women's tops and support tops - reviews

Favorite ...
I own 4 of these ... (they always have new, fabulous colors!). The size small fits me perfect, I'm 5'8", 135lb, 36-27-39. This is my favorite ... - the support is excellent (I'm a small B cup- I don't require an additional sports bra), and I've never had an issue with these rising up my waist. I layer this ... under long sleeve ... jackets in the winter. The only issue I've had with this ... doesn't always "thwart the headlights"... other than that this is the perfect functioning ...

favorite workout support ...
This is the third PR ... I've bought, and the color is just as beautiful and flattering as the others. I'm very impressed with the support that this ... offers. I am an XXS petite, but I am a 32D, so it is difficult to find support ... can use for my intense workouts. This works great for every single one of my classes, whether I'm jumping around or doing yoga. It's long enough to cover my torso without being too long, and it is very comfortable, and easy to get on and off. Highly recommend it.

Best workout ... ever!
I have never written a review for a product on any site, but I love these tops so much, I had to write one. I own 3 of these ... they are my go to ... absolutely love the rear pockets - it's a perfect spot for a smartphone while running or in the gym. Please put more of these pockets in your ... no other company makes them! I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, 34B. I usually order a small in Athleta ... but I sized up on this one and mediums fit me great.

Perfect fit for the tall ...
Love this ... I'm 5' 10", 135 lbs, small B Cup, with a long torso, and a small belly pooch under my belly button. I normally have a hard time finding workout gear made for tall ... affordable and has great quality. Athleta is now my new source for finding the clothes I need to practice yoga, go running, walk my dogs, or hike for hours through the forrest. The ... material is soft and durable. I like that the ... stays in place while I practice yoga and doesn't ride up my belly. I will be shopping for many more Tall Women's Athleta gear from now on.

My new favorite running ...
This shirt has exceeded my expectations. It's longer than usual bra ... which makes it more comfortable for higher impact sports. The bra is more supportive than any other bra ... have purchased - this is the first bra ... can wear on a run without additional support. The side pockets are deep enough that I do not worry about items bouncing out during a run. I was initially worried that they do not have closures on the pockets - but, it hasn't been an issue. The fabric is thicker than typical running ... but the back mesh venting keeps me cool. Buy this shirt. I may buy 5 more.

Fantastic when it''s warm out!
This was my second support ... purchase from Athleta. My first one, the Va Va ... great, but a little low cut for inverted yoga poses. This PR ... certainly solved that problem - the neckline is much more covering. The fabric was silky smooth and breathed well. The straps had a little padding for comfort and the support was great. I did a short run with no extra support and was comfortable. With 32DD chest, I don't do this often. BTW, I purchased an XS. The length kept it from riding up, and the pockets were discrete, but secure enough for small, non expensive items. Great place to put gels for a run. My only real complaint is that the headlight coverage is inadequate for me. Now, I will say it is much more coverage than just two thin pieces of spandex/lycra, but it is less than Athleta's usual removable cups they feature in some support ... dresses. So while the headlights were "dimmed," there was still too much contour visibility for me. I don't know if I'm comfortable enough to teach yoga in this ... - and it's got great support without another bra. So, I'm searching through other ... trying to decide if this one is the best fit for me or not.

I love the changes
I love that the changed the pr ... season. The pockets are no longer sitting on your love handles, just properly position on your front side. This ... gives me the most support out of all the performance ... without wearing a bra. 38D (with tummy). I own 1 of the previous style and 2 of this one. I also just purchased a printed energy ... Athleta needs to make more high impact support ... larger breasted ...

Great colour, does the job
I bought this ... mainly because I loved the colour and how it combined with the short as pictured. I am 5 4 and am 34D so find that if things are tight it tends to be in the bust. As other reviewers have described this is tight in the bust. However I don't mind this as I feel I have good support when exercising. There is a technique to getting into it without getting tangled which I have now mastered. This said I have noticed I reach for my ... without the support ... just want to get going, so it is still a bit of a wrestle to get it on. Once on I find it really comfortable, feel great in it, and find it stays in place while running. The fabric doesn't tend to show perspiration marks as some do. The medial placements of the straps, butterfly back and no need for a bra makes this a very comfortable ... hot days. I bought the medium. Despite some of the drawbacks i think it looks great and am happy with it.

Tri ...
This is officially my new tri ... ordered the green colored ... bright and cheerful. I wore it for the first time under my wetsuit at a triathlon this year. It was comfortable and flattering. It comes with adequate support. It is a little more loose and flowy as compared to my other tri ... which makes it slightly more comfortable and flattering. I have a long torso and it did not ride up, and kept me covered on the cycle portion. I chose not to wear this ... my most recent tri because I did not wear my wet suit, and I was concerned the flowy ness of the ... would cause too much drag on the swim. Overall, I love this ... very functional. It is the closest thing i've found to a good tri ... Athleta - which they really should give more options!

Great ... but defective
This ... fits better than most Athleta ... I've ordered. I'm 5'4", 123 lbs, 34C and the small was just right. I'm short waisted and this ... hits me at the hip so it might be too short for taller ... color is very pretty, and the lime lining was a nice surprise (too bad it doesn't show). It has more substantial support and coverage than a normal shelf bra (but not as much as a built in bra) so I'd wear it for weight training or yoga but I'd need another bra underneath for running. Love the pockets on the back. My only complaint is that it's not stitched correctly at the neckline so the elastic and fabric are twisted right in front and won't lay flat. For this price, it should be very well made. I haven't decided if I'll exchange it or just return it.

I wanted to love it but....
Overall this is a nice ... decent support even for larger breasted ... but I have a couple of issues with it: 1) although it has an unlined built in bra instead of a liner the thickness is about the same as a liner. I could wear a wet white t shirt and have less show through than I did in this ... did not order it in white). I ordered medium, which is what I usually wear in Athleta ... but for me to wear this ... public I would have to wear a bra under it and, while the medium is a good fit, it is not loose enough to add a bra. 2) In the catalog the ... looks like it is slightly flared at the bottom, which would make you think it is a little looser in the waist and over the hips but in reality it is not. This is a very form fitting ... little longer, which you would expect if it were flared but it isn't flared. This is fine for tall and/or long waisted people but doesn't lay in a flattering way for shorter people (I am 5'2"). The idea of this ... good and for the right body type it is probably a great ... am sorry it didn't work for me.
