womens swim shorts - reviews

Love This Skirt
Unlike some of the reviews that say this is a skirt for older women etc etc that is not true! I bought this skirt because it makes me look more sexy than just plan bikini bottoms. This is an awesome ... slit makes it easy to run or ... don't have to be 50+ to wear this. I totally would recommend this for any girl that want a little bit more coverage or just likes the sexy look.

Cute Flippy Skirt
I bought this to match with one of the ... suit tops and also found it comfortable to wear around the house. Then I took it for a run. The length is perfect and this was a very feminine way to do a run. The opening in the leg is perfect for freedom of movement and the purple color is gorgeous. The coverage is perfect and I hope to enjoy this for many years to come though I've not even used it yet for the intended purpose, swimming!

The Best ...
Is Athleta the only company that can make a good ... play tennis and as a result my tan lines look humorous in a regular bottom. So I thought for lounging a ... would be a nice option. I tried them at several department stores and they were so awful. AWFUL. This ... different. It sits low with a waistband that lays nicely just on the hips. The length is just long enough to cover a couple inches below a normal bottom in the back. This ... comfortable. The bottom underneath is full in back and doesn't ride up. I'll still wear regular bottoms for actual swimming, but this is a good alternative.

Great for lounging by the pool, not so much for sports
My husband loves ... skirts and picked this for my birthday present. The ... racer back tankini is modest and will be great for pool parties when I don't want every little bit showing. It's good for gentle swims or lounging by the pool, but the ... floats up around my legs in the water, so it wouldn't do for serious swimming. I don't think these ... would hold up to serious water sports---like a hard fall on a wake board---because they're not tight enough to stay in place.

Like, don''t Love
I like this ... just not for swimming! Perhaps mine is too big, or it stretches out when wet- it just seems to be too much fabric hanging unattractively when wet. I am 5'7" 125 lbs with hips & the medium appears to fit well, when dry. Having said all that, I will keep it and know that I will enjoy wearing it for beach walks, volleyball etc. The quality is per usual- outstanding!

Not for me.
I'm 5'7' and 150 lbs. While I love the ... skirt was all wrong. The top of skirt is very bulky for a tankini or other cover ups. The skirt is too ... if you are wanting to cover up your bottom. I'm at the age where a bikini is no longer an option but I love to ... skirt is not flattering at all for women wanting to look OK while not showing it all. If you have the body for it..... go for it.

Not for swimming....
When I tried on the suit, I thought it was great, if a little long in the skirt & top - But when I tried to ... - Forget it - The skirt is WAY too long for hanging in the surf; I can't even imagine what it would be like to actually ... - I'm hoping my mom can shorten the skirt and maybe the top - It all felt a little too "matronly" for me - I love the coverage of a skirted bottom as long as it's tiny - I wish it wasn't so hard to find! (My friend said, "It's nice for a dress...." If I hadn't already worn it to the beach, I would return it.....
very cute when dry, but too loose & hangs heavy once wet
This looks really cute when dry, and looks just as good on as in the photos online; it feels secure and has a lot of coverage, and is very comfortable. I am 5'6'' and about 140 and usually wear a medium, but exchanged for a small, which fit much better. I got this as a sort of sexy cross between surfer ... tiny swimsuit, and to avoid feeling self conscious about errant hairs below. This suit passes the bill to that end, but unfortunately, once it is wet, it feels a bit too bulky and heavy...I felt a kind of matronly wearing it out of the water, like it was just an excess of material, and not particularly functional for swimming, or lots of in and out of the water. For sunbathing, or maybe playing volleyball or other activities on the sand, it might be perfect, but I like to be in and out of the water and feel freedom of movement. Got some light weight board ... Patagonia this summer for all the reasons I got this one, and now am gonna try the Trestles ... Athleta as a replacement...I guess you just can't have it all in ... bottoms!
