... awesome ... They're snug, ... not tight. And ... move with all the poses just the way I'd hoped ... would without binding, wedging, or slipping. And I was pleasantly surprised at how cool ... throughout a challenging ... practice. I'm going to order another pair.

I just do a ... flow class so ... not too hot. ... tad longer than I was expecting from the photo in the catalog but it isn't an issue. Love the color, so sick of owning only black! Sizing information
I just got ... yesterday and practiced ... last night. I unfortunately fall between a small and medium (5,9", 145 lbs, size 6). After reading the reviews, I got the medium/tall. The medium will do, but if I buy another pair, I'll get the small/tall. I like ... more form fitting, However, the rasberry color is a nice change from the usual black, the seaming along the outer thighs is a nice detail, the length is perfect, the material is soft and hides sweat marks, they're comfortable, and ... seem pretty durable so far.

I needed a new pair of ... have tried MANY on in stores but have never found the fit I wanted/needed...until I got ... am so picky about "tight" ... muscular legs and am self conscious of tight fitting ... However ... very flattering fit. I ... worn them to ... run in and ... been quite pleased. ... flare a bit at the bottom which I think is what makes them so flattering...but ... still fitted enough so as not to interfere w/ ... poses. Perfect ... just wish Athleta would make them in more colors!

great for ...
I practice Hot Flow Vinyasa ... couple of times a week and ordered this ... (along with a couple of styles of ... wash ... after each practice as I get very sweaty and stink like hell. It's held up very well and done it's job perfectly. Highly recommend!

Super Flattering!
Initially I ordered the Small ( I'm 5'5'', 116 lb.) and ... seemed a little bunchy around the upper thigh and loose around the waist. I received the XS yesterday and they're perfect! I'm a Pilates, ... Spin instructor--one of the classes I teach is Spin ... perfect for it as they'll wick during Spin and be quick drying for the ... portion. I ... worn ... Kickbooty ... class ( which I LOVE) but the length isn't good on a spin bike. The length of ... perfect on me--somewhere between a capri and a knicker which will make it a great ... teaching, taking Bikram, or casual cruising on a "townie". I really recommend it. Super flattering to your backside too!

Comfy and cute ...
I ... been looking for new ... capris for a while and was happy to find that ... were available in tall. I am 5'10" and ... curvy hips but thin legs. I ordered ... large tall and ... fit great. Not tight on ... hips, good stretch to the fabric, and also not to loose in the legs. I am very happy with the quality and fit of ... quality is good so I didn't mind paying the higher price for ... normally get ... clothes on clearance, so I guess I splurged this time! ... exactly what I was looking for in a capri ... very figure flattering.

Too thin
I ordered ... because the Kick Booty capris were sold out. I'd heard the Kick Booty capris were thick, and when I saw that ... were the same "midweight," I figured they'd be fine, but ... not. One of ... pet peeves in being in ... class and being able to see peoples private parts (cracks) through their fancy ... (even Lulu Lemon!). I don't want people seeing ... private parts so I go out of ... way to buy thicker ... which are very hard to find. I had high hopes for ... Although ... comfortable, ... see through.

Material too thin
I recently purchased a few Athleta work out tanks and they're fabulous! So I assumed the ... would be just as wonderful. I ordered this one (Anada Capri), Flash Capri, Revelation Capri, Workitout Knicker, and the Chaturanga ... Knicker. ALL TOO THIN! When bending over in the mirror, I could see ... underwear THROUGH the ... each and every ... listed above. I take Bikram ... extremely disappointed. ... items would be fine if you're working out at the gym or running. But not for ... unless you want to flash everyone!

Showing off my legs
I was reluctant to try short shorts, but the hot ... class I've been taking is just too hot for ... capris, so I tried the kickbooty shorts. I was SO surprised! I was totally comfortable in these shorts, they did not ride up at all, and I actually thought my legs (which I seldom expose) looked pretty good intthem. I wore baggy ... cover up but took the ... off at home and felt very comfortable walking around the house in them,, too. I'm very glad I got these shorts.

Love Kickbooty!
I love the kickbooty line - I have the capris, ... shorts. I own four pairs of the ... shorts, that's how much I love them! They don't ride up when I run and they don't ride down when I'm in a ... pose. Highly recommend! I am 5'-4", 130 lbs and the medium fit nicely.

I love these shorts! I am 47 and very active and was looking for a pair of workout shorts that are longer and cover a bit more skin! These are perfect! Not too long and not too short. I also bought a pair in hot pink for my 14 year old and she loves them! I have the kickbooty ... well. The material is high quality and stands up well in the washer. I wash them on the handwash cycle and never put them in the dryer. Definately worth the price!

Great shorts
I bought these shorts a few weeks ago and they are my new favorite pair! I use them for hot and regular practice, I have similar athleta ... same fabric and it washes well and keeps its shape, also the fabric soft! I like more of a relaxed fit so I ordered the small ( I usually wear xs but I like s in athleta) they ride up slightly in the leg but nothing crazy and because of the length it's not too much ( I have yet to find any ... shorts that stay put completely as ... active practice) My only complaint is that no more colors are available in my size otherwise I would order more.

these shorts really work for me
i got these for ... though i don't do hot ... like shorts rather than leggings for warmer days. the shorts are also good for indoor (gym) climbing and for quick bike rides around town. i don't know about the riding up problem since i haven't run in them. they are a perfect fit for me and i love the 5" inseam. i've had shorter and longer shorts in the past and these are a great balance, and they're neither too tight nor too loose. i'm a tall ish size 6 or 8 in athleta, so the medium is wonderful. the waist rise is just right and the wide waistband is comfy and very flattering. the seams on the backside make my butt look better too. and i'm really glad for the "dress blue" since i'm so tired of black and gray (and the pink isn't hot enough for me, a little bubble gummy in my opinion). i would love to see other bright colors, as i'm a bit top heavy and darker ... make me look like i've got no hips or butt at all. not everyone wants the slimming dark look on the bottom. the fabric is substantial enough and i'm sure it will hold up well in the wash (and air dry since we don't have a dryer anyway). nice design which seems to be worth paying full price for.

No issues here
I bought these to wear to a new hot ... class and they are great! Although just a tiny bit too loose around the waist area they work really well. The size, fit, and material are all as I expected. These are perfect for anyone wanting to stay cool during hot ... I'm 5'11 and I wear a size 8 in ... most shorts an 8 or 6.

Worthwhile purchase
I am notoriously cheap, and because of this am always disappointed in my purchases. I bought these shorts because I wanted something that was flattering, would'nt ride up, and would fit my unique shape. They are a like the top 1/3 of your favorite ... They land right at 1/2 way down my thight, and despite wearing them all day, they have retained their shape and not rolled up once. Also i know when it comes to rise, some ladies like a super low rise, which doesn't favor those of us who tend to be bigger on the bottom, but the high rise has a 'mom' sort of fit. These have such a perfect rise - about an inch below my naval. High enough to know no booty crack will show, but not half way up my stomach either. Perhaps the best quailty shorts I've ever bought, and I have learned my lesson that perhaps superdiscounted shorts from the clearance area are there for a reason, and I need to start buying more quality like this:)

Perfect!
I was tired of long ... These were the perfect short to move in during ... without feeling like I was in a pair of short shorts! I even felt comfortable enough to run to the grocery store in them. They do kick booty!

Perfect ... out shorts,
I've worn and washed these shorts only two times, but the quality seems to be as impressive as the ... I've worn and washed at least 200 times - they are still in excellent condition! I'm 5'3", athletic build, weighing 115. I tend to hold my weight in my hips and bottom. I bought the S based on reviews not wanting skin tight shorts. Yet these are roomier on me than I'd prefer. I debated exchanging but decided to keep them and order another pair in XS.

Better than I thought
When I first wore the shorts for weight training I didn't like them that much -- they rode up a lot and the waist hit me at an unflattering spot (I'm very muscular and fit, except for seemingly permanent post baby belly issues). But I wore them to ... today to give them another shot (my original purpose for them anyway) and I actually really liked them. They didn't ride up at all, were very comfortable through all the poses, and the waistband gave complete coverage and security. I don't like how they emphasize my waist, but overall I think they are very flattering. I was still dripping sweat in class -- the one reason I prefer longer ... summer -- but there was coverage where I needed it and it didn't hinder my stability at all despite all the sweat.

Great shorts for Bikram ...
I used to wear capri ... but it was just so HOT. I wasn't a huge fan of the bathing suit variety shorts that many fellow yogis wore, so I decided to go with these shorts. PERFECT! The length is just right, and they're very comfortable. The waistband stays put, and the legs don't ride up too much. Great purchase.

I originally purchased the shorts for rowing as ... would quickly dry when wet and looked comfortable. I thought ... looked super cute online. I was worried about the waist band being too tight (as most are on me.) ... perfect! I usually wear a size 4, ... go for a medium in most ... because of the tight waistband. ... ordered the S and ... fit awesome!!! Look good for workouts or as leggings under long shirts and dresses (especially if you want that compressive effect for a smooth line!). For those reviewers who find that the ... slip and need to be pulled up on a regular basis - you are buying your ... big!!! At the store, we are constantly helping women to size down in our compression ... fight "the slip." If you are a size 2-4, buy an XS!!! If you are a size 6, buy an S! Medium works for women who are in the 8-10 range, and L for 12/14, XL for 14/16. Obviously ... guidelines, ... if you buy ... bit larger because you don't want ... feel tight, the inevitable result is that ... won't stay in place during a workout. The ... extremely well designed, and sizing down won't give you a muffin top - just better compression and overall ... Cheers, and see you in Georgetown!

I ... been trying to upgrade ... workouts lately by buying a lot of new workout gear. I got ... mail yesterday and immediately put ... ran down to a hot ... class - which turned out to be REALLY HOT ... class before had been completely full as was this class. The top I wore was also recently purchased ... Athleta. First of all, I can tell that ... out fast - ... super stretchy ... also sturdy. The waist is really comfortable because it stays in place and doesn't need to be adjusted ... there also isn't any kind of uncomfortable band. The thing that I found most telling about the quality of ... after class, ... friend and I went next door for dinner and drinks. By the time we left the bar, ... had long since been dry ... top (which was also supposed to be fast drying, moisture wicking, etc, etc) was still sopping wet. I honestly might've been drier faster if I had been wearing a cotton t shirt. ... very pricey ... think the quality is immediately apparent ... I'd venture to say that they're worth it.

I just wore ... first time to a 90 min hot ... class, and I loved ... fabric is substantial enough for a sleek smooth look and a bit of support, yet still feels cool. The rise was just right (I ... round bum and in some ... back rise can be a problem, ... length was just right in regular (I'm 5'6"), and the vivid blue color is beautiful and fun, I got a lot of compliments. Even though it's ... extremely dark color, sweat doesn't show. I ... 12 to 14 ... Large was a perfect ... Very happy with this purchase and plan to come back to this style when I need more ...

I ordered ... because ... work is starting lunchtime ... January. I wanted leggings that would look good around the office ... didn't ... change before and after lunch break. ... perfect! The fabric is thicker than typical leggings and very nice quality. I plan to ... hip length tunic sweater and a wickit tee underneath. The waistband is mid rise - a little higher than I usually would ... good height ... don't slide down in the back in front of ... coworkers.

I ordered a large because I didn't want ... unflatteringly tight, ... sometimes the waist is a bit ... big and I ... pull the ... up a bit during vinyasas. I've had ... many ... just a bit to snug in those places. ... just lounging around the house. I just hope ... last a long time. The $ was a bit more than I usally pay for ... types of ... am praying ... hold up to the many, many washes I will put then through. ... far ... still look good ... has only been a couple weeks. Amazing ... tights!
I opened the box when ... arrived today, and after trying ... almost couldn't bring myself to take ... off. They're AMAZING! ... feel *better* than a second skin. Wearing ... more comfortable than wearing nothing at all. That said, ... plenty thick for compression, warmth, and durability. It's the quality and sensation of the material that makes ... wonderful to ... know I ordered petite sizing, and I think I got XXS, ... maybe XS. I'm very short, and the petite length worked ... tights hit right at at ... angle, where they're supposed to be. I was hoping to sport ... outdoor running, and hiking. ... would be a welcome partner for all of ... activities, and many more. I may ... get another pair (or as many as I can afford) to keep myself outfitted in the best ever ... tights. I tried washing ... see if it would help, ... still ... same problem. It's ... bad enough that I want to return ... most likely ... lounge ... opposed to ... gear because ... super comfortable.

While I do ... more than most (I often keep ... much of the day before or after class), I'm concerned about the pilling/roughing up of the fabric near the crotch after only 1/5 weeks of wearing ... don't mind paying more for quality ... clothes as long as ... hold up! I hope ... do.

I'm 5'3", 115 (got a small) and ... perfectly everywhere, ... cause serious problems in the lady parts, way ... tight, can see everything! ... send ... back. I don't know why this isn't a concern for a lot of manufacturers that make ... No one needs to see that business. As much as I wanted to ... Athleta ... Lululemon and Lucy ones are the only ones I've been able to find that doesn't cause that problem. Other than that, ... well and look nice, ... if it's ... issue isn't a problem, get ...

The only complaint and it is a small one, is that the drawstring in the waist could really use another 5 inches. That c section shelf is here to stay no matter what! ... nicely around the middle ... don't show ... much and ... nice drape. The fabric is awesome and holds up ... wash. I ... mine every week. And I always get compliments on ... Everyone wants to know where I got ... can cinch the leg to keep ... place when inverted. The only drawback is the small bead on the drawstring, when cinched I sometimes step on it. I ordered ... whim. I wanted ... Zumba that weren't to tight. For Zumba I wanted more room and less form fitting than a ... were perfect. I wore ... right out of the package to Zumba, then to Starbucks for coffee, then straight to a fairly challenging ... class and then shopping. ... looked smashing and felt perfectly comfy the entire day. I will order another pair.

I ordered ... after reading all the ... reviews. I really liked the grey color and fabric, ... nice when I tried ... Length (petite) was ... long (I am very short-5') ... am used to that. It was nice to ... adjustable legs at the bottom ... then that little metal ball thing was awful to step on (bare feet at ... had to keep wrapping it around and tucking it in perhaps that part could be improved. The main problem I had was the first time I wore ... teach ... class. The fabric was ... heavy and continued to 'grow' throughout class. I found by the time class was over, the ... were a whole size bigger and I had spent half the class pulling ... up! Perhaps an XS Petite would be better (I got the S Petite) ... knows. ... may be better suited for just hanging out or walking. These pants are awesome! I travel a lot with my job, and they are great, as they are super comfy, yet look dressy at the same time! They are like yoga pants with pockets and a fake zipper, so they look more like dress pants than yoga pants, yet feel as comfortable as yoga pants! The fit is great, and I love them!!

my new favorite
These are my new favorite pants for EVERYTHING. Bought them for regular and hot yoga. I got them on Friday, wore them to a regular yoga class, then I wore them all weekend, and again when I taught a hot yoga class on Monday morning. Perfect fit, great feel, no restriction of movement, great at 102 degrees. I wish these pants came in a brighter color. I got black, but I'd love to have a pair in purple.

Love these pants!
I've never written a review but felt the need for these yoga pants. As a stay at home mom who works out almost daily, I live in workout clothing. These pants are so comfortable & stylish; I can wear them to run to a store or pick up the kids & look good. My 13 & 11 year old daughters even commented on how cute they are. Highly recommend if you want a pair of yoga pants that are not the same as all the others.

Best Pants Ever!!!
These pants are so great. The fit is very flattering and I am delighted to find some yoga/workout pants that have pockets and a little detailing. These look great in the gym, yoga studio, before/after a workout running errands, or for just lounging around the house. Super comfortable, are form fitting without feeling tight, and are very soft. The only thing about them is to buy them in a smaller size than what you wear. I am 5'6", 128 lbs, and a Small was too big for me. I returned them and got an XS which fits perfectly.

Live up to the hype!
Love these pants! I am only 5' 4", so I had to have them hemmed and haven't put then to the HOT yoga test ... yet! I love that I can hit the gym (yoga, weight lifting, etc.) and then head to the grocery store in comfort and style! They are the perfect workout pants, but they don't look like work out pants! The fabric is very comfortable, stretchy and I hope they are durable. Time will tell, but I am a fan so far!

Best yoga pants ever!
I LOVE these pants! They are comrfortable like a yoga ... should be, but they look like you're wearing something nicer than just the usual black yoga pants everyone else is wearing. I wore mine Christmas shopping with a long sleeve tee and down vest and was perfectly comfortable all day. I ordered a small first because I wear a size 6 usually, and I probably could have gotten away with them, but felt they were just a bit too tight. I'm 45 and didn't want to look like I was trying to be 25! So I got the medium and they are good. I think they would be too hot to work out it in as they are pretty thick, but they are perfect for yoga and everyday active. I'm going on a plane this week and will wear these for sure!!

Most versatile Pants Ever
These pants are fantastic! I have them in heather and black. Everytime I wear them I receive numerous compliments on the style and fit. They look like a nice pair of everyday slacks that can be worn everywhere, yet offer the soft flexibility needed in a ... They also have functional pockets that I don't notice during class, but am grateful for outside the studio. Also, these are modest alternative to tight, form fitting ... FYI, I am 5'8", size 4 ... regular length small fits well.

Got these as work pants. The medium fit great as yoga pants, but the large petite (5'4, 130) were great as work pants! I can wear yoga pants to work! How awesome is that! The black heather is a great color too.

Bettona vs Fusion
I was looking for a pair of yoga pants to take on vacation- something comfortable for a long flight, yoga, hiking and not look like sweats or yoga pants. I ordered both the Fusion and Bettona Classic pants to compare. The Bettona won hands down! I am 5'4 and ordered Petite- Bettona length was perfect- Fusion is 1" shorter and was too short for me. I also did not like the appearance of the back pockets on the Fusion. The Bettona pants are so comfortable and look great! I was worried about the comfort of the rivets and pockets during yoga class- but they were not a problem at all. Love them!

Great pants!
I read all the reviews of these pants because they are fairly expensive and I wanted to be sure it was really what I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase. The pants are made with quality fabric and have detailing that makes them looks less like yoga pants and more like regular pants but they are still as comfortable as yoga pants. My only complaint is that they are about one inch longer than I would like since I don't intend to wear heels with this type of pants! I have not washed them so I don't know if they will shrink at all in the wash. I recommend these pants for all activities as they have a nice rise that is not so low that you are "exposed" when moving about and bending over.

Unbeatable comfort
I am 5'3.5" and weigh 113lbs. I purchased the small petite for yoga, walks, gym, and long overnite airplane flights in the asphalt gray. I have machine washed them once with cold water and dried them in warm heat for 40 minutes and they have NOT shrunk and were wrinkle free ready to wear again. They still touch the top of my foot. Perfect with heeled sandals, but a bit draggy for yoga. The rise is a tad lower than I'd prefer (but not obscene) where I tend to pull them up instinctively occasionally. Yes, the flare is wide. They look terrific, (smooth fit) , and go to and from yoga to errands with no problems. As I have a cat, the gray doesn't show any hair. Actually, they don't seem to attract lint. The weight is nice and not flimsy. I will be taking an 11 hour overnite flight soon and I suspect they will be very comfortable. Here, the low rise and stretchy material will be perfect. I would consider trying the cargos next. I returned the small regular as they were way too long. Return service was great. They advised me by e mail when the return was received. My first experience with Athleta online and it was a winner. Have visited the SF store and it was staffed enthusiastically. Looking forward to another visit.

I've purchased quite a few different ... past few years and the Chaturanga ... far my favorite. I'm short (5'3'') and very curvy, so the large petite is the perfect size and length for barefoot ... sessions and walking to class in the winter in MN without getting my ... dirty. The material feels amazing, like no matter how much I sweat I wouldn't notice in ... don't roll over at the waist when bending either, huge plus. I love ... pants...would highly recommend for anyone looking for a ... work out ... Worth the money!

So comfortable and flattering!
I'm 5'10", 135 lbs., and expected the regular length to be too short, but ... perfect. The medium fit perfectly, but I returned them for a large as I like ... have a looser fit. ... feel wonderful on, very silky but sturdy, and I'm not constantly pulling the waist up as I practice ... (like with some ... quality seems good; the stitching and fabric are substantial, not cheap. ... held their shape after washing and line drying.

FINALLY!
FINALLY! A pair of ... doesn't fall too low when your in the middle of those inside out and upside down ... poses. I'm curvy in the hips with a smaller waist so anything that sits lower will wiggle down to sit on my hip bones as I'm moving in a ... class. ... sit just a little higher (but not grandma high) so you don't have to worry about mooning the person behind you and are still VERY flattering. I LOVE THEM.

I just started doing Bikram ... like to wear ... because I sweat so bad I need ... absorb some of it so that I can do the moves...and these ... fantastic. So comfortable, and while I'm drenched when I leave, it's not like the regular cotton ... I've gotten from Old Navy or Gap, which are just disgusting when I'm done with ... wicking in ... Chaturanga ... great. But that isn't the only reason I love them, they fit like a glove, are flattering and just so darn comfortable. I have one pair that I wash over and over because they are the only ... want to wear to class. I am 5'5" and a muscular 154 pounds, I bought the Petite Large, ... might be too short to do other activities or wear with shoes, but for doing bikram ... perfect, if ... were longer ... would get in the way. I have the asphalt color which is a nice change from my standard black, though I think it is about time to invest in a second pair, so I'll get black. If you're considering ... won't be disappointed!

I loveloveLOVE my Chaturanga ... would wear them everyday everywhere if I could. I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs and initially got size S regular. ... were ok but a bit loose around my thighs and butt for a loungier comfort feel. I tried on the XS regular at the store and it was perfect so I exchanged them. Not too tight around the thighs and not too much "booty" either. I primarily wear ... training around the gym. The length is probably just a tad long but the Petite was too short. With shoes they're fine and I sometimes will fold up the edges 1/2 inch when barefoot or practicing ... Looking fwd to ... next pair in a diff color!

... so comfortable that I can't get enough. I own 4 pair for winter ... hanging out and just about anything I can do in ... am 5' tall and don't have a flat belly and ... very comfortable. For ... waistband can creep and cause a bit of a muffin top for those of use without a flat tummy, but generally speaking ... great ... leaves to be desired around the front makes up for in the back. ... butt looks great in ... ordered petite small and ... were still a bit too long. ... also stretch after wearing for while (think blue jeans fresh out of dryer and then two days later after wearing several times) and I wonder if the Petite extra small would have been better.

New Favorite Workout ...
Love these ... have a tough time finding ... both look good and are extremely functional. The rise is perfect for me and love the fit across the booty. They are a perfect length for me at 5'4" which I'm delighted to find as most ... wear runs very long for my average height. Would recommend the longer length if you are much taller, however. Will order more like this in the future. Worth the cost if you want good quality, fit, and long term functionality.

So very comfy!
I was hesitant to buy these ... because, truthfully, I did not need one more pair of black ... But out of all the Athleta ... have purchased, the Kickbooty is by far the most flattering and comfortable. The fit hugs where it should hug and the lines in the stitching curve around your best body features. The material is soft and stretchy and easily machine washable/dry low. I would wear these everyday if I could!

LOVE these ...
I have several pairs of the kick booty ... continue to add more of them as I find myself in distress when my ... drawer gets low on ... laundry hasn't been done in a while. I wear them nearly every day for work, and they are good looking, comfortable and well made. I work several long shifts (19-36 hours) and these ... my go to work attire for those long shifts. I already had these ... black and asphalt, and now I have the dress blue. For some reason, the latest pair I bought are much longer than they have been in the past, and these are actually too long for me and drag on the floor. Maybe that will change with being washed, but that's the only thing different I've noticed with the latest pair. I am 5'10", 180 lbs and I buy the tall large version of these ...

My Fav!
The Kickbooty is my absolute favorite long ... makes you look great and feel incredibly comfortable. This is one of the only ... love to wear while doing hot ... gentle ... running around in between classes. The ... never rides up during Tree pose, so you never get that annoying bunching in the inner thigh, that some ... give you, nor does the waist ever dip down in the back when I move through sun salutations or wide angled forward folds, the waist stays secure through the most dynamic practices. I'm always covered and comfortable!

Flattering and comfortable
Great pair of ... dance, and running errands. They are flattering and comfortable. I am 5 feet, 100 pounds, and the small petite is perfect for me. The ... do shrink about a 1/2 inch in the dryer, which is good for me, but just be aware. I also wear them barefoot for ... dance and the length is exactly what I need for that. Usually I have to get dance ... hemmed, so Athleta petite is great for me. For comparison purposes, these ... bit tighter than the Chaturanga ... have a curvy rear for my size so it might be tigher on me than others). Overall, they are a great pair of ... am new to Athleta and have become a huge fan of their ... - I highly recommend them.

Nice ...
I had been thinking of trying a pair of Athleta ... awhile. I ordered these in olive in a M Tall when I found them on sale. I will definitely try other styles based on the good luck I had with this pair. I am 5'6" 35-28-41; the waist, hip & thigh fit really well. I normally would not have bought a tall but that was the only length in the color in a M in clearance at the time. A regular length would have been way more appropriate, but I liked the ... well enough to keep them & hem them myself. The fabric is a heavier weight and is more appropriate for cooler weather. The waist did not roll as I did ... which was really nice.

These are great ...
After reading the positive reviews I decided to get these ... really like them. They could have been a tad longer but other than that they fit true to size. I have had to get longs in some of the Athleta ... but did not with these. I have done ... hot ... these. I may order aother pair in another color.

Fabric too thin for me - reveals all imperfections...
I'm 40+ mom, 5'4" 120 lb. and ordered size S. I didn't care for the look of these ... me as the thin synthetic fabric didn't hold anything in or smooth anything out. I had the same problem with the Fusion ... like to be able to wear ... occasionally to run errands so some modesty is important to me, and I feel more confident in ... smooth out or at least skim over my imperfections a bit. I have a pair of Bettona jean ... year or so ago and those are great - stretchy and heavy with styling that crosses over to every day wear. I was under the impression that this would have been a similar weight of fabric. I also ordered the Organic Salamba ... Gflex ... Gap, and those worked a lot better for me and my mommy booty. I am returning the Kickbooty ...

Odd Fabric, like the Fusion ...
Hi again, its the ... hoarder=) I bought the Kickbooty ... along with the Fusion ... two weeks ago. Like the Fusion ... Kickbooty ... rounds out the rear and flatters an athletic figure. (Am 5'7" and 121 lbs.) I like a heavier material and prefer the organic cotton Salamba ... these. The Kickbooty ... silky feeling, like the Fusion ... Also they are pretty much bell bottoms as opposed to 'flare leg'. I am glad I bought them so that I have a different look to wear to the gym but think I'll stick with heavier fabrics from now on. One more thing, I bought both the Kickbooty and Fusion in black and so glad that I did. The material is thin enough to where I feel that lighter colors would let every 'crease and dimple' show through. The black has washed nicely and has not faded at all. Hope I've helped=)

Not great for ...
I was so excited to wear my new ... yoga...but the waistband kept rolling over and I was constantly adjusting them during class. I'm sure these would be good ... gym or running, but they're not great for ... My other ... have wider elastic at the top that stays put during class.

I found the pockets to be better than ... looked in the picture and ... flatter the rear, ... mention ... functional (I recently held a set of keys in mine). I finally feel comfortable and confident in a pair of ... I'm usually an extra small (5'2 and 105 pounds), and the extra small short ones ... were made for me. I ... been wearing Chachuranga ... few years. And now I am pregnant and in ... third trimester, I find it harder to work out in the gym with Chachuranga ... especially the waistline, that is why I switch to Fusion ... now. Fusion ... wider waist band without elastic band on the top which is more comfortable for ... big belly. and the back pockets can hide panty lines. I believe I can still ... even after pregnancy. I dont recomend it for intense work out e.g. running, because the waist is ... stretchable maybe it will get too loose during workout.

Just got ... mail. I've had really good luck in particular with Athleta ... continue to carry the torch. They're ... new favorites! The ... flattering. The angle of the pockets in the pictures when I was ordering almost made me ... order ... person ... cut to flatter and very slimming. I'm about 135 and 5'2" and ... curvy hourglass figure which can be hard to shop for. I got the 8P. ... couldn't be better. The length is perfect for both ... sneaks or flats around town. Paired with a wrap sweater or belted cardigan and ballet flats, ... would be perfect to ... travelling by plane to be completely comfy and still feel put together and confident. The Fusion and Kick Booty are ... first ... order from Athleta. I'm just amazed at the comfort, quality, ... etc. I'm 5'6" and ... between a size 2 and 4 in ... ordered a Small and ... T. The regular length skims the floor on sides of ... feet and stack on the top of ... foot. I teach ... pilates and tai chi ... I'm either barefooted or in flip flops ... length is just right for me. I haven't washed ... yet, ... hang to dry to avoid even slight shrinkage. I much prefer ... too long than too short! The pockets on the backside are such an added bonus. Just downright cute and flattering...some pockets can be placed far apart or are ... small and give the appearance of a wide backside. ... do anything ... Athleta, you nailed it with the Fusion!!

I purchased several items from Athleta in ... usual size small. Everything ... perfectly except ... which were too loose. I was able to exchange ... size XS and now ... perfectly. If you are wanting a semi fitted looser ... I'd say stick with your usual size. If you want a more fitted ... go a size down. I love the back pockets which are fashionable and functional and a nice change from ... other black ...

I ... 5'8' and 195 and typically weat and XL in Atleta and ... perfectly. ... were a bit more fitted than I was expecting in the rear ... more form hugging. And comfy waist that ... plane travel and ... feeling constricted. I wish they'd had the regular lenght in the XL--i had to order the Tall to get the right ... comfy, ... going to get ... hemmed.

Petite length needs to be a teeny bit longer!
Overall, I think this is a good replacement for the ... continue to be frustrated with the length of Athleta ... wish you ... add 1 inch to the petite lengh! It is a big gap between petite and regular. I ... 5' 3 1/2" and petite S ... skims the top of the shoe. I kept ... though, since the regular length looks sloppy on ... drags on the ground. Athleta... please consider us inbetweeners! The length issue aside, I do ... enough room in the leg for ... yet ... give a little shape.

Athleta, please listen to your customers. Fans of ALL THAT ... loved that product ... way it was. The Be All ... no improvement; it's barely a substitute, with what feels ... cheaper, thinner Tactel. The thicker sueded finish was the primary draw - it feels ... wearing a hug at the end of the day. The new rise feels higher, as well -- ... really annoying feature is the rigid drawstring. All That ... used a self fabric drawstring that had enough 'give' to allow a person to pull one's ... off without undoing the knot each time. ... going to replace it with something a bit stretchier. Please add more good quality Sueded Tactel ... your lineup. Every catalog has ... products made out of Pilayo, ... must be extremely popular. Although I ... some Chataraunga ... material feels ... swimsuit fabric -- ... something I want to ... end of the day.

However, I bought the ... one size larger than what I would typically wear in ... fit me perfectly. ... pay close attention when you order. It even says it on the Fitting and Sizing portion of the pants--if you are on the higher end of that size, then purchase one size up.

If you are a short waisted petite person, this is a great ... because the waist sits at "waist level" and not below or above. I like ... not ... much for running around. The 31" inseam is a little short for me. I am 5'4", 124 lbs and prefer ... long. ... great with barefeet, like for ... smallest of heels, ... too short on me. ... legs are a little long for ... size, though. Very comfortable. And I like the lower rise of ... compared to the higher peace rise. If ... weren't a little short on me, I'd give ... 5 stars.

I wear ... hot ... they're great. The fabric is a little heavy ... still very comfortable. I got the olive color which doesn't change color drastically when you're sweating it out in a hot ... class!

I got this because the color (olive) was on sale and the ... used to love from Old Navy are unacceptable now. I'm 5'3" and the medium fit fine, though just a shade on the long side (i really wish Athleta would put out as much in petite as ... do in tall - none of their dresses ever fit me right). I guess there was nothing wrong with ... except when I put ... realized I'd rather ... mostly cotton ... instead.

Nice ... breathable fabric. I would not wear ... 'hot' ... class, or a class where I would sweat a lot. Very comfortable, great color. I ordered the brown in a large. I usually wear a size 10 or 12.

A bit expensive ... nice ...
The ... great, well made and comfortable. As for the fit, I am a 5'7" size 2 with few curves and the small fits snuggly, which is great for me because that is how I prefer ... length is great for flip flops or bare feet. The rise is a bit short which can be a distraction when in inverted poses, ... longer top ... fine. I've worn ... only twice so far for ... outset ... appear to be well made and of quality fabric, ... remains to be seen if ... outlast other ... I've paid much less for.

Versatile ...
I wear ... mostly for ... I've also worn ... run, lift weights, play flag football, etc. ... amazing at wicking moisture. Minutes after ... hot ... class, the ... almost completely dry. ... also don't show sweat, which is great if you ... run somewhere right after class. I'm 5'11" and the longs are a perfect length.

I've been addicted to Old Navy's ... until ... phased out their great line with a design that featured hip happy brightly colored roll down top style ... which, frankly, ... hips need like a hole in the head. ... sucked up and dealt with the cost of getting ... am wearing ... now, as I write. Very comfortable. Smooth, well fitting consistent shape. To ... initial dismay, fresh out of the package, the length had seemed a tad longish and the bell taper seemed a bit wider than I would ... liked...(I'd purchased the Medium & am 5'5" in height) ... got over it and started wearing ... feeling ... built to last. The stitching & fabric is undeniably good quality.

Great fit in ... look like a nice dress ... feel ... comfortable like your favorite ... inseam is 32", ... instead of going short as most do - I went with the 34" and will cut to fit. I will be wearing ... regular basis, not just for ... Bought 3 colors and will ... see if there are more!

perfect ... day to evening
... like the old Athleta pants--the ones ... many reviewers yearn for ... don't find anymore. I'm 5' 7", 118 pounds, with long legs; I wear the small tall. ... sit just below the waist with a flat, wide waistband, and then are slim through the hips and then drop to the hem, which also has a flat, wide band that adds a nicely tailored touch. There's a very slim band down the side seam that feels good and stays flat after washing. Other reviewers ... said the legs are wide enough for a person to ... strong thighs, and I agree, ... aren't super wide--they're just right for wearing to work as well. The navy color is fabulous, a kind of dusty dark blue that doesn't shout "blue" ... isn't standard black. Even the green color is nice, very restrained and go with-everything. I bought all three colors after the first one came because you never know how long they'll keep the good ... (I'm still mourning the loss of the polartec power stretch pants--the old ones--so if you liked those, try ... BTW, I'm still wearing those old polartec ... after five years, washing ... 100 times a year, and ... still look good. Athleta products last.

I love ... It's ... hard to find a pair of ... wide legs! I am 5' 9", and teach spin, ... thighs are very muscular. Usually all ... including work out ... stick to ... thighs, ... fall away from ... make me look taller and leaner. I would love a couple more pairs of ... different colors. Please don't discontinue ... would even love it more if Athleta would make more wide leg ... us ladies with thighs! If you are looking for a wide leg ... truly are, and you won't be disappointed.

I really love ... comfortable that I don't want to take ... off. Great for ... eliptical, travel, casual day at work and lounging. I got the Petite navy blue color. I am 5'2" and the length is perfect for ballet slip ons. It is a really nice color. Sometimes you order the outfit in the catalog, get it home and it looks really bad together. This color really does go with the gray sizzle halter tank and black wild card jacket pictured in the catalog. I love the outfit and ... particularly love ... because I can take ... class and run around town without everyone thinking I'm wearing ... workout clothes.

I love the wide leg design! Bootcut ... VERY unflattering on me and make ... hips look big and ... knees look knocked. Yay! for wide leg! All the Athleta brand petite ... were an inch too short for me ... fit! Go figure. I'm ordering another pair!

Great ... wow the Petites are SHORT!
I loved ... minute I put ... fact, I wore ... every day for about 3 days! ... one little beef is that the petites are really short! I'm 5'1", a standard petite, and ... hit at about the ankle. I personally like ... bit longer, ... next pair will be a regular. Other than that, ... were incredibly comfortable, kept their shape and looked about 1000 times better than any of ... other workout ...

Can I wear ... work?
I fell in love with ... moment I tried ... Infact, I ordered another pair immediately. Being petite, finding ... don't require some tweaking is really a challenge. ... fit me perfectly and I find ... very flattering. The fabric is buttery soft and the fabric drapes nicely. The front pockets lay flat which is a plus, ... don't think I will store more than a single folded bill in ... do wish that ... came in more colors.

I ... hourglass figure curves down below. The cut of ... nice for people like me. However, the pockets are long and the rise is a little high. Moreover, the regular size ... only ... 31" inseam and the fabric make ... suitable for working out only. ... despite the nice cut, I just can't fork over all of that money for ... few negatives.
