love the length!
This ... such a great length! I am just under six feet tall and hate having my sweaters tease the top of my waistband. No more breeze gap for me! Love the handy zip pockets and hood.

I finally gave in and bought it
Okay, I thought it was too expensive and tried to talk myself out of this ... weeks. But I wanted to own a long ... looked good and I could throw on over leggings, skinny jeans or whatever when I really don't want to show my rear end to the general public. In other words, when there is no time for a belt and spanks and yada yada yada. This is it. It's exactly that. It's pretty, not frumpy. I was a bit concerned about frumpy baggy sweaters. Covers my tush. Can't wait to add boots to the equation. One note: these guys aren't exactly speedy Gonzales on the shipping and I do think this ... $25 too expensive.

Best ... my closet!
Love this ... actually went to the Fashion Island store to try on several of the sweaters before purchasing this one. I found that the quality of this ... surpassed all the others. I ended up ordering online since I needed time to decide on the color. I purchased the olive color, the purple was a little too vibrant and grey a littlle dull. I am 5ft. 8 " and weigh 120 lbs. the extra small fits perfect! Hugs you in all the right places. I usually wear size small but find this particular ... ran 1/2 size larger than the others I tried on. Greatest buy for this season.

So Happy!
I love this ... am 5' 11" and I can never find shirts or sweaters with long enough sleeves, but this one is perfect. The sleeves are long and the length is perfect. Very lightweight but warm.

Different than pictured, much nicer in person
I was really worried about ordering this since it looked a little like granny's old ... online. I was wrong. Very figure flattering and cute. Looks great on my daughter and my middle aged self. I always wear a small in jackets or zip front sweaters and sometimes worry if it will fit my upper half since I wear a 34DDD. I usually wear a medium in tops, large in workout tops, and medium in pants if that helps. It's stretchy, so don't be afraid to order a size down. I ordered this in the olive expecting it to be more brownish like other olive things from athleta. The color is half the earth green (see drishti dress for a good example) and half olive mixed and has small purple squares mixed into the pattern at the end of the sleeves and at the bottom (very subtle and almost didn't notice). It's very warm and heavy and well made. If only it came in black.

Great fit and knit is worth $$
Love the fit, design and quality of this ... I'm 5'5", 123 lbs, an A cup and the XS fits perfectly with a thin layer underneath and either leggings or skinny jeans. Also love the zippered pockets and two way front zipper! Athleta - keep making sweaters, jackets and vests with two way zippers....they're there for those who love em and no need to use them if you don't love em...win win!

Warm, comfortable, soft enough and stylish, too.
This was definitely one of my favorite sweaters of the winter. After reading some of the reviews, I expected it to be really scratchy. It's not "supersoft" like cashmere, but it's not a canvas sack, either. I wear it over clothes, though with a light, long sleeves shirt and tights it works very well as a heavy ... dress. It's got handy pockets that stay fairly flat even though there's always something in them (tissues, money etc.). It's really warm and cozy, yet figure flattering, too. It is an understated ... though, so don't expect to be grabbing the spotlight wearing it. It is constructed well. The double zipper sometimes needs an extra few seconds to close, but I think it's worth having the double zipper option.

Love it !
When I opened my package it was a love from the first sight. This ... lovely in fit and design as well. I hope there will be more great sweaters like this in the future and I will definitely buy it again.

love this ...
I rarely write reviews for products, but I had to for this ... read the reviews prior to buying it and I was a little worried about the itchy factor. I received it, tried it on and it is not too itchy for me and I am often bothered by wool sweaters. I recently went on an overnight trip and wore the weater to and from my destination. It looked great with slim jeans, kept me warm and was super comfortable. I LOVE this ... would wear it every day if I could!

Pretty ... little Big
This is a beautiful ... worth the price. Its looks great with black leggins and I ordered the salomon boots (UMA 2) and they look so cute together. The sleeves are a little long and it runs just a little large. Since sweaters tend to expand, I am exchanging it for an extra small. Love this item.

Not perfect
I coveted this ... finally splurged as a birthday present to myself. I'm glad I got it. It is functional, attractive, and true to size, but I don't love it as much as I thought I would. Agree with another reviewer who noted it is not flattering to those of us with hips and butt--especially when zipped. This is partly due to the bulk of the unnecessary pockets and partly due to the shape and way the ... hangs. I have taken to only wearing it open. It would be better with some kind of a defined waist and more pronounced a line down from there (contrary to the photo, it hangs straight). Secondly, the contrasting cuffs and hem are a slightly different weight from the material of the body, which causes them to pucker and flip out here and there in an odd way. Kind of makes the ... seem cheap. All that said, I do find myself living in it. It is warm, I like the hood and print, the length makes it a good cover up, and it is easy to care for compared to other wool sweaters. It isn't super soft, but I personally don't find it itchy. Bottom line: overpriced and not perfect, but...happy birthday to me.
