I am so excited to finally get this ... agree with previous reviews that they run larger in size so would recommend ordering at least 1/2 size smaller. If you have large calf's these are the boots for you. I tried on so many boots last Fall and could not find any that actually fit, I have 17.5 " calf circumference. I thought these boots might be the ones and I was right. The straps are adjustable and there is lots of give . These boots are pricey but hard to come by as they seem to never be in stock so if you are eyeing them up and see your size (1/2 smaller than what you would typically buy) I say grab them!
Amazing comfortable -- like wearing slippers!
I'd been eyeing these boots for months before ordering them. They kept selling out, but when the Nero color came back in stock, I pounded on them. I am almost always a 7 1/2 in shoes and sometimes I go up to 8 in boots, but I followed the advice of previous reviewers and ordered down to a size 7 -- which fits perfectly! These are so comfortable that they seriously feel like slippers on! I wore them to work all day yesterday (I teach, so I'm on my feet all day), and they required no break in time. The top slit that others have talked about is no problem since it stays shut with the buckles. Also, a previous reviewer had mentioned that these rub on the ankles; mine did on the right ... until I adjusted the straps. Years ago, I had a pair of Born Mary Janes that I wore into the ground (I had them for about six years, and wore them several times a week), and these boots seem equally well made. These ... seriously amazing! Get them if you can!
I love these ... first received them i tried them on to discover how you should read all reviews before purchasing anything b/c all the reviews about them being too big were all true. I was afraid that by the time I would order a half a size smaller they would not be available, but they were available, so I was happy for that. Very comfortable!!! Very cute with skirts! You could probably hike in these babies!! Worth every penny!
Fit me fine
I have been watching these boots for months b/c, as many other reviews state, they were never in my size. I finally called customer service one day and they actually had a 7 but it didn't show online. (Sorry customer service. You might get inundated!) I wasn't sure what size to get b/c so many reviews said they ran large. I stuck w/my traditional 7 and was SO HAPPY I did! They fit me fine. There is a little extra room, I suppose, but it gives me room to wear a slightly thicker sock. These boots are soooooooo comfortable. They are worth it! My only issue is that I wore them w/white cords the other day and the suede of the boots was pilling off on my pants. I suppose this might only be a problem w/the two suede boots. They are amazing and I got many compliments the first day I wore them! Great boots!
