The Best Quality ... Ever
5 stars because: 1) Excellent cushion and comfort 2) Appropriately sticky (especially if only cleaned with Manduka cleaners, which smell sooo good) 3) Extremely durable with a lifetime warranty 4) Easy to clean 5) Simply amazing to practice on 6) Worth every penny due to the overall quality. The "smell" goes away right away once cleaned. Therefore, the only con is its weight. This ... would work best at home or in your own studio/area you practice regularly. Hauling it around would give you a great workout, though... but remember to achieve your balance by carrying on both R and L sides. ;)
Great, but heavy
I am giving this 5 stars because of the quality and length of the ... My previous old school ... causing the hardwood to hurt my bony knee during certain positions. No issues with sliding which is another great reason to own this mat....Pricey but if it saves a possible knee injury in the future, than it is worth it...
Best ... Ever!
I love this ... can honestly say, it's the best investment I ever made for my practice- worth every penny! My Instructor and another student recommended this ... my old ... had served me well for many years; had fallen apart. At first it has a funky odor, so I wiped it down with a wet cloth and mild soap. After a few washes, the smell is gone and the ... became more tacky after each wipe down. NOTE: I did NOT use chemicals. I am 5'8" and is just long enough, so if there was anything I'd change is I'd get the "long". Namaste

I love the Manduka ... heavy and solid which makes it stay put and the extra thickness provides a nice cushion. I would highly recommend it.

I purchased this mat directly from the manduka website. I am so happy athleta got this in stock. Before I purchased this yoga ... went through 10 ... two years- yikes. This ... only ... ever need. It is hands down the best ... I've ever practiced on. It is the perfect width and density. WORTH EVERY PENNY! Plus, it has a lifetime warentee. Do not hesitate to buy this ...
