perfect for Pilates
For ... pilates, these ... perfect. They stay in place even when I am in a reverse position. Comfy snug material without being too tight. I used to have to buy bicycle ... get snug ... pilates, but now I have these!!

Can''t go wrong with these ...
I decided to try these ... Bikram ... after wearing them for just one class-- returned to Athleta.com and bought the ... other two colors. The fit is perfect, the ... do not rise or bind, and there are no rough seams. They are snug which as any yogi will tell you in the hot ... class when you're doing Dancer’s Pose (Natarajasana), the last thing you want is your ... riding up your posterior! These ... however, thicker material and many Bikram yogis may not find that conducive to 105 deg and 40% humidity.

Perfect fit
I am a cyclist and have much more muscular thighs than the average woman. I also teach yoga. I bought these kick booty shorts for yoga. I was a bit worried thinking with the shorter length they would rise up during yoga. They fit perfect and didn't rise up. The material feels great against the skin and is a material that will last for a long time! They are a perfect fit!

Love Kickbooty!
I love the kickbooty line - I have the capris, pants and yoga shorts. I own four pairs of the yoga shorts, that's how much I love them! They don't ride up when I run and they don't ride down when I'm in a yoga pose. Highly recommend! I am 5'-4", 130 lbs and the medium fit nicely.

Perfect for Bikram yoga
I recently increased my Bikram yoga practice to 5 times per week and just didn't have enough bottoms. I initially bought these in the asphalt color and loved the fit, so just re ordered the black and got them today. I'm 5'6", around 145 lbs, and the Medium is perfect for me. No where else have I been able to find yoga shorts at a price like this. I've paid much more for my Prana brand shorts but these fit just as well. I'm sticking with the Athleta yoga shorts but wish they came in more colors.

these ... really work for me
i got these for ... though i don't do hot ... like ... rather than leggings for warmer days. the ... also good for indoor (gym) climbing and for quick bike rides around town. i don't know about the riding up problem since i haven't run in them. they are a perfect fit for me and i love the 5" inseam. i've had shorter and longer ... past and these are a great balance, and they're neither too tight nor too loose. i'm a tall ish size 6 or 8 in athleta, so the medium is wonderful. the waist rise is just right and the wide waistband is comfy and very flattering. the seams on the backside make my butt look better too. and i'm really glad for the "dress blue" since i'm so tired of black and gray (and the pink isn't hot enough for me, a little bubble gummy in my opinion). i would love to see other bright colors, as i'm a bit top heavy and darker pants make me look like i've got no hips or butt at all. not everyone wants the slimming dark look on the bottom. the fabric is substantial enough and i'm sure it will hold up well in the wash (and air dry since we don't have a dryer anyway). nice design which seems to be worth paying full price for.

Use ''em for running too
I bought them simply for the blue color to pair with a favorite running tank of another brand. These shorts are super comfortable. All of my criticisms are based on the fact that I use them for running, and not yoga, like they could use zipper pocket in the back or a drawstring at the waist and the thighs do ride up a bit, but not so much as to make me chafe. None of these would apply if I used the shorts for yoga, though. I like that they're a bit longer than other typical yoga shorts. They're a keeper.

Great ...
I really wanted the kickbooty capris to wear to ... during the warmer months, but they're on backorder until the end of summer. I was super hesitant to try these ... because I'm 5'9, 150 lbs, with big hips and thighs and a butt that's definitely not my favorite part of my body. I was afraid that I'd look stuffed into these ... they'd be too revealing for all of the bending that goes on in ... soon as I put them on though, I knew they'd be great. Don't get me wrong.. I still don't look like the super athletic models in the photos, but the fabric is thick and stretchy enough to shape pretty well(and it's soft too.. they feel cotton y instead of like typical stretchy workout wear). I got the size M and they hit about an inch and a half below my navel, flattening the tiny bit of tummy I have and not giving me muffin top at all. They are fairly short(not even mid thigh) but they're definitely long enough that I feel comfortable on my 3/4 mile walk to the studio and I don't feel like I'm wearing booty ... haven't noticed any sweat show through, and they definitely stay dry. I've only worn them twice so far but they seem well made.. we'll see how they hold up. I got them in asphalt, which might be just a little lighter than it looks in the photo, and now I want a black or pink pair as well.

Excellent choice
I purchased these ... "break away" from my old fashioned loose style running ... I'm so glad I did! I have to admit, I was hesitant at first - I'm a little more self conscious about my legs and struggled with the idea of wearing tight ... Functionally, I ran so much better in these ... more comfortable, and ceratinly, did not feel clingly or tight when I ran. I would have given them 5 stars if there were an inch longer, but otherwise, very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend for casual runners.

Great for hot yoga
The kickbooty yoga shorts are very flattering. The seams on the backside accentuates the little curves I have and at the same time slims down by tummy so I don't feel self conscious during my hot yoga class. Elastic at waist and leg openings doesn't cut into skin, very comfortable. The fabric is very breathable for the heat and it doesn't have that shiney cheap elastic look. I tried jogging in them and found them to be slightly constricting (I"m use to loose shorts tho). I'm 5'4" 123 lbs, ordered a small and they ride up a bit during some of the yoga poses but I can't imagine myself getting an XS. I'm thinking of getting more but they're a bit pricey for me to stock up on.

Good shorts for gym and yoga
These are great shorts for the gym and ... reasonable price. I got them in every color (though pink is not really my thing) as good shorts are hard to find. I like the waistband a lot as I don't have to keep adjusting like many ... shorts. I have muscular thighs and these shorts work really well without cutting off at the bottom. My only complaint is NO petite sizes. Athleta does a pretty good job at bringing petite pants and a few dresses. Why not shorts? Just because it's a ... doesn't mean it works for a ... person! (same with tops actually!) The length is a little longer than I would like, but with most things, as a petite person, you just have to put up with it as I'm not going to spend the money to alter fitness clothing. Otherwise, nice ... good quality fabric. Hoping Athleta will keep things in stock that get good reviews. They tend to sell something one season, sell out, and then move on to the next thing.
