Absolutely love these!
I skied in these pants all season and never regretted spending the money once I got over the initial shock of footing the bill. I wear a base layer underneath and have never been too cold though I skied some VERY windy days in Breck this year. I love the vents and ... them open most of the time. I wear a size 10 in pretty much all of my jeans. I bought these in size 10 and am very happy with the fit. Some people say they have issues with the clasp, but I had no problems at all. While the snap does pop open on big wipe outs, the hook keeps them intact, which is all I could ask for. I skiied 12 days in them and cross country skied 2 days, and still love them. I wash them every other ... trip (I hang to dry) and they hold up well. Some of the decorative thread is coming loose, but other than that they are good. I hear some funny comments in lift lines ("I can't believe she's skiing in jeans..."), but also tons of compliments. I feel great in them and happy with my investment.

Awesome!
These are absolutely awesome ... They're stylish and functional. I've worn them for downhill skiing, snowshoeing, and lots of XC ... fabric is water resistant but not totally waterproof (my backside did get a little wet sliding down a frozen river) but it's definitely more than adequate for most activities. The fleece lining is soft and warm. I'm 5'7", 127 and have a size 6 which is a little big (I have the waist velcro adjusted pretty small). But the ... still really flattering and leave me plenty of room to layer underneath with some long underwear and still have room to move/stretch/bend. The jean styling is really, really cute for a quick run to the grocery after ...

Awesome Snow Jean
These jeans are fantastic. Fit is perfect, the fabric high quality, and the technology of the jean is perfect for ... weather, walking in the mountains during winter months where I live, and for skiing. I tried to get this jean last year and missed it so ordered early this year and love love love!!! I had purchased another high end brand of ... jean" that look like a denim but are slick warm up type ... pant at three times the price. These are so much better in appearance, style and comfort. You will love these jeans. The quality is quite special.

function and fashion
5'5-135 lbs, Usually a 30/31 inseam, small hips- muscle thighs. The size 4 petite fits niclely (6p was way too big) with plenty of room for thermals underneath. Skiing big mountains in very cold snowy conditions. Very fun ... pant. Warm and repellent. Well made. The only complaint is the back is a little low and I have to were a belt and I still will get snow inside while skiing powder without my ... jacket powder skirt snapped, but babies got back! I will still were them and enjoy them.

Great addition to my ... gear!
Wanted these great ... pants last year 'cause they looked cool, missed out and ordered early this time around. Now I know they will do more than just look like great jeans...While I haven't tested on the mountain yet (come on, Winter!) I did try them on with my jacket, long underwear, and ... boots and did some simulated "shredding" in my living room to see how they moved and feel they performed well. The size 6 fit is perfect for my 5"6", 138lb average size frame, and still allows a skin layer underneath without looking or feeling too tight. (I ordered a size 8 as well but returned them - far too large for me). The zippered cuffs and internal gator fit snug to my ... boot, but still allow good motion. Lower front leg pockets will come in handy for stashing cash and possibly a snack. The indigo dye did slightly blue my hands, so I just soaked them in cold water, air dried, and then spray treated with additional waterproofing (we have 'wet' snow here so this is customary at the start of the season) and the bluing is gone. My boyfriend likes the way they make my butt look...always good as I leave him in the dust on the hill! I'd highly recommend these high quality ... pants -- made in Switzerland where they KNOW skiing.

Great Idea!
Love these snow pants that look like jeans. It's extremely difficult to find petite ... pants that fit, without alteration! The rise is a little lower than I expected, especially in the snow. The waist is a little loose too, but the side velcro cinch fabric helps. The only real flaw, and somewhat major, is the front closure. It has a slide lock, and although being very careful, it still broke on my first day out. Was able to repair it. but not sure if it will hold. For future versions, i'd recommend a regular snap... If you think about being in ... boots, having layers on and possibly gloves, having to worry about the slide lock closure is a bit ridiculous! They are great though and kept me warm and dry skiing all day!

Adorable but not functional
Have been wanting these pants since last year, but too expensive. Finally purchased on Black Friday with 30% discount. Im 5' 2" 120. Big hips and thighs. Ordered both size 4P and 6P initially. The 6P was gigantic. 4P was roomy in the rear and thighs but that's ok since I get cold easily when I ski and usually wear heavy/thick long underwear. However, the waist is much too big. Sent the 6P back and decided to order a 2P. The 2P fits great...once I get them on. I have to really wiggle to get them over my hips, but once I do, the waist, butt and thighs fit well. However, I will have to wear only lighter weight long underwear with the 2P. Was a tough decision on whether to keep the 2P or 4P. Went skiing at Xmas and wore the 2P. They were very comfortable, but I did get cold (and it wasnt that cold of a ski day - low 30's). Also, I found the low rise to be a problem. I carefully tucked in my top layers, but still, sitting on chair lifts, there was a gap between my jacket and the pant waist and I got very cold. I really want to like these pants because they're so cute, but these may be strictly spring skiing pants for me. And, they may be too pricey for just a spring ski pant. Also, as short as I am, the Petitie length is just barely long enough. I may order a 2 regular and see if that helps with the low rise problem. I dont understand why anyone would design a ... pant with such a low rise - completely impractical.
Way too big
I was very excited to get these ski pants. I thought I would update my ski outfit. Sadly, I was extremely disappointed when they arrived because they were HUGE. My husband held them up to himself and they were too big for him. And this was a size women's 0! I even made a trip to the store to make sure they were not mis marked. They were not. They told me they don't fit anyone unless you are extremely hippy (and if that's the case, you fit into a much smaller size than you would usually wear). I hope Athleta remakes these pants next year with a more true to size fit. To be fair, I am small (5ft 2, 98lbs), but some other XS or XXS and Os at Athelta do fit me.
Cute Pants but POOR POOR POOR QUALITY!
These pants just arrived in the mail. I ordered two sizes to see which fit better. The pants are really cute on, but on BOTH pairs, before I even put them on, the top snap popped/broke/pulled off the waistband of the pants. ON BOTH PAIRS. I buy clothing all the time from Athleta and usually trust the quality. Everything else about this pant looks like it is high quality...but for the waistband snap to break and pull off before they are even worn? Really? Not worth the money. I wouldn't want to take these pants on a ... trip and have it happen to me.
