Great Shoes
These shoes are great! I tore them out of the box and immediately began wearing them. They are my new favorite shoes for outdoor activities. I did not even feel as though I needed to break them in.

I''m looking forward to using it at outdoor!
I have a plan to go to Corsica Island in France for 2 weeks with my boyfriend and I have plenty of chance to get it water (river, ponds etc.) during hiking at GR20. I have relatively wider foot and this water shoes have very wide size, so I'm very comfortable to put it on with bare foot. If you have narrow foots, you may feel it's loose shoes, but you may be able to tighten up with adjustable string.

These shoes are gorgeous and very cute. I would not wear them without socks. They run a bit big and wide. The straps dont adjust, just the top one, that was disappointing since the ... bit big and wide. I wear thick socks and enjoy these gorgeous shoes.

Super cute, but destroyed the top of my foot! :(
I was sooooo excited when these shoes arrived. At last I thought I had found a super cute slip on and go ... provides comfort, style and practicality. I have to say that I was sadly dissapointed. After wearing them for the first hour, the tops of my feet became very irritated and itchy. I took them off and found the elastic stringing had dug into the top of my foot (and remained this way even after adjusting them). The end result were very painful abrasions that took about a week to heal. My foot is of average size and width, so I am sure I can't be the only one to have had this problem. I sadly had to return them. They were intended to be my essential walking+ ... my summer holiday in Europe, but alas, it just wasn't meant to be!

Worth every penny but pull out the INSERT!!
Super concealed cardboard insert comes with the boots and makes them feel too tight...it was actually difficult to pull it out of each boot! Until I found it I thought I had ordered the wrong size (size 9 my usual) Once I did the boots fit like heaven - be sure to remove yours lest you send them back complaining that they are too narrow or too stiff. I got them on sale 30%off and still this is the most I have ever spent on shoes ( I thought my Vibrams were expensive) but these boots are worth it. Don't go to a department store and pay [$] for a pair of Candies boots that are cute but hurt your feet - like I did before I found these.

THIS BOOT IS AWESOME
Okay I dont like Uggs - I think most of them are "ugg"ly! But not these. They are soo cute. I generally wear a size 7 but from the reviews ordered an 8 and glad I did. They fit perfect and dont look huge on my feet. They are narrower than lets say my running shoes but the fit is great. You just might not be able to get your thick wool socks under them but I think that is just fine since they are super warm as they are. I ordered in brown and I think I am going to go for the camel color too. They are expensive but totally worth it and look good with anything from a dress to jeans to tights. These might even wind up in bed with me some nights! Okay, maybe not but I just love them!

almost perfect
These boots are incredibly comfortable and warm. I run after my toddler all day, and I'm excited I can wear heels at the same time. The sweater detail is cute. My only qualm is that they're hard to get on and off, sometimes removing my socks in the process. I wish the zipper went all the way to the top, and that I didn't have to mess with the ties... oh well, close enough, I just don't wear them places I have to take my shoes off. As others have mentioned, these boots are marked up on this site - I bought them with a Black Friday coupon to compensate.

hip and unique
These boots are hip and comfortable. I have a couple other pairs of OTBT shoes, which I love. I ordered the 81/2, my regular size, but they were too large and had to send them back for an 8. The exchange/return experience is so easy with Athleta, thank you! These boots do have a high price point, however, they are quite unique which made buying them totally worth it!

Kicking It Boots
From the get go these have really been the all around fun to dress up for the town or down for a hike in the mountains. In sizes I would tell you go your next size up for sock room but if you wear thin socks go for your street size in what you would wear in most shoes. They don't make your feet look big, but they make heads turn, get a lot of looks,worth the price.OTBT these are my first pair from you guys, but you'll have me coming back for more shoes from you guys. I love these dudes and they are great for any occasion.

Great boot!!
LOVE these boots!!!! By the time I got around to ordering them, they were on backorder. But, once they became available, I re ordered & am thrilled to get them!!!! I normally wear a size 10, but have been buying a lot of shoes in a 9 1/2, I ordered the Clinton's in a 10 because they are a pull on boot. The 10 is perfect! The only down side to these boots is that the buckle "jingles" & everyone can hear you coming. But, it is on a velcro strap, so it can be easily removed. Athleta NEVER disappoints!!! If you're thinking of getting these boots, act fast!!! They won't last long!

I''m loving it..
I am very happy with the choice, I have size 11 and wear flats.. Not all the shoes fit me, but those boots are so comfy and they look great.. B/c the don't have a zipper the look great around the legs not too big especially if you have long skinny legs:)

I had to return a pair because I couldn't get one ... most bizarre thing. Ultimately, I tried on TONS of boots but these were the first that I actually found comfortable. I wear tennis shoes all the time and needed an alternative that wouldn't drive me nuts. Enter Clinton Boot. :)

On the beaten track
The boots are fabulous. I am going to get me pair in the black. The only thing I will have to agree with another reviewer is that jingle....the men hear me walking down the hallway. It is a noisy thing. However, the boot is very comfortable. I am flatfooted and have a hard time fitting shoes, boots or any other kind of ... don't think the material is the best. I mean, the ... could have cost a little less than what it cost based on the material. I have paid a great deal for cowboy boots and don't mind it, if it is worth it. Now, the boot could be a little taller also. I still like them. I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10 and I purchased the ten. I wear ankle socks on top of my hose/tights or ankle socks on top of my knee socks. Run a little big.

cute but not much leather
I agree with another reviewer about these shoes being cute, but they may as well be faux with the small amount of thin leather that they are made with. But I am so picky I didn't like the look of any other boots, so it was worth it. The cool thing is these boots look good with yoga pants- not alot of boots can pull that off. Also, remember that these are pull on boots, thin at the ankle, so it's a bit difficult to get them on the outside of pants if that's your thing. Overall I am very happy with them for their comfort and look.

Great design, poor construction
These boots could be really great, but they are not worth the price. If the quality of the materials (the leather, the synthetic strip, and the rubber on the sole) were better, they would be worth it. The boots look much nicer in the photo than in real life[...]I ordered these boots in a 6, and they are much longer than most size 6s (I own a lot of shoes). On the up side, my calves (app. 13.5 inches around) actually fit in these boots without discomfort. Unfortunately, I'll be sending them back and continuing my search for the perfect boots.

Don''t bother
I loved the look of these boots, and have been disappointed with my purchase. I've been wearing the boots for around 4 months now, and here are the big issues. The grip on the soles has completely worn off, the stitching is fraying at the back seam and at the toe. And the leather at the creases where my toe moves has gone from black to white, so they need polishing often or they look weird. I also had initial problems pulling on the boots, and discovered when I removed the double insoles inside and put in my own Dr Scholl inserts I could get them on with no problem. What a shame! For the price of these boots I am rather disappointed, and will not be buying this brand of shoes again.

dissapointed
I wanted to love these boots so much, but the quality wasn't there, especially for the price that they are. I only wore them 3 times, and the stiching on top of the foot started coming apart. the footbed wasn't very comfortable, my right foot got very sore in the them. The buckles are quite loud when walk as well which gets annoying. I have very slender legs and usually find that boots are loose on me in the calf, but these were very tight on me, definitely couldn't get much more than tights in there. And they were difficult to get off without having a zipper. So imagine going to a friend's or family's house to visit and taking your shoes off at the door - you would have to just about sit on the ground to be able to pull them off and everytime the sock comes with it - just dissapointing! had to send back. Went with the tsubos instead and I am so much happier with them, and incredibly comfortable!

Amazing comfortable -- like wearing slippers!
I'd been eyeing these boots for months before ordering them. They kept selling out, but when the Nero color came back in stock, I pounded on them. I am almost always a 7 1/2 in shoes and sometimes I go up to 8 in boots, but I followed the advice of previous reviewers and ordered down to a size 7 -- which fits perfectly! These are so comfortable that they seriously feel like slippers on! I wore them to work all day yesterday (I teach, so I'm on my feet all day), and they required no break in time. The top slit that others have talked about is no problem since it stays shut with the buckles. Also, a previous reviewer had mentioned that these rub on the ankles; mine did on the right boot, until I adjusted the straps. Years ago, I had a pair of Born Mary Janes that I wore into the ground (I had them for about six years, and wore them several times a week), and these boots seem equally well made. These boots are seriously amazing! Get them if you can!

These boots are awesome!
I bought these boots in a size 10 (the size I wear in all shoes) and they fit great! I was worried about how they would fit in the calf. I do not have big calves and some boots leave a lot of space between the boot and my calf. These boots fit perfectly - not too loose or tight in the calf. I bought them in black and love the leather. They are going to look super cute with the dresses I bought from Athleta too!

great boots
I really love these boots. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I usually get sore feet from anything but tennis shoes, but I walked all around the mall in these and they felt great. I bought the grey ones and they look great with everything. I highly recommend them.

greatest boots ever
I have been looking for that 'great' pair of boot this season and finally found them here. The first time I wore them they went from work at 7 am to an evening out until midnight. I was nervous that I may end up with a blister or sore feet, esp after the first wear. It was like wearing running shoes all day. My feet felt great and I received a lot of compliments on the boots. I love them!
