These truly are the best ... me: At 5'7"; athletic 135-145 (depending!), with hips and a bum, long waist and a flat tummy, the size 8 fits perfectly. They are VERY flattering, and even though they are form fitting, there's still room to wear a thin layer of long underwear on those below 20-25 deg. days, or when the wind is kicking up. Given the thickness of the material and the fleecy lining, I generally find that they're warm enough on their own. Even though they aren't technically waterproof, I've never found that to be an issue and I haven't had any problem with them riding too low, as mentioned below. The 2011/2012 version seem to fit as well as the 2010/2011 ones that I've bought before, but I haven't tested them out yet. I bought this year's in black and dark gray, but returned the dark gray, only because the color didn't really do it for me. Other than that, I can't say enough good things about them. I often get complements on these ... asked where I bought them, and I really enjoy them for their functionality and style-- something a bit different from the usual!

rock my socks
Feels amazing, very high quality and well built. 5'1", 100lbs and got the P2 in gray. Been looking for a warm, high quality petite ... high and low every outdoor brand I could get my hands on. Finally came across these. They are slightly big all around, wish they had a P0 available as it would probably fit me perfectly! Still, the best fitting ... I've found and worth every penny. In love with the gray, in love with the button detailing. So warm. Highly recommend. Thank you Athleta!

Love ''em!
these ... rock. wore them on the slopes. they were comfortable and so cute! I went w 4 instead of 6P because I was worried they'd be too short w ... boots, but they're a little bit long. I also wore a layer underneath b/c I didn't want to risk being cold, but probably could've gone w/o. a perfect fit and a perfect pair of ... thanks Athleta!

Great ... skiing
I've been looking for a pair of ... actually flatter, instead of the shapeless puffy ... I'd been wearing. These ... totally fit the bill! I am 5'2" and 122 lbs and the 4P fit perfectly, with room for a base layer if it is really cold out. The waist is slightly big and the rise is a little lower than I like, but I just tucked in my base layer top, and that solved both issues. I wore them skiing twice- I was worried my legs would be cold because I forgot to bring a thin layer to wear underneath, but I was pretty comfortable. I would recommend a thin base layer only for temps below 20 degrees. Love these ...

Great winter ...
I have a pair I bought a few years ago, that I love and wear when I go on a ... vacation. I wanted a black pair and these couldn't have come at a better time. With the wind storms, we lost power for 7 days. Our house was hovering around 45 degrees and I lived in these ... Then took them to Germany on a business trip and as it was winter there, they were perfect!

Great ... Pants
These ... great! I have an older pair from Athleta but thought I should have something new for a trip out west. The fabric of the new pair is a bit thicker wich will be nice on cold ... days. These fit great for a petitie gal! Thank goodness Athleta carries ... wear for petites. The length is great and the waist not to big, the rise is fine not too low as to let snow up your back!

long ... finally!
I have been looking for several years for ... long enough. ( have a 32 inch inseam.) I am very pleased with the overall fit and comfort of these ... Next week I will try them out on the slopes! Hopefully they will be warm enough. I am excited that I will look stylish in my new ...

Love them - but go tall if you are long legged!
I love these. All the reviews (good ones) are correct in my book. I always order an 8, but in Athleta sometimes have to go to a 6 or S. 5.7, 140 - and these ... great, however I'm short waisted and long legs and wish they were a tad longer. I like my ... long and as you know with ... boots they'll be just fine as is. They sit a bit low, but not too low (I don't really have a butt so the waist fits just fine. I think if you are curvy and have a small waist and bigger booty these might gap as I've seen others say). I'd grab them while they are cheap! They are very flattering!

My husband loves these
I wasn't sure what to order because I needed a ... long enough. I am 5"11" and weigh 145 pounds. I ordered the 6 and wasn't sure if they should be looser. My husband was adamant that I keep them. I haven't worn them skiing or in the snow yet, so I can't say how waterproof and warm they are. However, they are comfortable and apparently flattering.

Great Fit but Lack Ski Functionality
First and foremost, I LOVE the fit of Athleta's ski pants. You cannot beat it--at 5' 8" 120, Athleta ski pants fit me perfect (I get the 4 tall so they don't shrink up my ... boots). I've purchased several styles over the years. Every time I come back to this style, however, I am reminded that whoever designed these was not a skier. They lack two practical ... requisites--first, the bottom sides of the pants snap, which is completely useless on a cold snowing day--snow sticks in the snaps and it's impossible to get them closed. I fumble with them constantly. Hence they are warm weather ... pants only (Athleta, change the snaps to something that can easily be closed on stormy days, please). Second, there is absolutely nowhere on these pants to attach a ... ticket. I can't believe that part was forgotten. So even if they're my warm weather ... pants, the fact is on warm weather days I'm often shedding layers and want my ticket attached to my pants. No can do. Great fit, Athleta--just make sure an avid skier tests out your pants every time first. :)

Start Over with the Design
Whoever designed these ... looking more at style than form or function. And I bet they don't live in the north where we get really cold winters (sometimes). First of all, the waist band is too low in the back. And because I can't get it tight enough to hug my body, everytime I bend at the waist, a portion of my back is exposed to the cold. I do like the eleastic draw cord inside that attempts to tighten the waist by synching up on buttons. But it's just not enough. Another place I get cold drafts is in the legs because there is such a wide bottom on the ... (bell bottom). This allows cold air to find its way to my legs. I was really hoping for one pair of ... could wear outside in northern Michigan in the winter to cross country ... hike, or snowshoe without having to wear lots of bulky layers. But I didn't get that with these ... Not only are they not as warm as I wanted, the size isn't right either. I am typically a size 8 and I guess I should have bought a size 6. I'm 5'6" tall, fairly well porportioned (not too long in the torso or legs) and weigh about 140 lbs. These ... too long for me and too big in the waist. Frankly, I'm disappointed in the purchase and I probably should have returned them. I'm always yanking them up in the back waist to cover more of my back (even tucking in top layers doesn't work because these are so low.)
