women's tank tops - reviews

favorite workout support ...
This is the third PR ... I've bought, and the color is just as beautiful and flattering as the others. I'm very impressed with the support that this ... offers. I am an XXS petite, but I am a 32D, so it is difficult to find support ... tops that I can use for my intense workouts. This works great for every single one of my classes, whether I'm jumping around or doing yoga. It's long enough to cover my torso without being too long, and it is very comfortable, and easy to get on and off. Highly recommend it.

Love this ... tennis!
Ever been playing tennis and wonder where to stash the extra balls? This ... has amazing pockets in the back. I originally loved this ... training for my triathlon. I even wore one for the event... Did great in water under a wet suit! Now I were one for tennis and am able to have my next ball ready and waiting without having to reach under my skirt. Please make more tanks with these pockets! And of course more colors of this one... I have every color. The fit of the ... great. Very flattering for the sporty curvy girl like me!

Best workout ... ever!
I have never written a review for a product on any site, but I love these tops so much, I had to write one. I own 3 of these tops and they are my go to ... absolutely love the rear pockets - it's a perfect spot for a smartphone while running or in the gym. Please put more of these pockets in your tops as no other company makes them! I'm 5'4", 130 lbs, 34B. I usually order a small in Athleta tops, but I sized up on this one and mediums fit me great.

Perfect fit for the tall women
Love this ... I'm 5' 10", 135 lbs, small B Cup, with a long torso, and a small belly pooch under my belly button. I normally have a hard time finding workout gear made for tall ... affordable and has great quality. Athleta is now my new source for finding the clothes I need to practice yoga, go running, walk my dogs, or hike for hours through the forrest. The ... material is soft and durable. I like that the ... stays in place while I practice yoga and doesn't ride up my belly. I will be shopping for many more Tall Women's Athleta gear from now on.

As Good as the Chakra ...
The Chakra ... has always been my go to workout ... it's feminine, fitted and supportive. I was so sad when Athleta quit selling them. I wandered through several other tops, but the PR ... most supportive ever. I'm 5'4 and wear a 34D, things stayed in place! Hooray for me! hooray for the PR ...

Great ...
The PR ... best ... I've purchased from Athleta. I took a chance and sized down and it paid off. The material is the perfect weight, the length is a perfect mid hip. I ordered the purple and the color is fabulous. I always wear a sports bra under all my tops so for me the support part doesn't matter that much. It's not low cut and has plenty of coverage. For size reference I'm 5'4 125# and a 32DD. Highly recommend.

Love the Pockets, What''s Up with the Neckline?
I am 5'10", 165 lbs, 34DD. I go between M and L in Athleta tops - the L worked better for me in the PR ... pockets are AWESOME on this ... - wish they could become a new "standard" for Atheta. They hold my iPhone while I do my weight training and have Pandora streaming ... and the other pocket holds my tissues, for when my nose starts streaming. The neckline is the only downside - it puckers/buckles right in the middle. This happened in both the M and L, so it's not the size - it's the style. If not for this problem, I would get one in every color. As it is, I might get one more. Note to those buying the white PR ... - a bra must be worn - too obvious without.

Had High Expectations
After trying without success to find a less expensive work out ... would fit I finally caved and ordered from Athleta. Seeing as I am 5' 7" 114 lbs and a natural (as in I need more support than those surgically enhanced) 30DDD I knew finding a size that would work for my small frame and ample bust would be difficult. I ordered the small on the recommendation of the amazing customer service staff. Unfortunately it didn't fit tight enough around the shoulders or the rib cage so I tried the extra small knowing there was a good chance there wouldn't be enough fabric to cover my chest. As I suspected it still didn't provide enough support in the XS but my chest was spilling out everywhere. Seeing as I wanted it for spin class there was no way I was going to bend over with three inches of cleavage with a mirror at the front of the room. Really wanted to find something that would work. Unfortunately, I had the same problem with the Energy ... Back to square one. Guess I need to just get some amazing sports bras and then tanks without shelf bras so they will cover the girls. If you aren't crazy proportions both these tanks are probably awesome and true to the size guide. Gave it four stars because I think the problem is more me than the ... however I think more fabric in the chest (as in slightly higher neckline) would probably help a lot of people. Can't say enough great things about the amazing customer service. Although I haven't found the perfect item I am a loyal customer and have told everyone I know how great your company is. Also love that they didn't rush me at all on the phone when trying to do an exchange and were very helpful in trying to find something that would work.

I love the changes
I love that the changed the pr ... season. The pockets are no longer sitting on your love handles, just properly position on your front side. This ... gives me the most support out of all the performance tops, without wearing a bra. 38D (with tummy). I own 1 of the previous style and 2 of this one. I also just purchased a printed energy ... Athleta needs to make more high impact support tops for larger breasted ...

Great colour, does the job
I bought this ... mainly because I loved the colour and how it combined with the short as pictured. I am 5 4 and am 34D so find that if things are tight it tends to be in the bust. As other reviewers have described this is tight in the bust. However I don't mind this as I feel I have good support when exercising. There is a technique to getting into it without getting tangled which I have now mastered. This said I have noticed I reach for my ... tops without the support ... just want to get going, so it is still a bit of a wrestle to get it on. Once on I find it really comfortable, feel great in it, and find it stays in place while running. The fabric doesn't tend to show perspiration marks as some do. The medial placements of the straps, butterfly back and no need for a bra makes this a very comfortable ... hot days. I bought the medium. Despite some of the drawbacks i think it looks great and am happy with it.

Too tight
I typically purchase size Large when buying shirts, T shirts etc. but have found that I need to order XL with these ... tops from Athleta; -didn't think I was that much bigger, but I guess I am. I'm 5ft. 9; 170 lbs and a cup size C D . I will be exchanging the Large I purchased for an XL; otherwise, good product
