Love love love these!
I have 2 pairs of these in different colours and I absolutely love them. They are cute enough to ... absolutely anywhere, but are still the most comfortable shorts I have for wearing to the gym. They fit great on me, in spite of being a difficult size for shorts (curvy with big hips, so most pants/shorts hang on my waist). The flat stretch waist band with no opening to add bulk is very flattering. I love the pocket and button detail, it makes them look far cuter than your average workout short. The length is just perfect too - long enough to do ... without any issues, but not so long that they are annoying or unflattering. I can't recommend these highly enough!
great shorts
I bought these because I wanted some shorts for ... love them! They are really comfortable for ... poses. I bought them in the olive and black. I like that I don't feel self conscious about sweat when wearing them. They are exactly what I was wanting.
Great ...
I love these things! So cool and comfortable. I'm 5'1" and I work out regularly but I'm very curvy, a.k.a., a little extra junk in the trunk, and the large ... give me a roomy fit, which is to say, ... losely fitted but not baggy. The rise is a tad high on me due to my ... torso but not too bad. The length is right above my knee, which is perfect for me. ... lot more flattering on my "dew drop" shape than I thought ... would be. I feel very comfortable wearing them for ... workouts.
Surprisingly flattering for a pear shape!
I was prepared to not like these shorts because of the stretchy material, but they're great! The fabric is wonderful; super stretchy, soft & comfy. Ordered these for an upcoming vacation; I wanted summer clothing that was versatile, would travel well & stand up to heat/humidity. I'm very out of shape due to a recent injury; I'm 5'9", about 20 lbs overweight right now ... size 8-10/M under normal circumstances) & hippy/pear shaped with a lovely new stomach bulge--yay, aging! Had no idea what size to order, so I whipped out the tape measure & went to the size chart (VERY helpful, btw). Ordered the XL & I'm glad I did. It says "semi fitted," but it should say "fitted"--these shorts definitely hug the rear & hips, at least on me. But the color (I ordered black) & the pockets/stitching help camouflage any lumpy parts, thankfully. These are very flattering shorts, but if you're hippy/pear shaped, order a size UP! Love the side slits at the knee. Like other reviewers, the only thing I would change is to add a drawstring at the waist--once these get stretched out and/or I lose a few pounds, I don't think the non adjustable waist will stay up. Overall these are great, versatile shorts that will pack/travel well, & I plan on wearing them a LOT--for walking, hiking, ... running errands, hanging out & traveling. I may even order another pair!

Love these Bermudas!
These bermudas are great! Styled to look like regular pants or jeans, they're actually a stretch material which makes them ideal for casual wear or everyday activities, such as ... I'm 5' tall, 110 lbs and usually wear an XS. The XS sizing in these shorts was perfect. I ordered the black and they look, feel and fit great.
This ... great for almost everything!
I love this ... can do my Pilates, barre work, ... then run the rest of my errands without wearing clingy gym clothes or running ... have them in two colors. The material is a little stretchy, so you could size down if you are inbetween.
Comfy shorts
These are my new fav ... summer. I was not sure at first, because they are definitely looser than athleta stuff usually fits me, but they are so comfortable and cute after wearing for a few hours that I think I will order another. They are perfect for wearing out to do errands as well as for ... Pilates. The rise is definitely all the way up to the natural waist, fyi. Love the "jean" details. Much comfier (and cooler for summer) than actual jeans.
Great (though pricey) shorts!
I love these shorts! I already bought the gray ones and just justified the money on the black ones. I like the black even more than the gray, and they just fit beautifully. I wear a size 6 regularly and the small fits well. I wear these to ... then can do my errands without changing and don't just look like I'm in leggings like my other ... pants.

These are as expected all around based on website photos and reviews. They are very comfortable. My first purchase from Athleta. The fabric is a little heavier than I expected (I have other ... pants from a successful Canadian ... retailer on the west coast and Athleta fabric is thicker). Don't think I would ever wear these as street clothes in my large city, but maybe in a less urban environment they would be ok. I ordered medium, I'm a size 6 in Banana Republic and size 8 in ... pants from the aforementioned Canadian retailer.
