm a pretty fit person and feel confident in most Athleta workout clothes... but this one makes me feel like I need to lose another 15-20 lb.
Disappointed
After admiring Athleta's clothes in the catalog for many months, I finally decided to make a purchase, even thought the prices were higher than what I normally like to spend on myself. I figured if I loved the clothes, I would keep them. I'm sending this shirt back. It was so tight in the waist, and the fabric felt heavy to me.
