Very cute
Wanted this last year but they sold out really fast so as soon as the summer line came out I ordered one. I am 5'5" and 128. I normally wear size 6-8 so medium sizes in skirts can be questionable. I would say this fits on the lower side of medium (more like a true 8) and I don't like things tight so it fit perfectly. Got white as I figured it would go with any new suit I buy for this year. Can't wait for the beach!

Got Hips? Ruffles? No Fear...
I was worried about the ruffles as I have hips and a behind but this ... adorable. It is long enough to cover flaws. I got the asphalt color and matched it with the Rio Cast Away Racer back top in Asphalt and it matches perfectly! I ordered the Medium and I normally wear an 8-10 in swimwear and I am 138 pounds. The best part is it did not cling so tight as to show my saddlebags as most do. I purchased the solid, shirred, full tide bottoms in asphalt and they do not cut into my thigh and fully cover my behind. I have tried shorts, other skirts, etc. and this has been the best for me. I love it and cannot wait to wear it over and over again. Washes well too!

Cute over suit
I originally purchased this in a small and promptly exchanged it for the medium. I usually wear a small in Athleta skirts but for a beach cover up, I wanted the waist to sit more at my hips. The small was perfect if I was going to wear it at my waist but the medium was exactly the fit to sit at my hips without digging in. I'm 5'6", 125# and do NOT have a curvy figure. I just got back from Jamaica and used this ... everyday to slip on for heading to the pool, bar or restrooms.

Cute coverup
The ... cute, will look great over lots of suites and seems to run true to size. I got a S, I am 5'6 and 120lbs. It fits more at your waist then on your hip than swim skirts so if that is the fit you like I'd size up. Would give it 4 stars but I don't really like the tie and the material wrinkles really easy.

Flirt ... has so many uses
I ordered this ... wear to the gym over my straight legged gym pants. It is so cute, short enough to cover but not too long to look frumpy. The fabric is very light so it doesn't weigh you down. I have only used it for low to medium impact since I had foot surgery and can't run right now but it doesn't seem to work up on the waist like some skirts do. I am 5'41/2" and weigh 124 lb. I have a small waist so the tie is good. I normally wear a 4 but the Small which is a 4/6 does work with the waist tie. I like the flirt ... so much that I have ordered other colors. I intend to wear it this summer with mid calf leggings while riding my cruise bike and for other outdoor activities. I am in my 50's, very fit, but don't like to wear short skirts anymore so this ... leggings is really cute. I also intend to wear the white ... over my bathing suit to cover my legs a little. I think this ... going to be one of my favorite pieces of clothing!

Fun skirts for just about everything!
I have four of the Whenever cord skirts and just ordered another color! They have been my go to "errand running", "shopping, and "casual days about town" skirts this Fall and Winter. They pair wonderfully with tights and boots and can be dressed up or down with a long sleeve t shirt or a dressy sweater. I receive compliments on them wherever I go. Although I am petite and 5'2", I went with with an 8 regular as I am a little modest about my ... lengths, and they hit just slightly above the knee; I really love the little flare at the hem. I probably could have gone with a 6 as the waist was just slightly big. I really love this ... highly recommend it!

Darling ...
This is my 2nd one and I just love these skirts. The fit is perfect, and the colors are great. Soft cordorouy, nicer flare at bottom, very comfortable and stylish! Want one in every color.

Love it!
I own 3 of the skorts in this style. I am 5'4", 124 pounds. I ordered the 4 Tall in this because I like my winter skirts to be 23" long. The fit is perfect. The grape jam color is beautiful. Would like to own it in asphalt and black too. I especially like that on the skirts, the top stitching is tonal and not contrast stitching like it is on the skorts.

Great casual ...
I have two of these skirts - my husband bought me the green (Tapenade) one last year and I bought the Fieldstone color this fall. This is a great casual ... - very comfortable. I am 5'8", 150 pounds and usually wear a 10 or 12 in jeans/pants/skirts, size M in athleta skirts and L in athleta workout pants. I have this ... both a 12 [...] and 10 - the 10 fits much better, so I would say this ... very true to size. I can still wear the 12 no problem by just cinching up the drawcord at the waist, it's just a little looser, which doesn't matter that much with this ...

Cute ...
I am 5'5" 112#, 25" waist, 36" hips. I bought a size 2 because I wear leggings under my skirts in the fall and was worried the ... would sit tight on my hips if I bought a 0. The ... fits over the leggings fine, but does cling a bit to the leggings while walking, so a silky lining would be nice. It is a little large in the waist and while the drawstring is a nice idea, once you tie it you have this lump at your waist from it being tied. But if you knot it to avoid the lump of a bow, then it's too hard to untie later. I think Athleta would do better to mimic the adjustable waist idea that some manufacturers put in children's clothing, rather than a drawstring. The ... flares out cute, I personally like the flounce. It makes it different from most of the other corduroy skirts I've seen. It's a nice length. The material is lightweight, which makes it tend to wrinkle easily in the back after sitting. But, it is a very cute ... running around town in and quite comfortable. I've gotten several compliments.

Fun, modest, and comfortable
I haven't been able to find attractive, comfortable knee length skirts in any of the malls and stores in my area. I work in a business casual environment, and this ... exactly what I was looking for as part of my daily wardrobe. I'm 5'5" with an hourglass shape (read: full thighs), and was hoping for comfortable and modest skirts that had some style or visual interest. The flared/ruffled stitching of the ... very attractive and visually appealing, yet provides room for movement and comfort in a way that a pencil ... just doesn't for my build. I ordered an 8 regular and it fit perfectly.

Cute but not for me
I'm not a ... person but I have 3 of the Whatever lighweight skorts & love them so I thought I'd try the corduroy version. I ordered a 10 & 12 & the 10 fit best but the fabric is heavier so it doesn't drape the same way. While it looked pretty cute I decided that it would probably end up hanging in the closet since I hate to wear hose/tights so rarely if ever wear skirts/dresses in the winter. However if you do like wearing skirts I would recommend this style - note that it is just about knee length!

Just didn''t like the style
I like these fine, soft corduroy skirts and was hoping this and the Cordoba ... would work for me, but neither looked very good. I just didn't like how they puffed out. Side profile looked like I had 10 extra pounds on. So I had to return it. I got the Small and I'm 5 foot 5 and about 115-120 lbs. It fit fine in the waist, it just didn't look good from a side profile. I wish the snaps would lay flatter too, because on the side profile they kind of stick out a bit. Sadly, it is going back.

Not What I Expected
I ordered two of the cord skirts because I love the 'Whenever' skorts so much. Unfortunately, I need to return both cord skirts. They are not as flattering on me probably due to the fabric. They wrinkle, cling and the fabric is very thin for the price. This will not keep me from ordering other items in the future though. I just love this line of clothes!

perfect
Best ... Athleta. I am 5'3" 119 lbs and ordered the petite small. It fits perfectly and lands just above the knee. The Athleta skirts that fold over at the top become such a nuisance because they need adjusting throughout the day. This one is perfect....so I ordered in two more colors.

AWESOME ...
I ordered 4 of the Bodega skirts to choose size and color - I am 5'8" and wear a 4 to 6. Opened the package and LOVED the softness and weight of the fabric. Put it on and LOVED it even more. This ... my go to for everyday running around, travel, etc. I am keeping the two smalls and giving the Xsmalls to my sister. I would highly recommend this ...

LOVE this ...
I bought this ... both the olive and asphalt. I am keeping them both! I LOVE them! I must point, however, I'm keeping the THIRD skirts I ordered. I had to return the first two skirts due to size. I'm 5'9" and 125 lbs. (slender build, long legs). I originally ordered size Tall/Small. The ... entirely too long and loose, so I exchanged it for a Regular/Small. The regular small was still too big, so I ordered the regular XS, and it was a perfect fit! In a nutshell, unless you are REALLY tall, I recommend the regular length and one size smaller than your usual. Still giving it 5 stars because I love the soft fabric and fit. These skirts will be a staple this summer!

Extreme comfort, soft material
This ... just like the reviews i read. i had been coveting this ... year and finally purchased it in the dark green. It's super soft and comfortable. i love the cut; A line. Very flattering. Like the previous reviews i read - it's very forgiving in the waistline. The waist line folds over or can be adjusted by wearing it low on the hips, at the waist, etc. i'd love to get this ... other colors. i just purchased it and have worn it several times, already. i'd rather wear skirts than shorts. i'm 5'9" about 186lbs. and ordered the size 14. Trying to lose weight so i'll stick to this one ... hopefully be order this in a smaller size. i'm 54 yrs old - some people would say that the ... too short for my age - the length comes about 3 inches above my knees which is a tiny bit longer than the shorts that i wear. i like it. i appreciate the honest reviews that i read on products as that's how i decide to purchase or not. The difference in wearing this ... rather than shorts is i have to be careful bending over or getting out of a car or truck! That's alright, i can handle it, as i really do prefer skirts! And this material is heavenly.

all around perfect wardrobe staple
Fabric is incredibly soft and drapes figure gracefully. No need to wear slip. Ideal for hot weather paired with sandals. I feel ready to go from church to the beach in the Bodega. Ordered tanks in same fabric and skirts in other colors. I have been on the look out for skirts, which are terribly hard to find in stores and catalogs, especially for petites. My daughters are already trying to steal these!

Super cute and comfy!
I usually don't pay this much for skirts, but prefer wearing skirts to shorts during the summer, and love the style of this. The fabric was a bit more casual than I was expecting (more like a worn in T shirt), but it holds its shape well and is so soft. As for sizing, I ordered the small petite, and it fits perfectly for my 5'4", 115-pound frame. The fabric is a bit clingy and does show panty lines (even with a slip underneath), so just be aware of that. Also, I wore a slip under it the first time I wore it to see if that would hide the panty lines, but the fabric is so thick that you don't need one. Love this ... may order another!

Love this ...
This ... looks very good although I did some creative sizing to get what I wanted. I'm 5'5", 110 lbs and athletic, but have a smaller waist/larger hip ratio. I have a couple pairs of pants and skirts from Athleta in size 4 regular that are a little snug in the butt/upper thighs yet a little loose in the waist. I ordered the Bodega ... petite XS as I wanted the ... hit a couple of inches above the knee in order to show the bottom of the quad (which it does). The waist is nice and snug, and the fabric flows out and drapes nicely around my hips without being clingy, showing saddlebags, or looking like I've got a hoop ... checked the measurements on several other skirts, but the Bodega had the biggest difference in the waist (29.5 inches) to high hip (35.25 inches) of the skirts I checked. I've just ordered two more.

I have this same ... another color and wore it a lot last summer. The ... just bought is a bit shorter and I do like the longer length but will get a lot of use out of this one. These skirts are great for traveling as they can be pulled out of a suitcase and worn. I can dress them up or wear them for everyday. I have given up wearing shorts in the summers and gone to wearing skirts thanks to you!!

great ...
Have several of these skirts. The regular was a little longer than I like, so I ordered the next ones in petite and the length is perfect! About an inch above the knee. Live in these all summer long they are so comfortable and cool. They are great for every day run around, I wear them on trails, and I can pair a dressy top with one for church. The only negative is the price! Athleta over charges for their products. That is why I gave it four stars. I am 5' 7" and 130 LB and a small petite fits perfect! Not tight at all!

I own two of these skirts - one in black and the other in cranberry. They are super comfy and cute. I feel sorry that guys can't wear skirts like this!

I wanted to like this...
I love Athleta dresses and skirts but this one went back. The fabric is a little thin. I was hoping it would be more like the old Nusa that for some reason they don't sell anymore... it's just a bit thinner but enough so I felt like it wouldn't stand up to wearings and washings. I bought the maroonish color and that was fine. Athleta... please do more everyday skirts. Can't get enough of those pull on and go styles!
